I lived in Colo Spgs. in the '80s and used to walk in the Garden of the Gods on a daily basis. This brought back a lot of great memories - thank you!
I am glad I could help. Thank you.
I was here a few weeks ago. Words cannot fully explain the sense of wonder that you feel in this place. In the little pockets of brush there are tons of Mule Deer, Pika, and rabbits looking right back at you. Between the birds nesting in these structures chirping, cicadas, and rattlesnakes, this land sings. Leaving felt like I’d been hosted by some great entity that wanted me to leave healed. My dreams that night were life-changing.
Beautifully described. This is "one of a kind", stunning place to visit. Thanks for your comment.
@@chrisbiela Thank you as well for capturing the land in a way that helps me relive it!

What a beautiful video! Loved it..I also visited this amazing natural wonder Garden of the Gods recently and made a video capturing its beauty! Regards!
Thank you very much for compliments. Greetings.
WOW
Thanks
A very beautifully made video. You say this is a National Landmark. Is this designation different than a National Park? Thank you so much for sharing this video with us.
Yes, it is. It doesn't have National Park status. So, it is not operated by government (state I think). I wouldn't be ably to fly near or over if it was. Thanks for compliments
We are thinking about visiting GOTG
Beautiful place.
these cutaway effects hurt my eyes but damn is garden of the gods beautiful
Yes. It truly is. Thanks
👍
Thanks

Tysm for those drone shots! I was really bummed their permit pricing was so expensive but still a gorgeous place to be
Yes. It is a beautiful place. Loved it.
I was going to fly my drone here but there is a sign every 100 feet saying no drones. They are trying to protect rare birds.
I wasn't flying in the park though. I was in the park without it to enjoy it. I did my flights from the outside of the park in the morning when no one was around.
Are people allowed to hike to the peak of these things? I really want to go here 😣😍
You can climb by permits only. Park was open for self guided tours only. All amenities were closed. Really cool place.
Stunning. Drone images are at sunset or sunrise?
Drone shots are done at sunrise. Beautiful colors. Thanks man.
Did you have any trouble from the park regarding the usage of drones?
Park was closed due to Covid at the time of flying.
I’m going there in Oct. hope park still closed so I can fly my drone.
Great vid! What’s the song?
Thank you. Song name is "I Heard It in a Dream'" by Jay Denton
Any reasons not to go here in December?
It might be interesting.
Do they charge you to go in?
I think so. I was during pandemic. Everything was closed. Park was open for self guided tours only. Worked well for me.
I live nearby, it's free no charge at all
Operating a drone inside the park is not allowed and disrespectful to the place.
You are absolutely right.
Did you need special permission to shoot there?
To fly a drone - yes. To film on the ground - no unless this is a commercial shoot.
@@chrisbiela who do you contact to fly a drone there? The city OT park services?
@@dangeles95 Park Services.
@@chrisbiela I am looking to do this and fly drone from outside the park. is this allowed if the videos are being monetized? From what I see, it seems like you may need a permit?? Would love some help.
this was actually a giant whale that fossilized, all mountains that look like this are. Praise God, read Genesis
👍
As a Christian I must ask, if mountains are just fossilized whales what are mountain ranges that stretch for thousands of miles?
@@theshrimp1657 techtonic plates coliding with each other, those mountains are what seperated all of the different tribes, these "mountains" look different than those in obvious size and color, the reddish tint gives away that it used to be alive but bled out rapidly. A water creature of some evil kind, much bigger than the whale, most likely ate out where the ribs would be and that's why there is a gap in between the whales body.
do you really think god would take the time to chisel every rock, every mountain, every river by hand, let alone in 6 days ? He's smarter than that and genesis tells the real story, giant whales covered the oean and fossilized into moutains
ahh i knew it ya back in days of Noah!!! i see )
You clearly know nothing about geology
