My first concert ever, January 1987 on the Inside the Electric Circus tour. A band opened up that nobody at the show had heard of...their name was Slayer. What an amazing 1st show!!🤘🤘
Thank you for sharing! I was there, but more in the middle. I didn’t capture much, loved the show! Best of #ToR shared with Uriah Heep and Alien Weaponry

Singing? You mean like in both pre-choruses where he didn't say a damn word from the lines "Ohhh, I just got to be up high where the whole world's watching me"? Not to mention the many other dropouts of a word here and there... Maybe those are due to BL's mic cutting out, or the person recording's cheap device muting when the levels clip, but I doubt it. He can still rock but his voice/vocals are shot. In fairness, if this was the end of the show, as IWBS tends to be an encore number a lot, then I suppose it's understandable he be getting a little hoarse. But if this is from that new "first album tour" promo they are doing where they perform the whole album from start to finish, then this song opens the album (or at least comes in second if they open with Animal) - which means this is the top of the show, and if BL is already skipping lyrics and dropping out vocally? Not good. Vocals aside, this is the first time I have seen BL "reclined" and not running around as usual. Not even standing (it looks like he's leaning or seated) - I dunno if he sustained an injury that gimped him up for a while, or if he's finally Gramping out and limiting his movement, but that's another red flag. Sorry to be the bringer of bitter truth, but we all get old, and nostalgic fanboy BS does not change that. Look, I have been a W·A·S·P fan since the debut album dropped in 1984, so don't even accuse me of being some kind of poseur or fake fan or "disloyalist". Hell, I even adopted my online handle based on the man + one of the album titles (SNBE) and his band (my previous handle was W T WASP), so if that's not a fan, what is? I love the band and all they've done, but I'm also just a no-BS realist who doesn't make weak excuses for anyone, no matter who they are or what they've accomplished before. Maybe I love the band enough to admit they've reached a plateau and cheering them on like they are all still 20-year-old wild child maniacs who sound as fresh and energized as they were back then, is disingenuous and not very fair to anyone : it blows sunshine up their butts and sets up potential new fans for disappointment. Yeah, okay, the guy is talented and had an amazing career and gifted us all with a ton of great albums and music... that's all well and good... but, so? That was then, this is now. If all anyone wants to do is glide on past success and achievement (which I am seeing an awful lot of lately all across the great entertainers of the 70s, 80s, and 90s), then perhaps it's time to end on a high note and just retire with dignity intact before it gets embarrassing. Seinfeld said it, and Costanza proved it : Exit on a high note. Don't overstay and push it.
He had 2 back surgeries. Hopefully by the next tour he will be able to stand & move around more. He's a metal soldier for doing this. He could've just stayed home & waited for the tour. He did this for the fans because he LOVES his fans!
@emp4845 How is he lip synching at this show? There's footage that says otherwise. I was sitting close enough when I saw them on 2022 tour & I could HEAR Blackie. He sounds great!
