Wavy Immelman hosts a 10-week series of free lectures, introducing sailing instruction for beginners learning to sail, or thinking of getting into sailing. Originally for the crew of the Clipper Round the world race, this series of sailing lectures is a free sailing course introduction to anyone wanting to become a more competent sailor, perhaps before starting out on a qualification such as the RYA day Skipper.
Who is Wavy?
Wavy Immelman is an experienced RYA instructor with more than 500,000miles of Ocean sailing and Racing experience. He was a skipper on the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. He instructs day skipper, yachtmaster including celestial navigation and has been sailing for more than 30 years!

After many years of teaching and sailing professionally, we created Wavysail so we could bring adventure sailing and high-quality training to more people - We run online courses over Zoom for small groups which are highly personalised, interactive, and fun.
