- Passau / Germany is a Bavarian city at the Austrian border. Passau is called the "City of Three Rivers" as it lies at the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers.
On our tour we start at the St. Stephen's Cathedral, featuring distinctive onion-domed towers and an organ with 17,974 pipes. We walk down to the banks of the Inn river and check out the the old town which is known for its baroque architecture.
Soon we are at the Three River Conjunction (Dreiflüsseeck) from where we walk back along the Danube (Donau) river on the Donaukai. This leads us back to the central city where we get to the train station and end our Passau tour.

What a wonderful cathedral, the ornately decorated walls and ceilings... magestic! Definitely a lot of history in this place. Pasau looks like a peaceful and ideal place for a relaxing holiday.
Passau beautiful Passau. The city on three rivers. I do love Passau. Walking by the rivers, walking the narrow streets. Just stopping to stare, watch the river go by and enjoy the place.
I am a student of the university in Passau and our campus was voted the most beautiful campus of Germany two times already, the university is right next to the Inn river
I was there last summer. What a pretty city by the Danube!
Trees on 36min fantastic.👍
Hi, Daniel. Thanks for another tour of another amazing city. Every tour is interesting. Good luck.
Absolutely love your walks through Germany PopTravel, they are the best on UA-cam! I just scroll through this one on my phone and it looks awesome so I'm going to put it up on my flat screen TV to really soak it in. Great job as always, cheers from New York and have a great rest of your week!

Passau in Germany
I wish our cities in the US were as pretty as those in Germany. No cars. Inconceivable!
Mh have you ever seen Berlin or Cologne? Two of the ugliest cities in the world, the exception is the Cologne cathedral. The grass is not always greener on the other site. A lot of cities in Germany were bombed to ashes during WW2.
When are you going to do another video in Poland 🇵🇱?
If all goes right probably September I'll be in Poland again. There is an old Torun walk from 2019 coming up ( ua-cam.com/video/Qrsh9Di_OAk/v-deo.html ) yet I hopefully get to Poland again during late summer / early fall. There are more than 20 videos of winter and summer in Poland from the 2019 trips: ua-cam.com/play/PLaxUrZNxL7WJbd_j27thqGAZZAsmaKemo.html
