"Badger" O'Brien, who shares the family name with this great Irish singer Paddy O'Brien here, but I guess they are not related at all. The original version of this song was done by the one and only Red Steagall. You can find it on Red´s Warner Western CD "Dear Mama, I´m A Cowboy" from 1999.
