It is very exciting watching you exploring new things and trying the best you can for a new building. I have watched most of your Single Player Seasons and, of course, many things repeat itself because a new MC version does not really mean that they are new world changing things happening. This is the first truly really new and for you a challenging thing to do. Keep it up! Loving it so far. And dont forget, it is your base, you can do whatever you want.
I think it eating the refind storage would be beneficial for him at that point because he's using about 1000 RF/T to run that wireless system+quarry at the same time and he is only producing 500 RF/T xD
First, double check your windows. Some are misplaced. Second, consider flattening a bit of the top of the pyramid and putting the Astral Sorcery crafting up there.
A lots of people said that Dire did an awful job on building that structure.... But I actually like that pyramid. It's pretty much 9*9ed, but it's quite fresh and organized I think...? I dunno I think he must have prepared that idea for a long time... (I'm not good at building though :P)

Causing it frequently to end up in a chest or storage system. And its a ring. A trinket, it SHOULD be stored in a baubles slot. Its the very embodiment of something that the bauble slots were made for... Its probably a config somewhere.
Basement idea: make the pyramid shape continue underground (so the basement will be massive) and then on the surface, fill in the area above the underground portion of the pyramid with water like a moat around the base. Then add bridges to the doors of your choosing. That would be badass.
Being such a huge stargate fan, I wish dire added stargate mod to his modpacks. This base would be perfect for having a stargate in the center. BTW the sandstone chisel has hieroglyphs, so dire should put some hieroglyphs around his pyramid for a cool effect

You should make a satchel or a bag where you put all your special item, like mining bag, upgrade for drill, tome of knolwedge, etc etc, so you don't have to go each time back to your base to have what you need :)
all you need to store XP is the book and a tank (because the book fills up after a while). to fill or empty the book into the tank, just right click. to actually use the XP, you need an arcane ensorcellator. just empty your book into the tank and use it to make enchants. then, to apply the enchants on an anvil, fill the book from the ensorcellator tank, since it's only 10 buckets (instead of filling the whole book).
Guys come on, give poor old dire some slack. Building isn't his expertise, and he keeps saying that whenever you guys request him to make a fancier base, but then you complain about it when it doesn't suit your likings. He's trying, and it's looking very promising. If you're reading this dire, I'd suggest something more on the outside to make the pyramid a little more ridgit, but that's optional. Don't listen to these people, your pyramid is great!
you've got the right idea for the windows but there are too many that simply break the walls up. I suggest moving them up a block and towards the center of each wall by two-three blocks. At this point your 'base' is obscured by the 'accent' block/window. Use detail sparingly but keep on keeping on my wolf dude :)

Further they had these beautiful polished stone side pieces that filled in perfectly of another stone type, making it even more impressive. Sure, you could stop at steps, but maybe at least better looking steps?
Dire until you get the angle ring or wings of the bat you could try the old IC2 electric jetpack. The hover mode no longer loses hight and it is a pretty good alternative early on.
actually additions experience solidifier is pretty great. it creates those lil item xp cubes you get from killing mobs sometimes, and then you can pipe them out into a drawer. access to xp via your refined storage system
Please do the very tip of the pyramid also with a transparent / golden block as well! Looking good so far! Also would be interesting to see, how it would look with 3 layers of glwoing glass down from the tip.
Dire I suggest synchronizing with Evorsio in Astral Sorcery. It give the ability to use your Pickaxe as a Shovel and a wood Axe. And has Mining speed boosting abilities and Damage boosts.
the squid ring not working in the Nether could be caused by your GP generating chunks not being chunk loaded (the new update seems to require you to re-chunkload often)
Dire I love that pyramid. You should get some gold or something and do accents up the corners or on the top, and perhaps a beacon to make it awesome in the future.

Actually Additions has an Experiance box. It will collect orbs and condense them into xp balls. And you can use its interface to transfer your xp into balls. It's a little clunkier than the ender i/o option, but that's unavailable. Takes some empowered diamantine, but that's no thing right now.
Dire, why don't you use rice soup for food? it's way better than bread. Or even use vegetable soup, just carrot, potato, mushroom, and stock which is 1 carrot for 2 stock. and it gives 4 normal hunger and 8.5 yellow hunger thing (it gives you a long time of regenerating).
I just use the toast from Pam's. It's just bread and bakeware in a normal crafting grid, it heals 8 hunger (four shanks) and I think complete saturation (yellow shank overlay)
Dire pleas move your remote link out of quarry area. Not sure if the quarry will get it but better safe than sorry. Especially when you are considering the voiding one.
You know Actually Additions has an EXP collector and I think he needs to move the gateways closer to both bases. (just does not make sense to bounce that distance if you are going from base to base) (IMHO)
When completed, the ancient pyramids were covered in slanted blocks of marble, and the very top was plated in gold and encrusted in gems. are you going to do the same?
Actually, the casing stones of the pyramids were limestone, not marble. And the pyramidia (capstones) were typically diorite, granite, or limestone with gold or electrum leaf during the Old Kingdom, from the Middle Kingdom until the end of the pyramid-building era, they were plain granite, inscribed with royal titles and religious symbols.
You really should do your inside walls with other material, (nether bricks, stone bricks or polished andesite are favourite of mine with sandstone). Also, double your ground floor and place redstone lamps or lamps from actually addition on ground, they look nicer than glowstone. But I really enjoy you trying to do something nice looking, and please, do not do direwiring on your cave, make those wires straight through walls.

The red bits on the squid ring bar are just because it's the texture for the horse jump meter, which has those as the "best possible jump" area.

You could also use sneaky torches to make lit floors looking like whatever you want

This. Another option would be to use Blockcraftery (which is in the pack) to make the sides totally smooth like the originals.

There is a mod to fix that baubles problem with angel ring. It also might work on other rings from extra utilities, but I'm not sure.
I think it would look really cool if you had matter transceiver/ transmitter in the center of the building going out through the top.

You could use the illumation powder from Astral sorcery for lighting the basement
i know this is a bit late but i solved the enderman going outside. Show the spawn area of the spawner then go outside you'd see how they get outside.
Also you can put the angel ring in your player crafting table to turn it I to a bauble I don't know if it also works for the squid ring but it's worth a shot

mob grinding util's singularity tanks are cheaper and easier and you can store the excess in a massive drum
Ooo.. I think the tome of knowledge holds 10,000 LEVELS worth of exp.. but uses the same amount of xp for the first level up. But I could be wrong.
10,000 XP is about roughly 60 levels I believe, if I remember correctly.
