It was easy. Accurate Dinosaurs. Able to build landscapes and place prehistoric Animals in it. I could not care less about the management part. I build natural looking Landscapes and place Animals there. Still a long ways to go for the game. But for People that are into prehistoric life, this Game / Sandbox is a no brainer. Edit: The way the Flora placement works in this game is godsent. :D
When I was a kid I used to watch the series where he went back in time to explore the oceans of different time periods almost every day, it was one of the only DvDs I had. I got exposed at a young age to the magnificence of the Dunkleosteus
Tbh i don’t mind the bad guests and stuff. Look at planet zoo and coaster! Over 60 bucks (now with 65% cheaper deal) and those models are also very basic.
Guests can be bad from different points of view: artistically, mechanically or technically. The latter refer to how much they reduce fluidity in large parks or if hundreds are seen on your screen, but currently this game outperforms PZ in this regard. The art will be improved as clothing assets are added, but I wouldn't be dissatisfied if the current faces aren't fleshed out more. I don't play dinosaur games because I want to look at the guests; they are there to make the park come alive from an overhead view. Mechanically guests (and staff) by extension will become more interesting as more management is added to the game, and much of that is promised during the remainder of Early Access.
I bought this game a while back and have decided to wait until they finally implement breeding to play it. From what little I've seen and done, it has a lot of promise.

This is a pretty clean review! I haven't seen other videos of yours so I don't know if you rate them following the same categories. No disrespect to your modular building skills, but I think it would have more than fair to also exhibit the boundless creativity of prefabs people have shared on the Steam workshop. It gives credit both to how you don't need to build everything yourself to create a park of your dreams, and to the reaches of possible creations even developers haven't dreamed of. Currently the adaptable modular construction is one of the selling points of the game as a creative park builder but it's being undersold because not enough content creators put effort in showing off what the game has to offer.
That’s a fair point - I plan on having another look at Prehistoric Kingdom in the future, so I will definitely mention that. Sorry I missed it out in this video.
Maybe one day - if it does one day, hopefully it’s implemented better than Planet Zoo for console was. This genre isn’t easily adaptable for consoles, and it’s usually an expensive, time-consuming process so I think that it will be a while if we do see it come to consoles.
Yeah, gotta be one of the weakest elements visually. Who knows if that will ever get a serious improvement. To be fair they were SOO much worse before Update 11

Just watched it and it looks great! Really excited for the staff training in particular - a good step forward towards a better staff system.

I bought it to support the devs but I'm waiting for the official release to play a well fleshed out experience.
I still haven't bought it yet as it still feels barebones, but keeping my eye on it and will likely buy it next year sometime.

Highly unlikely. At the moment, you'll need a PC way above Switch's capabilities to achieve reasonable performance.

@@ducklops I wish they would atleast have guests be more interactive, kinda like how planet zoo is where they'll stop and look at the enclosures.
