And, dang. Misery is just cooooooold.
Especially since who knows how many spawn in misery mode? It could be that just one spawns.

There's the live audience and there's the backlog audience.
People have tended to appreciate it when I acknowledge that it's different when you're binging old videos later compared to waiting day-to-day as they are released in real time.

How is Misery any different than the settings you find in the dead man forums that were popular several years ago? Not fun in my opinion
The difference is that the negative afflictions are (a) actually imposed on the player by the game rather than imposed artificially by the player as a "rule" to follow, (b) unique to Misery, ergo not possible anywhere else in the game unless artificially imitated as in (a), and (c) they're randomized so you don't know which afflictions you'll get and in what order.
@@HadrianLP yeah so the game decides our problems instead of letting us make a mistake and getting into trouble

@@kennethkeideljr7523 It definitely forces you to play in a certain way. When loper first came out, there were only one or two forges in the world, and so it really forced players to go to one of two specific locations early if they wanted to make tools and then continue to survive.
And yet, many players now survive on loper for hundreds of days.
I'm not interested in trying that hard, tbh, but I respect those who can do it while maintaining a charitable attitude toward those of us who don't care to play that way.
@@HadrianLP I appreciate your input. I've been playing this game for at least 6 years. I've been following your channel for that long. We might not agree on play style but we both love the game
