One of the best known uses of elderflowers is for a elderflower champagne, I think an even better use of this wonderful free resource is to make this simple yet wonderfully elegant elderflower and rose syrup which has lots of uses from adding to wine, drizzling over cakes, or making an indulgent sorbet.

Most people use elderflowers for cordial I turn mine into something more exotic
