I didn't realize you guys were sweethearts since you were kids, that is too lovely! Your relationship seems so respectful, loving, and wonderful from the outside, I'm sure any arguments are unimportant in the scheme of things. Thank you for spending your time off with us!
I loved how you responded to the question of what if Alaina not practicing islam or wearing hijab. I as a muslim leaving in non muslim country I always asked myself about that question regarding my 20 month old daughter, and i have fears but as You said you cannot force anyone to practice religion all we can do as parents is being the good example, trying to teach them and explain to them all the values of islam and why we practice religion and last but not least always making duaa because it can do miracles and Allah always answers our prayers ❤️ May Allah bless you Leena and may Alaina when she will grow up be a good and happy muslim girl as her mother or even better 🌸🌸
You can lightly physically discipline your kids if they refuse to pray though. And yes, you can compel certain groups of people to practice Islam. You can compel murtads in a khilafa to revert back to Islam in the 72 hour period or else they receive the Hadd. It is also the Khalifa’s duty to legally mandate Muslim men to pray 5x a day in a masjid. These are all fatawa from my local Hanafi Mufti. The Quran ayah from Surah 2:256 doesn’t mean that there are no social/legal consequences of belief or disbelief, what it means is that if someone is compelled to be Muslim, but they have no internal belief, then that testimony of faith will be rejected by Allah(SWT). My evidence for this is the video on Sharia by the channel Al Madrasatu Al Umarriyah.
considering our current climate and where societies are headed, we need to do more than just be an example. Because there are a lot of forces working against us, namely, social engineering. kids are getting brainwashed in school, online and in social media. I think we need to be better in giving an islamic education to our kids so they can defend themselves against the liberal ideologies that's taking over the world. And we have to think about what kind of environment we're raising them in. Because once they hit the teenage years they're gonna want to fit into their environments and they are easily influenced at that stage
The way nurses are treated (even here in Canada) just does not make sense to me. They really are the backbone of healthcare. Great video! Love you guys
My husband was an ICU bedside nurse for 11 years and it was the most stressful thing ever. After COVID happened my husband was just absolutely done and he got a job in management Alhamdulilah.
I dont practice islam anymore but my family does. But just because it didn't resonate with me does not mean that I dont carry the core values of being kind, charitable and trying to be a good person in all aspects. So don't be afraid I was fortunate to grow up in a loving and understanding home and that means more to me than anything
Just make sure the office room is somewhere further down from all the bedrooms. We have an amazing office, that’s not functional. It is right next to my MILs (master bedroom). She watches TV, we can’t work. We work (conference calls, classes online) she can’t rest. Either the walls need to be super insulated and sound proofed, or the office needs to be quite detached from all the bedrooms. Our house is a custom house and very well built. But this part was a miss!
loved this casual and genuine car chat, answering tough meaningful questions while still keeping it light and fun in others, I had smiles and laughs with you guys throughout, would love more of these!
Hearing your nursing stories hit home. My husband is a RN who did bedside and he’s 29 with a permanently messed up back. I work in the hospital as a diet clerk and I see how the hospital only cares about money. So sad but good for you guys to get out because the money isn’t worth it.
I feel the same about not returning to Labor and Delivery. Being self employed has been such a wonderful change for me. I would cry the night before a shift in anticipation of how stressful the next day was going to be!!
I like that she had already asked him this, just to 'confirm his correct answer' lol. And yes it is totally illegal in the USA to have multiple spouses!
I have visited Syria (Damascus) back in 2019 life was getting back to normal in Damascus. But yes, I get where you’re coming from regarding getting drafted into the military. It’s not safe going there for a visit, there are no guarantees. I hope the situation gets resolved soon, and Syrians will live in peace again.
I’ve been working from home since the pandemic started and my workspace is also the dining room table. 😅 While it comes with it’s challenges, I would not want to go back to the office. It just allowed me to stay at home for the first almost two years with my daughter. Thanks for sharing how you manage stress. I think it’s normal for all of us to have our own challenges. At the end of the day, we are all just hanging in there and just trying to take things day by day. Btw I appreciate how genuine you both are.
OMG! My eyes are so dried, Alana is like the water to my eyes!! She is love, love, LOVE! I wish I could see more of her playing, talking, just having her best time:) she is LIFE!
I makes me so happy to hear that you care for Alaina no matter what religion she does or doesn't practice ❤ My family used to be in this awful baptist church (the rest of my family is mainly Catholic but somehow we ended up there) and they would preach that basically anyone who's not in this one man's church should be excommunicated and cut off from their family. Marriages and families were destroyed over the belief that everyone else is "wrong" and that only people who are in the same little group are the "right" people. We left that cult thankfully, but all the years we spent there has shown me that unfortunately many people don't accept family/friends who have a different belief system than themselves and their circle. I've just seen that being religious=/=being a moral or loving person. But I definitely feel like you and your family are truly good and loving people tho!! Not just from your response but from having watched your videos for a couple years now 💗 Sorry for the long comment but just something I was thinking about for awhile! 💓
Loved the video Leena! Would you be able to do one on how to start content creation/becoming an influencer? I'd be really interested in hearing your tips and advice
You both always looking soo amazing together MashaAllah . You both are soo hardworking and inspiring and also a great parent, child, siblings and soo supportive to each other. May Allah always bless you both with endless love and happiness in your life. Amen. 💗💗💗😊😊😊 You guys are amazing.
I worked at a nursing home and I hated it..so much mistreatment in the nursing field, especially with older residents. residents peeing on themselves and not being fed properly. I caught a CNA putting creamer in cranberry juice instead of coffee to annoy the residents
I wish I had a family like yours mashallah. My dad is one of those strict angry Muslims. I couldnt wait to get away from my family after I got married. My parents wouldn't even watch my child for 3 hours a day so I can go to school to improve my life.
Your opinions about Alaina if she doesn't want to practice Islam or to wear hijab where you responded that it's her decision, you guys just have to be the best example for her and pray for her are great. ❤❤ This is really fun to watch!!!! Please make another QnA you two!!!
Leena I love the advice for your daughter ...my mum always said kids follows there parents footsteps & insahallah if u train her well & pray for her guidance..she with love hijab & our religion 💙 ❤
Train her? Hmm i don't like the sound of that..you can't train someone to believe in something, it has to come from there own will, you can't force someone into something and train them..
I didn't know that Omar is from Syria. My heart breaks for you and his family and all of Syria. I really hope his family is safe and that it will be safe for you all to visit soon.
This was a really sweet video. It was nice to see the two of you open up like this and be so genuine and down to earth - mashAllah you seem to have a beautiful relationship.
My SO and I both reacted the same way when our child went through the EIEIO stage. "He's SO smart, did you hear that??" 😄 Ours was also really only interested in daddy if I wasn't there for a while. But over the last 2 years it's definitely changed. He'll go through phases that last a few days where he only wants one or the other of us. But 80% of the time he simply assigned different roles to us. He LOVES daddy bedtime cuddles. He'll accept it from me if daddy has to be somewhere else but he clearly prefers daddy. He doesn't like other people reading him books, only me. Stuff like that. It's been really interesting to watch the changes as he grows and develops.

I think the fee is roughly $8000 to stay out of the army and I know my cousin payed that and he's stayed out. No drafting. My auntie is also planning to do that with her 2 sons in sha Allah
I LOVEDDD THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!! Y'all are so adorable mashallah and I admire your energy. I hope you guys know that you are sooooo loved and appreciated. Have a wonderful day
It’s so nice how Omar knew since he was 12 Aleena was it ❤️ He’s definitely raised to be a partner and husband & great father ! 👏🏽 Haha how Omar admits Alaina doesn’t care to much for him 😂😂 It’s just girls we just vibe😂 When she’s older she’s be a daddy’s girl it happened to me 😂
I loved this Q&A Leena! It was funny and sweet. Made my day.💓 I love how you change up your videos and keep it fun. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and watching yall. Much love! ❤
As far as I know, you can pay to avoid the draft! I think you can even have someone pay ahead of time for you so once you’re there, you’ll be fine. I’ll definitely ask my fam for more details, we’re going again either this summer or next!
You always add new ways to live life with day to day things... Both of you so satisfied with your selves and being husband/wife. May Allah keep you away from Evil Eyes. Love you

Awww!!! Hi Alanna!! I’m so happy for you!
Favorite part:
"Have you ever discussed getting a second wife?"
Omar: "oh, boy."
oh boy is right! 🤣🤣
Yes exactly!! We’re all just trying to do our best with what we have! I’m sure it’s been such a blessing to be able to be home with your daughter! 🥰🥰
OMG! My eyes are so dried, Alana is like the water to my eyes!! She is love, love, LOVE! I wish I could see more of her playing, talking, just having her best time:) she is LIFE!
I come from a Pentecostal faith, and still respect our differences! We do head coverings too! I love how open you guys are. God bless!
🥰🥰😍😍
hi leena
Leena take your time having a baby, don’t let anyone rush you. You are still young and have loads of time.
Thank you so much!! May Allah bless you and your family as well!! 🥰🥰🥰
Your answers regarding Alaina practicing religion/wearing hijab 💜💜💜 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 also sooo interesting to hear what you said about nursing wow
It's awesome that you keep your relationship private I like that and not everyone needs to know every step on your life. Great job I liked this video.
I worked at a nursing home and I hated it..so much mistreatment in the nursing field, especially with older residents. residents peeing on themselves and not being fed properly. I caught a CNA putting creamer in cranberry juice instead of coffee to annoy the residents
you guys are so cute and i love to see omar more on the channel and i love his confidence
I wish I had a family like yours mashallah. My dad is one of those strict angry Muslims. I couldnt wait to get away from my family after I got married. My parents wouldn't even watch my child for 3 hours a day so I can go to school to improve my life.
Love your answers about nursing. I'm doing a few more travel contracts to build up a safety net and then I'm leaving as well.
Your opinions about Alaina if she doesn't want to practice Islam or to wear hijab where you responded that it's her decision, you guys just have to be the best example for her and pray for her are great. ❤❤ This is really fun to watch!!!! Please make another QnA you two!!!

I'm Syrian and I have not been to Syria in 11 years so iA if you guys ever go to Syria I would LOVE to see a Syria vlog 😊
Leena i'm the same way with stress 😂😭 you are not alone!
Does anyone know which video it is where towards the end Leena is out to dinner with her whole family and her dad talks about raising kids Muslim?
I really have such respect for you Omar and Lina 💚
Why would Omar quit his nursing job?
Can you talk more about your gut problem and the sort of symptoms and problems you suffer from as my mum also has really bad issues and unfortunately no cure so far
I block all the men that try to follow me...like i dont get the reason why men follow married women its weird to me
I think the fee is roughly $8000 to stay out of the army and I know my cousin payed that and he's stayed out. No drafting. My auntie is also planning to do that with her 2 sons in sha Allah
"You become more of a partner" I am waiting to have that too! Love to see how you stick together and handle life n build this family

Aww leena, my son is like alaina but he only prefers his dad over me. Tell Omar don’t feel bad. I’m in Omar’s boat.
As far as I know, you can pay to avoid the draft! I think you can even have someone pay ahead of time for you so once you’re there, you’ll be fine. I’ll definitely ask my fam for more details, we’re going again either this summer or next!
