Ironic, I did call it "free for all" when this began. Not identical, but dang close. No trial. I attended the hearing, and as a retired County Superior Court Clerk's office, I broke into tears. In the public bathroom, a patron called me into a stall. The Council on Aging Director, in the bathroom at the time, the woman whispered for me to ask the judge for an attorney for my mom. It was denied, with court investigator whose recommendation to deny the petition. Their reason: Major Neurocognitive Disorder (two weeks before this hearing mom was released from the hospital with UTI & dehydration (confusion that mimicks dementia). She got up every day, regardless, she dressed with shoes and socks. There is one year conservatorship (after denied), all this was accomplished by the "fiduciary" using invalid estate papers, removing and replacing mom as trustee & POA on 4 accounts. This fiduciary from the non-profit, closed Value checking which autopay accounts & drafts. Forwarded the mail, and let the phone disconnect and garbage, etc. The Director at the Council on Aging along with the fiduciary from COA she worked with. I have current problems, as one of the 3 heirs, I was surcharged for the actions of the COA. $28, 500 of surcharges when I was AHCD (not a signer on the account). I am moved by your video. Please Please tell me you care what the current issues are. I have so much grief & my mom was FOUND DEAD when supposedly had 24 hour non-medical caregivers (some of which approached me in the public regarding forced antipsychotics to mom)...One year when I begged and cried as they tore us apart. Just one year and before they were given unfair and unethical control when my mom had exclusive control in the financial...and mom's death certificate showed no "cause of death"...cardiac arrest by a Kaiser Physician (mom had not been a Kaiser patient more than 30 years)...mom's primary healthcare House Calls FNP performed EKG & battery of lab tests finding a clean bill of health. Thanks for your attention to this important matter. Seems jackals and buzzards abound lurking to rip off and abuse the elderly. They don't care about anything but themselves and whether they get over, no matter what the cost. The selfish grasping for money is pathetic and beyond hypocritical. It will pan out that the ends do not always justify the means. This issue needs fair and balanced consideration and legislation.
Are there any attorneys that will fight against this in broward county Florida? My friend wihile competent went few months ago and made me POA and now court is trying to take away my POA and put him in home and find him incompetent and take over his assets. He says if he dies he wants house left to me. How to fight against this corruption

Failing to hire an attorney can be a VERY expensive mistake! You may be very smart, even college educated but without an "ESQ" after your name? You DON'T know all the angles of the law that an attorney will.

Roland Thomas Martino in Hillsborough County, Tampa Florida guardianship since 2016 paid at least 10 attorneys in the case. Despicable.
