Amazing! I don't eat pork and pork products. I made it with kosher beef, lamb or rabbit and it was so bloody delicious! :) I followed the exact same recipe and I love it so much! You definately can make a crackling crispy skin with beef, lamb and rabbit too! Believe me! :))
I'd love to see you guys do some Philippine cuisine. Only been following you guys for months now and I'm loving every episode I watch. Would love to see that, mates. Keep the awesome stuff guys. :)
ahah :) sometime I wake up during the night and go for a smelly camembert in the fridge (it is perfect) even the mosquitos leave you alone after that :)
I use a slow cooker on low to medium for 10 hours, comes out so succulent and tender. But you'll need to de fat the sauce before you reduce. I guess not so much in an oven for a shorter time.
So a pork shoulder is best, but would any pork suffice if it's hard to buy (or in my case, I have a ton of pork in my freezer but I think there's no shoulder there)
So happy when for once, making something Chinese/Asian isn't an excuse to overload coriander! Or maybe I've spent too much time watching Jamie's recipes.
Sorry guys, slow-smoked barbeque is the only way to truly respect pulled pork. The flavor is unbeatable, and the bark on the outside is to die for. That pork also didn't look quite juicy enough because it was braising in water, and the temperature was a bit high. Juiciness comes from fat, but when you cook it in water, much of the fat leaks out and water stays in. I highly reccomend smoking a pork but at 225 F until the lowest internal temp is 206 F. You can brine it and rub it with asian inspired spices, then finish it with an asian sauce to capture the natural beauty of a barbequed pork shoulder, but still make it your own asian inspired twist. Would love to see you guys try barbeque!
This looks glorious, but I really dislike the taste of pork. Would it require much adaptation to do it with beef? Change some of the spices or whatnot?
That lookws great! I will say, as an American, I would appreciate it if you would also say the degrees in Fahrenheit as well. Not that it takes that long to pop it over into google, but it would save me a step!
What a great recipe...I have one problem which is a biggie: I am allergic (yes, true allergy, not just made up) to apples. What could I substitute (also allergic to pineapple) for the apple juice? I would love to make this!!
+txdonna13 You can just use chicken broth like the typical pulled pork recipe. Chicken broth is widely used in asian cooking as well, just fyi if you think keeping it "asian" is also important enough.
That little nod that Ben does every time he says "Sorted!" is my always my favorite bit.

The subtitles in the beginning are just great :'D
I've never been a fan of coleslaw cause I don't like Mayo. But I am so looking forward to making this and trying it out!
I usually prefer coleslaw made without mayo. It just tastes fatty and gross, ya know? I've found there are plenty of non-mayo coleslaw recipes though.
Well I'm so happy I didn't go to school today. A SORTED Live show and then a video. Day=Made
OMG SAME
I wud love sorted to do a reaction video to the older sorted videos, like a throwback kinda thing.
Pulled Pork is SO GOOD. And this looks amazing lads, well done!
We had cooked a pork shoulder in our new smoker the other day. It was amazing.
I was eating this all the time in Beijing last summer! Thank you so much for the recipe!!! :D
I'd love to see you guys do some Philippine cuisine. Only been following you guys for months now and I'm loving every episode I watch. Would love to see that, mates. Keep the awesome stuff guys. :)
Looks incredible. I had one the other day from a pub for lunch and it was awesome but I never knew how is it was to make it yourself. Thanks.
Just watched Todd's recipe for something similar, now can't decide with one to make for today's dinner, hmmm
why do i always watch these in the middle of the night. i get horrible cravings every time.
I have exactly same issue lol
ahah :) sometime I wake up during the night and go for a smelly camembert in the fridge (it is perfect) even the mosquitos leave you alone after that :)
Yum! I shouldn't watch this stuff when I'm hungry. My stomach is growling!
Allways done that
+Jill Simmons When you're hungry is the best time, hopefully it inspires you to make something yummy.
3:48 does it mean something different if we ARE french?
Anyone else noticing that it sounds like Ben always says "sauceben" when he says sauce pan?
+David Andersson no
subconscious egotisticalism?
Just when I read this he said it 😳
+Mika Chabeda no
+David Andersson cant un hear it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looks divine! We do ours in the slow cooker and have it on brioche buns. So want to try that slaw 👍
Oh wow that looks delicious! The crackling looks awesome!
The fact that Jamie wasn't questioning the mayo less-slaw makes me rethink everything..... mostly cole slaws though haha

That crackling looks immense!
If you looked up "Challenged" in the Sorted thesaurus the first word underneath it is "Paid"
Could you guys do a series for budget, cheap, healthy and easy recipes for college or university students

The sound of the crackling...
So a pork shoulder is best, but would any pork suffice if it's hard to buy (or in my case, I have a ton of pork in my freezer but I think there's no shoulder there)
Do a video on how to make an aioli. That is the tastiest thing to pulled pork, I think. :)
if you don't have a pot that can go into the oven, will an 8x8 inch glass baking dish work, with foil over the top?
I happen to have a pork shoulder in the slow cooker tonight, hopefully it will have turned to porky BBQ mush by tomorrow!
Sorted food I love asian pulled pork bud it yummy and crispy
That 'slaw is to die for!
Use the kitchen aid mixer to "shred" the meat faster. more uniform than with forks and you don't need to wait for it too cool off.
You've made me seriously crave pulled pork..." Daaaaaaaaad I've got an idea for dinner tonight" 😂
+Catriona Fox Still, you'd have to wait another four hours till it's cooked :)
Oh god when they used the forks to pull apart that pork it made that scratchy sound eek
wow. looks incredible.
disappointed you guys didn't say 'Slawted' at the end - missed opportunity :D
😂
+Sophie Bailey that would have been classic!
That would make my tummy smile
If I made it in a slow cooker, do you think it would take the same time for the pork to cook on "high"?
Onion at 3:53 has Mickey mouse ears :) Great recipe as always!
This looks so good
I'm drooling right no...
Looks great guys ☺️ I would of suggested a brioche bun ☺️
I think it'd be interesting to put Asian style pulled pork into a steamed/fried dumpling
Is it 4 hours for each kilo or do I keep it in the oven for 4 hours if I have a 3 kilo pork shoulder?
God damn. This video made me salivate even after having food myself. Send me your leftovers!
No buns at home - so tonight I'll be making this but a fried rice version!
Can you do something with tofu? I never know how to tackle it!
any recommendation on marinating overnight?
So happy when for once, making something Chinese/Asian isn't an excuse to overload coriander! Or maybe I've spent too much time watching Jamie's recipes.
I just saw you guys in Tivoli, in Denmark :)
Amazing! Thats Monday sorted :)
Mmm... Pulled pork... One of my favorites ^_^
heaven on a plate!
Sezzzzame oil. love the way Ben says it 😄
can the sesame oil be replaced by a different oil?
5:23 head to love WHAT Jamie?!
Loveporn.co.uk

Please make Filipino style Adobo with a SORTED twist.
+Bea Torrefiel a few weeks ago they were testing adobo in the recipe lab. They'll do on a video on it some time soon.
+Tarah Field Cool, thanks for telling me. I didn't know, sorry
That looks amazing.
that looks super yummy
I really love that they don't pretend to... arrive... when they eat good food. I always feel like people are lying when they do that.
I'm Drooling 👌
Can you guys do something for ANZAC day? Maybe an ANZAC biscuit recipe?
Never knew you could do pulled pork that way. Always assumed you needed to do it on a grill.
mmmm have to try it!

Asia's a big place, my guys
I love pulled pork! So amazing ^.^
Damnnn that looks good!
Next episode I think that you should make traditional Scottish white pudding
How long would this keep for once cooked? I wouldn't be able to eat it all in one go.
+Will Parkinson Generally these things last a good 4-5 days in the fridge so you should be fine
I do mine filipino adobo style with apple cider vinegar and sprite instead of sugar and water
Can you guys make white chocolate brownies?
Canyon guys make gulab jams or/ and jalebi?? mmmm
This makes me really hungry for a classic Vietnamese banh mi.
Sadly, the nearest place that makes them is about 40 minutes away.
how do i make buttermilk fried chicken??
Hi Sorted food :) Could you do a Challenge about vegetarian food ?
i wanna try this!! :0
What could you use instead of apple juice? Unfortunately im allergic to apples
Use any other juice of choice, for example pear juice will be great substitute. Very close to Apple.
oh my that looks tasty
Oh man those cracklins oAo
I'm assuming if I were to use a slow cooker, it would be for 4-5 hours on high?
Yeah I would say the same. Maybe rotate meat in the halfway of cooking.
saucepen? flabors? :^)
This looks glorious, but I really dislike the taste of pork. Would it require much adaptation to do it with beef? Change some of the spices or whatnot?

Can I put the pork in a slow cooker instead of in a low oven to simmer?
+Analicia Dubrisingh You can definitely do it in a slow cooker.
Forgot to add that you'll need 5 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low setting for the slow cooker.
+opwave79 Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely making this!
You're welcome! I make a Hawaiian pulled pork in my slow cooker all the time so I know it works :)
What a great recipe...I have one problem which is a biggie: I am allergic (yes, true allergy, not just made up) to apples. What could I substitute (also allergic to pineapple) for the apple juice? I would love to make this!!
Water with a slapsh of Lemon
