    I am a service connected disabled veteran from Missouri. I am heading to the Destin Army Recreation Center for the month of January and due to issues with my feet and knees will be fishing mostly from the pier. I am trying to learn about fishing for flounder because I have been told that they like piers.
    Thanks for the info.

    • @southernsalt
      @southernsalt  Рік тому

      Just being honest with you but unfortunately the flounder move offshore in the winter and the likelihood of catching one is pretty low. Most of the piers are pretty dead until early March when the water warms up.

    Awesome video man! I’m glad to see how you work the lure. I’ve been fishing mine much slower, good to see you can work it back fast also!

    • @southernsalt
      @southernsalt  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah on this day they wanted a faster twitch. I normally work my lures at different speeds until I dial in what the fish want.

    Brother you was catching up founders. You definitely showed us how it's supposed to be done. Definitely a good day. Happy Memorial holiday to you and your family brother. I hope you had a good one. I really didn't do much. Me and my son got really sunburned pretty bad last Sunday & doctor said we got some poisoning on her arms and feet. It hurt really bad man I feel like I got gout in my foot. Anything that touch my foot hurts and carrying anything heavy on the arms hurt and my son is the same way. We can kayak for two weeks. Wear plenty of sunblock Brothers I hate to see you get burnt like we did. Be safe out there brother.

    Just recently subscribed to your channel and I’ve really enjoyed looking back at your videos. Flounder fishing is something I enjoy doing and really enjoyed this video. Those jokers have a tough mouth and in my experience you gotta drive that hook home in those tough mouths they have. Might be the reason you lost a few of those. Really enjoyed this one and keep them coming
