Wavysail and Expedition Zero are planning an expedition through the Northwest Passage. This sailing adventure will be aboard the worlds first truly sustainable adventure sailing yacht - now under construction in France.
We have just six places available and crew will be fully involved as we build the yacht, put it through sea trials and then train together to tackle the greatest sea passage in 2026

Interesting, I'm now studying these notions in english language and In the beginning I got confused about "tide" term because tide is also high tide and low tide, which don't alter the boat course direction. Thank you for all these well done explanations.

About to do my Day Skipper, your video series has been hugely helpful, I like the way you explain the content and slides also really help! However, got confused in this video? If 1 Nautical Mile is equal to 1,852 meters, and there are 10 Cables in 1 Nautical Mile, then surely 1 Cable is equivalent to 185.2 meters? But in your video you state 1 Cable is equal to 18.52 meters, which would mean there would be 100 Cables in a Nautical Mile??

I'd love to watch the entire series .. I've been building my boat for 10 years, almost ready to launch. Have sailed some on my friends 55 foot, also a 36 foot, but no solo sailing.

Thank you - we're working on more training (shorter 'bite-size' versions) as well as putting together some of our actual sailing (currently we're en route from Cape town to Zanzibar) so expect more to come !
