I got to be the Firewood Fairy back in February this year during Southeastern Kentucky's ice and snow storm. Electricity was out couple of days and neighbor with 5 kids was out of wood except for a stack of frozen oak slabs. I was blessed with plenty of wood myself last year so was able to give him some seasoned Black Locust rounds that only needed split then fired up the saw and cut frozen slabs. Got him through till he got a load delivered from a local seller. Felt good to help and give back. He'd recently given me a 15lb frozen turkey and a small box of frozen Salmon filets to make room in his freezer. I admire your "Be Kind" motto and hope more people take it to heart.

Buckin my friend you are so privileged to still have both your mother and grandmother. They are such awesome people and in my experience it's uncommon to have both at your age. I lost my grandmother when I was young and just lost my mother 9/15/2020 so please give both your mother and grandmother a hug for me every chance you get as they are very special people ❤. Love the handy hank. Showed my daughter that when she was 4. She's now 25 and agrees that it is one of the best things ever as long as no one is looking!
One thing that helped me swing an axe more accurately was putting my dominant hand on the bottom of axe handle (closest towards you). I see most right handed people do it with the left hand on the bottom, but for me it greatly improved my axe swinging to do the opposite (I notice bearclaw swings this way too)! Thanks buckin. This will be my 3rd season harvesting firewood and your videos on watching the crown, falling, sharpening chain were the only ones that made sense to me back then.
