This is brilliant. They were my questions you answered and I’m really grateful to you. We actually picked up our DB9 yesterday. In the end we went for an MY2015 on a 64 plate so the 510 model, 19k on the clock. It’s a carbon black edition. Swayed by the Timeless warranty and, as you mention in the video, the dealership experience (Dick Lovett, Bristol). Thank you so much for picking my post for #QOTW, DB9 is an amazing car and it’s a really helpful post.
Great answers! My local franchise dealer sees a DB9 on the floor maybe 1-2 times a year. The last one was a gorgeous 2016 Carbon Black with 6000 miles on the clock. It was a bit over my price point at 120k US. They continue to try and push me into a DB11 but that’s even more coin and I just done have the same love for that design. The search continues!
My personal experience I bought a 450hp 06 car lowish miles , its been to mike and the guys and had many tweaks , but I now have the car I want with lots of power etc , and I know it inside out
I went for the latest model DB9 470hp 2011 LE Sport with every option possible and a car with very low mileage. Because I didn’t want the stress of carbon ceramic brakes and the harsher ride. I also bought private as I like to see where the car lived and who the person is that drove it. I can purchase an Aston warranty if I choose but this time being my second DB9 I’m going to risk it as they seem pretty bullet proof. If I could just get the primary cats done by Mike I would be very confident of no major issues , so please Mike , answer my emails I have sent so I can book it in ! Cheers chris
Great vid - super helpful for my DB9 search! Fyi the pics of the 470bhp models that are shown are for different listings, the 48k one is actually a lovely white and the 52k is black and has the Bluetooth upgrade
I recently bought (Oct '24) a 2010 DB9 Volante 40,200 miles. FSH in pristine condition for £32500. Two questions. Does it sound like a good price. Second. Is it the 470 or 450 BHP model?

I always pay the extra to buy from a franchise dealer with a factory backed warranty. Worth it for my peace of mind.

Weird I’m looking for a DB9 now!

Would love a 2009-2011 DB9 without a black interior and quick silver paint or something close-red interior-less than 15k miles-coupe-under $62.5k
The 470bhp glass key car is the sweet spot value for money… a bargain if your looking for a really special N/A V12
