Omg! Making "sofubi" at home😱 i have always wanted to see a sofubi inspired Archer from Small Soldiers..would be such an amazing clash of japanese and american culture
Your content is easily my favorite on youtube. I've always been a collector but you've inspired me to take a stab at making my own sofubi/resin figures. Great stuff!
Theooo, this is so cool! 2025 is going to be such a magical year for you, I just know it. Also that ending was so cute, I've got to get one of those tiny tv's!
As always, great video and very exciting. You really are living the dream, and a person at a level to aspire to get on. Cant wait to get my hands on one of your pieces one day!
These videos are great, recently subscribed but amazing channel. DIY sofubi is amazing. I have a small collection of sofubi kamen rider, ultraman, and godzilla. I need to get this resin for my brother lol. have him start making me stuf
Really cool. I've heard of Resione before from a youtube channel who was blending it with other stuff to make action figures. For me it seems like It would be economical to use it primarily for joints that can then pop into other parts printed in ABS-Like resin parts. Something I'll need to consider when I get to that point. The black stuff seems like it might be a good option for replacing perished rubber parts on vintage toys like hoses, tyes, bellows, etc. Actually..... it occurs to me that maybe Resione would be a good fit for a wire armature style stop motion figure.. you would need to find a way to insert the wire after the fact but you can sculpt a channel for the wire straight into the model then assemble the arms etc onto the body. Hmmmm.
Good lord that soft resin looks good, now I *really* wanna get me a resin printer, cause that stuff can be used for things now :) Just gonna have to save up for a proper camera for my channel first … or win the lottery - and Kari’s channel is *gold*, lots of fun angles on things, and those «type in code from magazines» segments, that was my childhood right there trying to type in the computer code from mad magazine .. which had an error in the code in the mag, so many hours wasted trying to get alfred e neumans face on my c64 …
So I do stop motion animation with figures I create and 3d print. What I do is I use fdm printers and I use pla for rigid pieces but for joints I use tpu as an insert like a polycap in a gundam kit. It keeps the joints nice and tight while allowing for alot of range
Well, shiiiiiizzzzz.......I gotta get some of this resin now. Because I'd love to make some stuff like this. And I've definitely gotta teach myself to do the digital sculpting to make it work. Thanks for sharing this. I went and followed Shinmaru on IG as well.
in the future, would it be possible to produce some sort of combiner/chimera figure using bits and bobs from your past 3D printed projects? I just think it would make for a fun video. I've also been wondering, can you recycle all those runners and scraps from past prints?
did I miss a video or is this the first time you've showcased those keshi renditions of ROM and Inframan? I definitely remember the Guyver Gang, but you really caught me by surprise with Inframan especially.
Another cracking video mate and that flexiable resin looks great, I wonder if you could mix it with other resins to achieve colours, or effects, also keep the cost down.
To have a m.u.s.c.l.e. style rom figure would be awesome haha honestly I’d have 2 one for my collection and one to take with me, be a little exploring buddy haha Cool video as always can’t wait for the next one. Since you turgore!! I’m super hyped. Hoping I can get a figure when they next drop

I would actually like a whole video dedicated to articulation, and seeing you experiment with different types in your figures.
