@elevatewithkarolina I'm currenly on quadruple therapy for h. pylori...it's only my 2nd day. Your video is giving hope. a lot of ppl have trouble getting off of ppi. I pray no burning symptoms arise after my 14th day of therapy.
@zizibe218 so yes, I did triple therapy, and afterwards I decided to take my health into my own hand, sort out my nutrition and my physical activity. I think the biggest thing is not relying on antibiotics, antiacids etc, and certainly not believing doctors blindly when they tell us we'll struggle with this for the rest of our lives. I believe the best way to health and recovery is nourishing your body, and treating it like a temple. I hope this helps 💪
@@elevatewithkarolina I agree! I can't rely on ppi's forever. I ordered some slippery elm. hopefully that stuff works in case my symptoms come back.
The bar position shown prior to starting the lift is the low bar position. Most people are more comfortable doing high bar squats, as the bar sits nicely on the upper traps. A low bar position may cause that forward lean.

I just finished my antibiotics course, I cough very less but it can occur from time to time,does it mean my antibiotics failed to eradicate h pylori? Maybe it is due to the healing process of my esophagus?

I've been in a bit of that spiral as well. I have a ton of clarity, just getting the motor goinng is tough because day to day needs arent aligned. thats where enjoyinh yje "journey" is vital
@@OnyieOnyeabor007 thanks for sharing! It's so hard sometimes to live in the present moment, but I do catch myself fantasizing too much about the future, and then I end up doing nothing to get me there. Enjoying the journey is definitely key, but so hard to do sometimes.
@@elevatewithkarolinaI know right? That's something i've been noticing lately, but i have a question. Is enjoying ourselves supposed to be this hard? When i was a kid, i would say i was pretty miserable, but i still knew how to have fun, but now as an adult...it's been lost on me. What happened?
@OnyieOnyeabor007 I feel like with all the pain we go through in life (some of us from a very early age), we lose that innocence to enjoy experiences like little kids. It's hard to feel that way when your innocence is lost - we almost become cynical without knowing it. And so instead we have to consciously work to regain the possibility of experiencing things like a child, but that's so hard. I think acceptance is step one, and then learning how to have fun as the person you are now ☺️

I'm not a specialist in type 1 diabetes, but you should definitely eat enough calories to maintain your weight while making sure you're managing your blood sugar.

@@sona_ccc 1kg in one week will be hard. I would advise to eat anywhere from 3300-3500kcals per day.

Most people have H.Pylori and no symptoms, so just because you found that doesn't mean it is the cause of them unfortunately.
Indeed, there could be many underlying causes for h. Pylori.
I'm trying to gain weight. I'm 46.5 kg at 23 years. Please advise should I eat chocolate to gain fat. I've been trying to eat healthy and more calories but it's taking very slow process and I only gained 1 kg in 3 months. If I eat lots of chocolate with my extra food then I will I gain weight? Also what kg should I aim to be to be healthy?
You can aim for about 0.5kg per week so 2kg per months. 1kg per month isn't nothing (that is still 0.25kg per week) and slower weight gain can be better sometimes. It's all depends on your height, which I don't have here. Just drop it down below. Weight gain tends to be a slow process, but it's all about consistently eating above your maintenance calories (which I need your height to calculate it). Focus on eating high calorie foods, not necessarily junk, still focus on good nutritious foods, but add more oils like olive oil, snack on nuts and dried fruit, incorporate nit butters into your diet. That should help you keep your diet higher in calories ❤️

I recently lost weight ( was 48 kg) and lost a lot of my facial fat which is making me really insecure as I loved my chubby cheeks and now they all gone and I look so ugly. I had rounded cheeks and people called me a chipmunk cause when I smile my cheeks were very chubby but now I've got sunken cheeks and a shadow on the two sides of my face where cheeks are sunken and I have flat cheeks on side profile, I look very unhealthy and old. I desperately want to gain weight to get my facial fat back. I know this is a difficult question and everyone is different but how much kg do you think I should gain to get back my facial fat? I don't care even if I get fat at this point and start hating my body again as long as my face goes back to normal that's all I care about. Please advise.
@@Naruto9tailedfox I would advice for you to eat about 2200-2300kcals per day as you maintenance calories sit at around 1800. If you eat the above you should be gaining anything from 0.5-1kg per week, which is a healthy way to gain weight back on. Depending on what your weight was at the time when you had more facial fat, that's the weight you will have to get close to. I would say at about 52kg, your face will look fuller.

My symptoms were chest pain and crazy fast heart beat and some constipation and couldn’t eat and mild acid reflux but i had acid reflux like as long as i can remember so i just didn’t put two in two but my fast heart rate was the reason i went diabolical and visited many doctors

@@Nanno843 make sure you know how much you want to gain in what space of time to figure out how much more you need to eat. Once you know this focus on getting your calories from whole foods that will fuel your body. Definitely high calorie foods will help, like peanut butter, snacking on nuts etc. 😃

Sorry to hear that. But there are other cheaper tests that you can do like the breath test and a stool sample.

Been 2 months diagnosed with H pylori through endoscopy . My symptoms were heartburn acidity and bloating and indigestion, after bloating sharp heartburn occurs. Took antibiotics for 28days. Now again heartburn is the issue I contacted my Dr he advised me to take Digeraft Suspension for 2 weeks after food. What should I do? Will this bacteria be cured anyway?
I would try an elimination diet to see if there are foods that cause your situation. So go back to basics, only meat, and then slowly start incorporating other foods like eggs, milk, berries. Doctors try their best with the knowledge they have, but oftentimes they overlook the simplest yet most effective solution to many of people's problems which is diet. I hope you manage to get this thing cured.

H. pylori is not a good disease at all. It doesn't just cause problems in our stomach, but it can also lead to anxiety and depression. This happens because our stomach is directly connected to the brain. Our gut produces hormones like serotonin, and as long as it's being released properly, we'll continue to feel good. H. pylori can disrupt this balance, leading to anxiety and depression. It's definitely not a good condition to have.

This is me - all summer, since I had a hysterectomy on 6/2 where I lost a lot of blood. Here I am in October, taking 5 weeks of iron infusions, still trying to recover. Amazing how similar our stories are…

I really said “oh I like ab work” when the video started, then proceeded to cry. lol just kidding, but my hips were struggling with the straight leg movements after yesterdays challenge.
😅 I'm glad it wasn't that bad. That often tends to happen, hip flexors give in before your abs. But hey that's the way to get all the muscles stronger 💪
you look great! what worked for me is finding a routine that become an habit, also nutritionally for me buying some machines helped me a lot, like a ninja Creami, i love doing protein icecrem every day, so nutritionally if you can buy something of daily use that will help you make more easly a meal that's deliscios, i think it's worth the cost, like also an air frier. Don't put on yourserlf too much pressure, lower your expectations but try your best, it's anyway more important how you feel instead of how you look. You sound smart, i'm sure you'll figure everything out with yourself over time 💪

I just was diagnosed with H. Pylori and was giving the 3 meds treatment. What do I do if my body reject the medication. I started vomiting the meds back up. I just want to feel better.
@@Cgibbsmadeit you'd have to go see your GP, he may be able to prescribe you different drugs. But I definitely wouldn't sit around and wait, have an emergency appointment because it's either the meds or maybe there is something else happening. Always best to speak to your practitioner.
