I’ve been in RC for over 20 years and have to say the Losi SBR 1/6 is a game changer. It’s in a league of its own not just because of its scale. They are incredibly realistic and to scale. I’ve owned mine for about three months and can relate to all the great things you said about the truck! Liked and subscribed!
I absolutely agree with you on your point about it's not all about doing jumps and flips... just driving it, especially this,is just as awesome! Looks like a real desert truck the way it races down the road...
Yeah, i totally agree. Had mine for a couple years now (about 150 runs) and it's still one of my all-time favorite RC's. I only wish it had more run time. I don't want the fun to end. Never touched any settings on the transmitter. Fun!!
The feelings you have in this video is how I felt after getting my Mojave 4s completely different from just bashing and flipping. Felt so much more realistic. Nothing like what I could imagine driving that feels like but no budget for the losi monster. Love it man. Love the passion and feel. Can relate!
I'm so tempted to get one... can't decide between this or a Traxxas UDR...I really love the scale driving and looks of yours! Awesome video I live in Cape Town, South Africa... will be pricey to get it here but oh so worth it!
If you love scale driving, the SBR is the way to go! I own it and can’t stop driving it! And it’s got all the scale parts that you can paint and detail. Even the official BF tires! Good luck!
@@dewdropper3614thanks for your information, appreciate it the decals lifting off the bodywork, the battery compartment cover that is hard to remove after running in sand and the rear flexing under jumping are minor issues that can be rectified in my opinion.
Both are great. My vote’s for UDR because the rear sway is more realistic, and the spare driveshaft is real. The aftermarket has more/cheaper parts and more than all that the brakes work better out of the box. Pretty small margins of difference - neither truck is a bad choice 👏👏
@@orbitaljellyfish808 udr #1 is smaller #2 breaks easy as there’s tiny parts #3 way slower #4 the fact that you need a spare drive shaft 🤦🏽🤦🏽 losi ones are beefy like a hot dog
The DBXLE is also like wow! High quality. Just looking at it is awesome. I smile and say my god everytime i walk by it. The XRT is my next favorite and SBR. Nothing else needed.....almost. 🙂 The boack rhino is half the price and a very similar experience. Little rocket. Point and shoot. Long travel. Awesome.
Hey there Mike enjoying the channel. It’s great content. Man I was always thinking about getting one these and your video has sold me on one. I love scale realistic rc trucks and how they drive this thing looks awesome standing still or ripping threw the field. I’ve got a 20% off coupon at Tower so that will save me some cash on it but I’d provably buy this full priced anyways!
Its true, this truck is so much fun. If you have xmaxx and the like, next you need one of these. Seriously. The way it handles and the speed is awesome.. I have all the best trucks and this is a must have. If you dont want to spend this much money look at the baja rey and the Baja rey 2.0. i have them all.
Recently got one, upgrading it now. GPM diff cases front, center and rear. GPM aluminum front gearbox. Kebeilee aluminum transmission housing. Running Arrma backflip 6s tires. Things is a beast of a rig and deserves lots of upgrades! Hopefully it’s bulletproof after all this🤞
Watching your video is inspiring me to run mine. haven't ran it yet, because it's to pretty, but I'm going to need to make a run video for the channel with it soon. Thank you.
LOL your excitement stole the show haha good to hear bud, Losi makes some good quality, scale stuff that holds up. I've wanted that one for a while. I think my next Losi will be the dirt bike unless the RZR Rey goes on sale any time soon. I used to have a bunch of Losi, good then but better now!
Which one do you like better dB XLE 2.0 or that yellow truck... I have the dBXLE 2.0 I was thinking about getting a second one. Which one do you think?.. The super ray the one you have or should I get a second dbxle? Please help.
Love driving this thing, I sent some long jumps and broke a part and ripped the front bumper rubber, instantly regretted it. The truck is so cool to look at. I do think changing the shock oil makes driving this even more enjoyable. I didn't do too much except shock oil and removed rear tires for the weight to absorb some longer fast jumps better and it definitely made a huge difference.
Yea I put an 1100kv motor in mine a week ago and geared it all the way down went from 46-53 in a pretty thick grass field, but I did the motor to bash on 6s and then speed runs on 8s
Nice! I'll probably leave her stock for awhile but some day I'll end up messing with it. Can't help myself. I've only ran 8 so far. Have to give 6s a shot soon. But definitely one I'll never sell. Thats for sure.
Damnit, as soon as i decide i dont want something, a video of it pops up lol. That's my style of driving too, i dont bash my stuff, i have to deal with and work too hard for these items.
Lol dude this thing is awesome. Had way more fun just driving this than bashing anything else. And I hear ya! I'd hate to add up what I've spent in this hobby ha
Check out the new Baja Rey 2.0 in the Isenhouer Brothers Heatwave livery. The scale realism is just as good as the big brother. Just like this one they are almost too nice to drive but once you do drive them and get them dirty I agree they do look great.
Bro I'm on the list to be notified when it's back in stock. It's definitely my next purchase. The raptor is in stock but I'd rather wait for thr heat wave. Looks amazing!
@@SketchRC- I bought the first Isenhouer Brothers I could find. It is just too sweet and I haven't been able to bring myself to run it yet.
