- Worms / Germany is a city on the Upper Rhine in Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz). Worms is known as the city of the Nibelungenlied. This epic poem (in English "Song of the Nibelungs") was written by an anonymous poet from Passau around the year 1200 in Middle High German song verses.
With a pre-Roman foundation, Worms is one of the oldest cities in northern Europe.
We start our walking tour of Worms at the Dom St Peter, built around 1100, which is the main sight of the city. From there we get into the city center passing the Siegfried fountain.
Our tour also gets to the Nibelungen Museum before returning to the center.
On our way to the train station we also see the Luther Monument.

Wondering where the name came from. Nice place. We have dicksboro, fannystown, muff and hackballscross here in Ireland.
@@donallmccrudden4812 yeah we got some weird names here too in the states as well . With body parts name too I think our four fathers was drunk or thing about sex too lol 😆
@@niccolehoody7317 intercourse pensylvania, truth or consequence new mexico, placentia collorado are a few. We also have bastardstown in ireland. Muff in Ireland is slang for lady bits(without being too descriptive) same goes for fanny which is a bit different to America. So when we here Americans say it in passing we kinda giggle a bit like kids😀

Ich wohne in frankreich aber habe immer meine Ferien bei meine gross Eltern in Worms verbrach peterstasse 37. Ich habe als ein freund gehabt der ulli will heisst. ich mochte er wieder finden. Er hat auch eine schwester gehabt.
