There's not anything wrong with a Nitro boat. There's a lot of affordable bass boats out there unless you just want to go to the boat ramp and show boat. One thing about it at the end of the day, it aint gonna make you catch any more fish depending on what the name on side of the boat says. One of the best bass fishermen that I everknew in South Georgia and he built his own boats out of Cyprus. And I'll put him against anybody. Fishing on the river for bass.👍
I don't know a whole lot about the various manufacturers of bass boats, but if I recall correctly Nitro is up there with skeeter and other premium brands. I dont mind the minimalist package as I've always been a tinkerer and customizer of my things. But that said, I think I'd take that $54k and put it towards a fully outfitted top of the line model from a few years ago that still has warranty left.
Inflation has made these things pretty much unobtainable. That payment is over 20 years, which comes out to $90,720 for the true cost of the boat if you only made the minimum payments.
I agree David. Isn’t that crazy how expensive they are now as compared to one year ago. They hide the costs with the terms. It’s still a nice boat for tournament fishing but you might be better off buying a used boat.
You're not wrong but a lot of financial institutions such as banks and credit unions will give you a boat loan if you have good credit. I feel like a boat is just like a car or a house. You can make a smart purchase or a dangerous one.
Rip off ! Interest is designed to keep people poor forever . I buy everything cash and it makes life much easier and doesn’t give my hard earned money to bankers who need a smack . Houses, boats ,trucks all cash .
@@lamebritishman1 they still use wood in boats, after all wood in boat building been used for 1000's of years, my 87 bass boat that I sold years ago is still in use , big part of owning a boat is care
@@jerrypauling7809 Most (if not all) bass boat manufacturers got rid of wood in the mid 2000s. Nitro was one of the last to get rid of it. Your 1987 boat may have been well cared for, but most boats from that area have rotten transoms, stringers, and floors.

Yeah nitro is nice, but that would be so much smarter finding one other a warranty left and more money for tourney entries

Back in my bassing days a boat like that would be around 16k and and your term would be 4yrs. Soon you'll be able to buy one cheap
But back in those days the stringers, floors, and transom were all wood with a thin layer of fiberglass over them. That boat is all fiberglass.

I disagree, this boat will easily hit 70mph which most people don’t try to go that fast unless you have perfect water conditions.

Ha most serious tournament guys have 60-80k rigs then add the electronics, but yeah for a new boat 53k is still expensive
