I think the young man learned to appreciate what he has. As a man who grew up with a father who was around but not available I can understand him wanting a relationship. But he like me learned that sooner or later you have to move on with life and embrace those who love you.
Beautifully made. Despite a couple of negative comments, don't worry about it. You made a fine film that worked for me! Well done!
This short movie is really very touching and shows how we should appreciate the love and care of our families and stop doing bad things.

A well made film with a powerful message that is plaguing our world today, drug addiction and it's impact on the family unit ! Very sad.! Horrible to think that this piece of crap father would use his son for a damn drug deal ! Wow ! How nice it would be to see a sequel to this film showing reconciliation of the family and the father but I think too many times this is not the reality, but only a wish!

it was his Father , & he is not Happy with him , That is why he threw the Drugs back at him !
... and threw his father's leather jacket into the garbage. The young fellow had a lot of guts!
I don't think this brought anything new to the table that we didn't already know. I think you could have worked more on the relationship of the Mother and Son. How does a Mother fill the role of both parents, when a son is pinning for the affection of his Father? That would be a better story.
The scene with the Dad is dragged out and a bit unreal, the drugs, it was all unreal, even his costume and the location of the scene was off.
Was he in prison? If so, how has he access to metal spoons? And drugs in his sock and that amount is huge too all not believable. Ultimately what new info have we learnt here that we haven't seen before? I don't see anything new I'm afraid.
