Hello everyone! I have reuploaded my last video as part of the original video has been muted due to a copyright claim. My mistake but I hope this is much better and you can now listen to the full story. Thanks so much and hope you enjoy it!
@@marianaheggland hello! 😃 I wasn't always positive but I tried my best to stay positive. H. Pylori is really difficult but you can get rid of it and a positive attitude is one of those things that will help you get through this. Yes, I will try my best to do more videos on this. My latest video talk about my journey with h. Pylori as well so you might find that interesting too. Hope you get better soon ❤️
I've had my H. Pyolri for around 3-4 years I think, just found out about it this week. I'm on the triple meds. My dosage is 500 MG of Amoxicillin, 500 MG of Clarithromycin, and 20 MG of Omeprazole. Very first night's sleep on my new meds and I noticed less stomach pain already. They say to retest 4 weeks after you finish your meds. I'm hopeful to make a recovery. I've had incnredible stomach pain for too long and it's also hurt my mental health too as H. Pylori drains you of your amino acids.
Hi m8 I'm 58 and just recently finished the meds you are on. Spoke to the doctor after the course was finished and was told there was no need for a retest but still take omezrapole when required. I still have a sore tummy every now and then now I've changed my diet and hope that helps. I think it's a long drawn eradication hope you get well soon and remain positive 👍
@@robertmcshane1038 if you start feeling unwell after a month or so you should certainly retest. Also I would be careful with omprazole, it's an antiacid and those only mask symptoms of acid reflux but they don't fix the root of the cause. Also long term they're really and for you.I would try to stay away from it, instead try using diet (which you said you're already doing) to eradicate the root cause. I have two books which I purchased on amazon which you may find helpful: "H Pylori Rescue Guide" by Angela Privin, and "How I Cured My Silent Reflux by Don Daniels". They provide recipes and meal plans for you to follow as well as they're full of useful information about the two conditions. Hope this helps.
I ended up in hospital with bleeding in stomach. Got a endoscope done which showed bleeding ulcer, inflamation in 3 parts of upper stomach. They trsted for h. Pylori and was strongly detected. Doctors put me on same meds as you. And like you i was a bit tired for a few days. I am on day 6 now since i left hospital and i am already feeling much better. Because of the bleeding i am on 14 days of antibiotics and 6 weeks of ppi and then back for new scan. So far so good
@@doggidog2992 I got rid of h pylori, and feel much better. The ulcers have healed but iStill have gastritis and duodenitis as it takes much longer to get rid of, but am way better than I was. I find taking organic wheatgrass powder every day is great for my stomach and digestive system. I will be getting another endoscope in a few months and hopefully the gastritis will be gone by then. Just need to watch what I eat and drink.
Yes, h.pylori gone, ulcers gone, still working on clearing up gastritis using diet changes like adding in more anti inflammatory foods and reducing inflammatory foods, like sugar, processed foods.
I just got the call that the test came back positive. This has been negatively affecting my life for so long im glad i found the issue. Wish the best to you.
Same here I got my call back positive too. An added issue I’ve been having is weight gain and metabolic issues? But I keep reading that weight gain isn’t a common symptom but I’m guessing it’s probably linked to h pylori affecting my gut health and metabolism in turn.
You are so right when you mention the effects binge eating when you were a child has on you as an adult 😑I hope you have resolved your problems with h pylori. By the way, diet alone is not enough. H pylori cal also be transmitted through saliva
I've had issues for close to a year now, and the doctors are only just testing me. They ignored my symptoms and put it all down to my ceoliac disease. Finally, I got a nurse practionor who listened to me.
Hi, Karolina, I agree. Listening to one's body is the key to good health. I have taken the HP treatment, it was successful, and I have morphed into the Keto life.
Which treatment and how long until you started feeling better? I’m on day 3 of triple antibiotic therapy and haven’t noticed relief other than sleeping through the night
Thank you so much I’ve been having exactly same issues for almost 1 year my doctor recently gave me antacid tablets has not helped, I eat really healthy and I’ve been so confused and concerned I am finally now being referred to a gastroenterologist and will have a H pylori test and Sibo test I’m really hoping I will get a result that will allow me to have a diagnosis and treatment plan. I pray I am able to heal like you as it’s really affecting my day to life sleep, energy and digestion
I’ve been dealing with indignation nausea insomnia are my main symptoms. I’m getting tested in a few days for it I’ve been dealing with almost everything you said for almost 4 months. I’m really hoping that this is what I have so I can be treated. It’s been absolutely terrible.
I was diagnosed with H Pylori almost a year ago, after stomach pain so bad that i was fainting if i ate most foods. I started taking the treatments, the first day i felt sooo amazing and binge ate all the things i hadn't been able to eat, but by day 3 i felt terrible and i started losing my hair. I went off the treatments and basically have been managing it without treatments.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you are drinking omeprazole or any ppi and you get the urea breath test to detect the h pylori it would give you a false negative . So you need to be out of ppis at least 14 days prior getting tested .
H. pylori is not a good disease at all. It doesn't just cause problems in our stomach, but it can also lead to anxiety and depression. This happens because our stomach is directly connected to the brain. Our gut produces hormones like serotonin, and as long as it's being released properly, we'll continue to feel good. H. pylori can disrupt this balance, leading to anxiety and depression. It's definitely not a good condition to have.
Just got diagnosed today. Also had anorexia for a decade. Abused Laxatives too. They are testing me for celiac and things too. Will get results soon. Also have GERD. I have felt like ive been dying for 2 months. I also had the sore throat! Heal fast ❤
Thanks for uploading such informative video in detail and easily understandable manner. Love from India 🇮🇳 H PYLORI symptoms and gallbladder stone symptoms are almost same..
My mother developed this after acid reflux complaints. She was admitted to the hospital. Mind you, she had diabetes type-2 for more than a year while gastritis took place. I thought she will be fine after Medicines are taken as prescribed. Then Her cystic nerve has Gallstones stuck which created problems. During Ultrasound, ultrasonography and endoscopy examination, we has conclusive proof that she have H. pylori infection and that to with multiple ulcers in Duodenum and stomach lining. I had an inkling as symptoms haven't improved after her gastritis endoscopy couldn't make a conclusion. She is now on 500mg Tinidazole, 750 mg amoxycilin and 20 mg pantaprazole. She is now done 2 weeks and her symptoms have improved. Her endoscopy is due within a week and I am hoping that her RUT is negative. But I guess, Doctor will still recommend her Rabium-20 and pantaprazole if she comes negative.
I just finished my one week triple therapy and i still feel like crap, I was feeling a little bit better initially but then towards the end of the treatment feels like im back at square one. This bacteria has ruined my life
Very nice video. When I listen to the doctors, I don’t really understand but you explained everything which I understood.(I am from Romania )Thank you 😊
@@Minime710 If I recall correctly, I tried to eat a serving of the sprouts every day for approx one month. But I grew my own sprouts because the supplement forms didn’t work. One thing to note is to be sure you are not iodine deficient when focusing on eating sprouts.
@@coachedby.karolina i am allot better. I was on 4 different antibiotics. Two week process. Thank Goodness i am healthy again. For the longest time i thought I had heartburn or just a sensitive stomach to food.
I was diagnosed in December 2021, I took the triple antibiotics therapy, then a month later they made an endoscopy and didn’t find it, but I’m still having stomach issues, not like the symptoms I had back in December 2021, they are not that strong now. My stomach doesn’t feel the same anymore like it was before the infection, I even have hives almost every week.
Thanks for sharing, I used the same meds but the second day I get sick pain on the chest, fever and headache then I told that to my Dr he recommended me to discontinue and switching to a different medication regimen. what's known as quadruple based therapy.
My advice as a RN is if you test positive for h pylori do not ignore any symptoms because you may not have any symptoms and you don’t know how long you may of had it. Also untreated h pylori can turn into lymphoma and you definitely don’t want to have that in your stomach. Take care of yourselves.
Wait really?? I have it and my Dr prescribed me a bunch of medicines and I haven’t been taking them because I thought it was nothing to worry about and I’d be fine…
I’m so used to being sick and stomach issues I have given up on even trying and just felt nothing will help me. Ugh this is so scary to read. I suppose I should start taking the medicines I was given… I really wasn’t going to take them and then just go retest bc they said so. Knew it turn up positive but didn’t think it would be a big deal 😮
@@boooooooo841 Well unfortunately it could turn into a big deal if left untreated. The regimen of meds you were probably put on will be brutal especially if you have a sensitive stomach, hang in there and push through and finish all the meds you were prescribed. Good luck.☺️
Hi! I don't remember B12 and vitamin D, but any will do as long as it's good potency. Right now I'm taking 5000IU of Vitamin D because we hardly get any sun, but depending on your location and how often you go out into the sun you may want to take less. Vitamin B12 I'm taking 500mcg(micrograms). And right now I'm not taking zinc as I'm taking magnesium instead, but back then I was taking zinc piccolinate 22mg and I got it off Amazon, it's in a brown bottle. Hope this helps!
Yeah Probio 7 did seem to have a soothing effect on my stomach. I'm not taking it anymore as I'm trying more natural probiotics like Kefir and Sourkrout .
@@Sjalal-un1og everything has good and bad reviews but you won't know for yourself until you try it. A lot of people don't take it for long enough or their complaints may be related to something else but they associate it to probio7. The again we're all different so some people may have different reactions to it. If you're unsure, it's always safe to try natural probiotics first. you'll have to make sure to eat them with every meal if possible, so have some Sourkrout on the side with every meal.
Thanks Carolina, interesting video - a recent test showed I had antibodies to H Pylori, which meant I have, or previously had H Pylori - before going on the triple medication you had, I wanted to check if I actually had H Pylori, so your tip about the Boots test kit is very useful - also the Probiotic7 looks good to repopulate my gut flora after the antibiotic
@@coachedby.karolina thank you. Just did an endoscopy. Waiting for Dr. to prescribe the antibiotics 😪 meanwhile keeping a healthy diet which like you my daughter has always eaten very healthy.
I just finished my antibiotics course, I cough very less but it can occur from time to time, does it mean my antibiotics failed to eradicate h pylori? Maybe it is due to the healing process of my esophagus?
Hi! How long do you believe you had it before you were diagnosed? I've had the symptoms for a long time (2-3 years), but only now has it gotten aggressive. Got myself checked also with a stool sample, and I indeed have it. 4 days into the treatment and I did start vomiting, but it felt relieving in a way.
I have H pylori, but I didn’t suffer from acid reflux, I only felt discomfort in my upper abdomen and also my stomach was making really loud noises as if I was hungry and i spend like almost a year thinking that it was just from stress but in the end I went to the doctor and took the breathing test and it turned out positive. Now I am only 2 day in taking antibiotics and I feel terrible to be honest; I have this metallic taste in my throat and mouth and my stomach hurts worse than before, but I am hoping it’ll go away after the third day like you said and I hope it goes away for good cuz I really don’t wish this on my worst enemy. Also thank you for doing this video, it made feel like I am not the only one 🥲
Thank you so much for sharing your story! 😃 I hope you get better soon because this thing can really ruin someone's life😞 wishing you all the best and I hope your side effects go away soon ❤️
Hello Zeina, are you feeling better now? The 3 antibiotics + proton pump inhibitor treatment may be prescribed for as much as 14 days to be effective. As this video intones, check in with a gastroenterologist to be sure.
@@bonster101I don’t wanna discourage anyone, but I went through 3 rounds of antibiotics and it’s still there, I heard it’s not easy to get rid of it, so after my last round of antibiotics I didn’t take the test again, so I am not sure if it’s gone or not tbh, but I am still having the same symptoms from before and now i am taking probiotics to improve my gut health.
What started for me, besides some gi discomfort at times, was when I would workout, anytime I would engage my core, it worsened my gi discomfort. Did you have similar issues
Karolina did you have to try multiple antibiotic regimens before one worked or did you get it on the first try with the amoxicillin clamytaricin and omerparazole? Also did you take probiotics during treatment or not til after you were finished with the meds?
Hi!! Thank you so much for this video! I have been paranoid of taking omeprazole because of the side effects and people saying you can’t stop taking it cold turkey. I just picked up my prescription and some probiotics (align) and I wanted to ask how you incorporated them with the medicine. I have the same pills you were prescribed. How was your regimen? Like schedule for taking them.. food and no food etc. please help! Thank you!!!!!
I'm glad this was useful to you! 😃 Well, just take them as your doctor said. I can't exactly remember how often I had to take them but everyone gets a different prescription anyway, so make sure you check with you doctor. I think I took mine in the morning but it was 4 months ago so I can't exactly recall. Just make sure to ask your doctor exactly how he want you to take them, and it should also say on the leaflet if you can take them with food or not because I honestly cannot remember 😊
Hey Cass did you take your ppi? Im afraod to take that ppi too. I was looking for more natural approach than taking it. My doctor said i could just take it for 7 days once a day out of the 14 days but... Idk.
Usually you drink omeprazole one hour before drinking the antibiotics the reason for this being that antibiotics don’t work really well in the stomach due to the acids on it that’s why they give you the ppis . I have finished my triple Teraphy like a month ago I still get the stomach bloating and upper gastric pain but a lot less than before .
Been 2 months diagnosed with H pylori through endoscopy . My symptoms were heartburn acidity and bloating and indigestion, after bloating sharp heartburn occurs. Took antibiotics for 28days. Now again heartburn is the issue I contacted my Dr he advised me to take Digeraft Suspension for 2 weeks after food. What should I do? Will this bacteria be cured anyway?
I would try an elimination diet to see if there are foods that cause your situation. So go back to basics, only meat, and then slowly start incorporating other foods like eggs, milk, berries. Doctors try their best with the knowledge they have, but oftentimes they overlook the simplest yet most effective solution to many of people's problems which is diet. I hope you manage to get this thing cured.
Are you okay now.. I took antibiotics for 2 weeks but h pylori did not cure.. And my doctor give me another 2 weeks of antibiotic and then take digeraft syrup
i have it positive since 3 years but just first dose made me feel im gonna retire from life, i instantly got all dry throbbing all over n hard heartbeat, dizziness and diarrhea .......so my doc told me to stop but ive gotten worse with everything including anemia ....how do i get it fixed i asked doc but he said these are only meds to cure it but u cant so u gotta get strong for em ,but theres no sign of me getting any better....
I finally got tested after 4 years and came out positive I’m on medication and let me tell you the first day was the hardest I felt like I was going to die But I started taking the acid blockers first and then eat and then take the antibiotics and I’ve seen that it helped a lot with the symptoms also greasy food or salty food high acidic food I noticed will make symptoms worse
Hi Karolina, I have been on meds since 2 months. Last month, I was diagnosed with h.pylori and already completed the triple therapy but symptoms are not going away. I have simmering pain in my abdomen . Please suggest some natural ways to drain off this bacteria.
Hello! I'm sorry you're having to go through this but hopefully soon you'll get better 🤞 you should try to eat a lot of natural probiotics so things like cabbage, fermented cabbage and it's juice, celery juice, coconut, cranberries or cranberry juice, garlic, turmeric, cinamon, broccoli and broccoli sprouts, berries. These are all the foods that will help your gut heal. Try to have 2-3 of those different foods a day with other foods like healthy fats from avocado and complex grains like buckwheat etc. This is just a suggestion, I'm not a doctor, I'm just talking from experience and from what I've read. But I hope this helps 😃
@Karolina Bozena thanks a lot Karolina. I am trying different probiotics and probiotics too. Does curd fit into this? I will definitely try cabbage and other related stuff you have just suggested. How long will it takes to get ameliorate? I was into fitness and stuff but now off to exercise routine. 😭
@@maynk006 yes, I would also agree that probiotics in the form of a pill are certainly good to take when you're on medication as well as after you finish taking your meds. For me after I finished my course of antibiotics which was two weeks, I started feeling better. I was still eating the things I've mentioned above and making sure my diet was full of probiotics and as gut-friendly as possible for about two to three months after my medication course. Now I am a bit more relaxed with my diet but I still stick to eating plenty of greens and probiotic foods. The gut is something we have to take care of long-term so there are no quick fixes, it all takes time but it is worth it in the long-term. As to fitness, I would still continue exercising, just adapt your exercise routine to your situation. So if you feel that you can't do heavy deadlifts today, for example, try something more relaxing that will not stress your body out. Heavy lifting can cause physical and emotional stress so be careful because stress is one of the contributing causes of h. Pylori. You could try walking, swimming or a more relaxed style of exercise in the meantime 👍
@@coachedby.karolina wowww..nobody can explains in such a better way, not even a doctor. 😸 I will try running and pushups as for now. It all started after I recovered from Covid and till date I still face this simmering pain every now then. Maybe stress is one of the factors.
My symptoms were chest pain and crazy fast heart beat and some constipation and couldn’t eat and mild acid reflux but i had acid reflux like as long as i can remember so i just didn’t put two in two but my fast heart rate was the reason i went diabolical and visited many doctors
my blood test results showed that I have H pylori infection and my doctor told me not to do anything about it :/// he said everybody has it and not do the treatment :/ I'm getting second opinion soon. not excited about antibiotic treatment at all but I know that h pylori can cause many problems later
Hey! Yes, I'm great now- never been better actually! I think it was a matter of stopping my contraceptive pill and finding balance in my diet and lifestyle. I drink coffee now and don't have reflux anymore; of course I don't overdo it as I find that one cup in the morning is perfect for me. It was a process that took time, but the main thing is finding balance and what works for you.
@@coachedby.karolina thank u for ur reply. However few questions if u dnt mind. I am on my triple therapy n lot of constipation n dizziness, is it normal? Even the reflux has not gone fully , day 7
@@sugandhadogra1781 hmm... I don't think the dizziness and constipation is normal. I would speak to your doctor about this, maybe you're not on the right medication or there's some interference. Reflux will take a while to go away and you may still have it sporadically even after your therapy. The best solution for reflux is definitely keeping an active lifestyle and eating a healthy diet (this doesn't mean restricting your favourite foods, simply means limiting the foods that trigger your reflux and keeping them to a minimum). I hope this helps!

Hi Karolina! This is such an informative video. I was initially misdiagnosed and treated for anxiety. Love that there was a video out there that explains the problems and solutions for people with H Pylori. One thing if I could ask, is it fine to take vitamin D supplements while undergoing H Pylori treatment? Like is there any possible interaction that you faced which led to side effects?

Hello! My pleasure! For me, the reflux was only a once a month thing, but after I finished my antibiotics I had no more episodes of reflux. I ate fish, beans, lentils, veggies as well as fruit. I know that with reflux, your stomach acid is often lower than it should be, so lot of people recommend eating citrus fruit. If that doesn't set your reflux off then that's fine. Personally for me I avoided eating a lot of citrus fruit because it left an unpleasant acidic taste in the back of my throat. Also, I would think that acid reflux which is caused by h. Pylori is slightly different in nature to any regular acid reflux, it's a shame doctors often say that even if you cure h.pylori the reflux might not go away because it's probably unrelated. Funny enough, for me once my pylori was treated I no longer had reflux. So perhaps it's just correlation, but clearly more research is needed. I will be posting more recipe videos soon that helped me with my h. Pylori and acid reflux, so if you have anything that has helped you out let me know, I will include it 😃

I made a video all about that, it's the latest video on my channel. But if you don't want to watch that just shoot me some questions and I'll answer 😃❤️
@@coachedby.karolina thank you so much for this one. All my symptoms kinda subside but the only problem was every time I wake up my stomach really hurts so bad. I’ve been viewing your videos for a while now. You’ve been a great help! 🥰
@@iyapicazo hmmm it might be related to the antibiotics but I am not 100% sure 🤔 I think the best thing to do is when you finish your antibiotics and the pain still persists talk to your doctor, or if it's been going on for all the 12 days you've been taking the antibiotics also call up your doctor and tell them that you're worried and that you would like some advice. One question from me is are you drinking coffee now? The thing with antibiotics is they can throw your gut bacteria out of balance and so you might not be digesting food the way you did before. The best thing to do is to avoid inflammatory foods and drink like sugar and coffee. Hope this helps a little ❤️
It was hard but I tried to rationalise it all as well as I tried to take out as many stressful things out of my life as I could. It didn't work perfectly and it's probably better to get professional help for it, as in talk to someone about your feelings. Hope this helps 😃

You can still drink coffee if it doesn't bother your stomach, just drink it in small quantities, so one cup a day. You can't simply ask your doctor to repeat meds for you but you can ask him to check if h pylori has returned, so they would have to do another test and then they would prescribe you something. You can eat bread. Again, you have to see what works for you and what doesn't 👍

@@Whocares999 I had my treatment back in December 2020 so I'm not sure if this could be related. Regardless, I will be seeing my doctor and get as many tests done as possible. But now that I'm going through this, it's like a lightning strike has hit me and I've realized that regardless of how much is going on in your life, your health should be your priority. What is the point of doing anything if you feel unwell all the time? I've always tried to be as healthy as possible and just like everyone I have days where I eat less healthy foods. Very first night's sleep on my new meds and I noticed less stomach pain already. They say to retest 4 weeks after you finish your meds. I'm hopeful to make a recovery. @@robertmcshane1038 if you start feeling unwell after a month or so you should certainly retest. hi! does it also apply when you do it with endoscopy ?
4 weeks off Nexium and other ppi's. Also other medicines can interfere with test results. Poo tests are the most accurate.
H. pylori is not a good disease at all.

Did you start the treatment?
@@vincentvega3747 yes, I did my treatment in December.
Any neurological symptoms? Pins and needles, back pain, neck pain?

I had it 5 years ago and got rid of it with the antibiotics. A year ago all my symptoms came back. Now I’m going through lots of more testing.

@@maynk006 yes I think curd is fine as well as kefir or yogurt (natural yogurt), they all contain some form of probiotics.

Hey how r u doing now ? Can u eat everything now like can u consume tea n coffee atleast? Also how much time does it take for reflux to go ?

Hi Karolina! This is such an informative video. I was initially misdiagnosed and treated for anxiety. Love that there was a video out there that explains the problems and solutions for people with H Pylori. @@bhavnasultana hello again 😃 well, it depends on your body I would think.

I'm sorry you're going through this 😞 I would have to know a bit more about your situation to give you some advice and also the advice I can give is just that- advice. I'm not medically trained to prescribe anything. Tell me more about your situation and I'll do my best to give you some useful advice 😃
@Vinoth Raina, are you better now?
@@coachedby.karolinahey
Great video. I'm dealing with something similar. BTW, most acid reflux is caused by low stomach acid. If one does not have enough acid a valve in esophagus won't close. Sometimes what one needs is more stomach acid. Betaine HCL helps my indigestion. Thanks for the helpful video.
Thank you so much for sharing this helpful information!😃 I hope you manage to heal your h. Pylori 😃
@@coachedby.karolina do you completely heal yours, I finish my treatment for two months but I steal have some acid reflux that cause me bad breath. Do you completely heal it? If yes how long it takes you? Thank you
@@tidiohaidara8925 yes I have healed a month after taking antibiotics. If you still have symptoms you should speak to your doctor about them to get rid of this thing x
I cant take hcl it hurts more stomach
@Bassline Rally yes I agree, there is more than one cause of h. Pylori 💯
Im suffering from 6months my first doctor gave me incomplete treatment now iam having 15 days treatment and my body react every time i eat bloated and discomfort and diarrhea sometimes
And i have very less option to eat can someone tell me what to eat
Thanks very much for this video. Did you get rid of reflux after treatment?
Yes, I got rid of my reflux completely. Right now though I'm having some sort of stomach bug or virus and I need to figure out if it's related to this or not. I seem to be having digestion issues all the time so I need to get to the bottom of this 🤞
@@coachedby.karolina how long have you had it for?did it start right after the treatment? do you think it might be because of the antibiotics?Maybe it's nothing too serious, remember stress makes everything worse so we need to be careful with that.Fingers crossed it's nothing serious. I'm starting my treatment this week. Same as you except for omeprazol which I can't take due to side effects so I have to take famotidine instead.. I hope it's as useful as omeprazol, apparently the point is reducing acid in the stomach so the antibiotics can reach the bacteria or something like that.
@@Whocares999 I had my treatment back in December 2020 so I'm not sure if this could be related. Regardless, I will be seeing my doctor and get as many tests done as possible. This could be a totally unrelated virus which can be made worse if I still have h. Pylori in my gut. See, I'm not sure if I got clear the first time and what I'm going through right now is absolutely diabolical. Could be totally unrelated though but I will keep you updated on this whole situation. In fact, it's so bad right now that it's 1am where I live and I'm on the toilet for the 15th time today. With Covid and everything it's super hard to get appointments but if I don't get better by Wednesday I'm going to go to the emergency room. Please make sure you get this thing treated ASAP and make sure to ask your doctor for a test a few weeks after your antibiotics to make sure it's completely gone. I don't want you to have to have other unnecessary stomach issues that could be avoided with proper treatment. I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞
@@coachedby.karolina I'm so sorry you are going through that hell. When the gut is not good, nothing is good in life. It's so unfair you have to go through that, I checked some of your other videos and you seem to be one of the healthiest people I've seen in my life. To end the uncertainty you should really get one of those H pylori tests you can do at home so at least you know what to do after you find out. I've had it for a year now and the doctors had no idea what it was until recently that they discovered it by coincidence almost after an upper endoscopy. In my case I even had panic attacks, high blood pressure, etc, I'm much better after I started a diet etc but as you mention on the video sometimes you don't even know what to eat becauseit seems healthy diet makes it worse at times. I really need to get rid of this thing.I'll definitely keep you posted. It's good to talk to people who understand what this is like, for peace of mind, specially after going for so long being misdiagnosed or disregarded. Are you on insta?
@@Whocares999 thank you so much! It really is a blessing being able to connect with people that understand what you're going through. I actually did two h. Pylori tests about two weeks ago and one was positive the other one invalid. I haven't done anything with it because it always feels like there's more important stuff to do in life. It's just so frustrating, like you said, when we try our best to follow a good diet to at least relieve out symptoms but nothing seems to work. I'm glad that you eventually got diagnosed, I know how frustrating it is when you go to your doctor and you know there's something wrong but they tell you it's nothing major. I know they're only people too so I don't blame them, but that's also one of the reasons why I keep putting away going to my GP with my issues. I could ramble on forever, I'm just super exhausted right now from this virus or whatever it is that I have. I think I'm gonna go have a bowl of rice with banana as I read it helps with diarrhea and I can't sleep at all. Thank you so much for sharing you story with me. Yes, I have instagram, it's @karolsliwinska, message me there if you need anything or just want to chat😃

Hello😊 I was on amoxicillin, clarithromicin and omeprazole. I'm so sorry to hear you've had to go through all that to get diagnosed 😔 yes, those are all good foods to eat to help with h. Pylori as they all contain some form of probiotics. I would also recommend for you to take an oral probiotic with your antibiotics, as it'll help protect your gut flora from getting damaged by the antibiotics. I was taking one called probio7 (and I'm still taking it), I purchased it on Amazon. I'm glad you've got an answer finally 😃 please keep us updated on your antibiotics journey if you manage to get rid of it. Best of luck my friend 😊
Thank you 😊 .. n yes i take probiotic .. ill try the one you use
@@elijahlake lovely! 😊
Can i ask .. whats was your diet!?
@@elijahlake I was eating a lot of non-inflammatory foods, so a lot of dark green leafy veg such as kale, spinach and asparagus. I avoided acidic fruit completely, and ate a lot of bananas as they're quite mild. I basically avoided anything that gave me an acid reflux, so also no chocolate and things like that. Grains, veggies, beans and things like tofu and tempeh (but I'm vegan, and if you're not of course you can have some form of meat for protein). I can't say that I stuck to it 100% but I really tried as I didn't like getting acid reflux. I am now eating all those foods and haven't had an acid reflux since, so I think my h. pylori is mostly gone but I still try to stick to whole foods mainly so very few processed foods 😃
I’m so confused I’m on day 5 of taking antibiotics 3,040 mg per day I hate it. But my GI Medical assistant told me to take probiotic&ptebiotic after the treatment??? It’s soo hard I’m only eating toast and eggs and spinich sometimes for breakfast and then steamed veggies and soup.
Eat better food. Take your probiotics during and after treatment
@@coachedby.karolinaI’ve been taking natural probiotics not the pills. I managed to get rid of the HPylori and tested negative two weeks after completing the treatment. Still very conscious of what I put in my stomach tho sticking to my diet and ensuring I incorporate gut healthy food and drinks daily.
@@Flava4urneihbors that's good!
I have h pylori positive Antibiotics very bad for me please tell me about nachural treatment for kill this bacteria ....
I'm so sorry to hear that, but I am not qualified to give you advice on this topic. I would contact a naturopath. You can try to eat anti-inflammatory foods like ginger and turmeric but have a look how your body responds to those 😃
My pharmacist said to get with my doctor, cause they do have a natural remedy pill. But I will only try it if I can’t take these antibiotics, cause man I failed the second day. Got blurry vision and right foot swelled and my left throat swelled.
