When you get excited you REALLY get excited, but i imagine designing printing and flying is like that, particularly with such good first time performance. Alright i have two on my list now when i can, the F-22 and the SR-71 lol
IRT why your model flies so well in addition to the light loaded wing airfoil is another design absence of the turbine inlet spikes. They of course would create a lot of drag. Profile 2-dimsional X-shaped spikes might be nice in flight for the real scale enthusiasts. Display only spikes would be a good addition to the 3D print files. The lack of cheater vents helps too. The actual SR-71 had inlet vanes on the nacelles. If your inlets are sufficient for the 40mm intakes, no need for the scale inlets on the nacelles. They would just create drag. Great work.
It truly flies great. Part of the success I suspect is the high lift wing vs the high wing loading a true scale model would have. That thick leading wing edge gives it away. Good work.
Great new design and impressive flight! Why not put a small hook on the bottom, and build a small bungee "pedal" launcher so you can have both hands free on launch. I used a pedal launcher with my flying wing for years and every launch was pretty consistent and less nerve wracking.
Hey if someone trashes you for being giddy lil kid thats on them not you u just keep doong u bro dont let haters ruin your fun💪would be so lucky to b able to do what your doing keep it up🤛
Brilliant, I do wish there was some sort of intake come though - I wonder how E-flite did it. That’s an interesting variation of the SR71 with ballooned leading edges that join on to the fuz instead of the sharp blended spine leading edge
Take my money 😂 now! Awesome bird Kyle…👏I was waiting on the BaeHawk re-debut and release but why not add a stealth to the growing mix from your collection. Congrats brother on your success and future builds.
Flies great. It does seem like there's no breeze, which certainly helps but still that won't help if the plane doesn't fly stable. Wonder what that secret is you were talking about around 19:35
Dude!!! Great flight!! Question: When building your next plane especially if you can see the design could be a little tricky to hold to launch, would it be possible to design a slotted 3D piece of thin material under the fuse somewhere reasonable? You know, a slotted way a missile on one of the newer jets has?
You seem to be able to make anything fly so I'm wondering if you could get a Klingon Warbird to fly ? Thinking the one from Voyage Home that would look awesome in the air.
Two words “finger holes” 😂 honestly yes a bungee would be easy but this thing hand launches easy considering I was holding it with 3 fingers near the control surfaces. Once I cut some holes it will be mint !
You could use it to hands free, keeeping it portable, to foot launch for all your designs. Just adjust the angle of attack when launching and have more time flying.
Please. Do not put finger holes in it. If you feel you can’t help yourself, make it so it can be built with or without them as a builder’s choice. Just about every launch was on the money as is. She’s a saucy lass with a fast panache.
Holy Schnikes!!! That fast and not even "optimized"!!!! What do you design in, software wise? What are you printing with? Your productivity is awesome.
When a person make , repair , fix , something and it fights us all the way then when we right or correct it after the fight I want to and sometimes I do throw my hands in the air with a biggest smile on my face . It is called achievement . Cant knock down a person for this . Those that do are stupid idiots .
I’m really impressed. I don’t think I’ve seen such a small SR71 fly so smoothly. So cool!
Thank you 🙏
Forget all the haters and keep making super cool planes like this. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for all you do
bro, ur excitement gets me excited lol dont be ashamed. i think it makes ur videos better to show real emotion.
Love the SR-71, impressive model :)
please keep buildling exotic rc birds, it is very refreshing to watch!
Wow - looks like I found my first twin-EDF !
Great work - thank you.
Great stuff and so entertaining. Good flying from UK.

Your FA-XX is printing as I am watching this video. Gues I'm going to have to print this one as well. please keep the designs coming👋
What material does he use for the print?
@@kairos9508 light weight PLA 👍

I'm so impressed I had to subscribe! I have seen the e-Flite SR-71 in flight and it's horrible but yours is incredible!
Absolutely amazing plane , I can’t believe it flies so well can this be made larger if possible, congrats again
This is everything the eflite sr71 wasnt!! Docile light and fast!!! Keep doing the good work kyle!!

hell yeah! another win! super excited
Love it! keep on building! my fav. airplane!
Nice flight and another cool build
Where can I get plans for this amazing plane?
That thing is so sick! Dang!
Do you sleep? 😂 I got the Batjet assembled I just need the electronics. Can't wait to show it off. Your pushing out planes faster than I can keep up 😊
Awesome plane great job.
Congratulations man - that's awesome!
thats 2 great builds in a row ,just purchased the fa/xx ,r/c everyday!

Now I have a tough decision, will my first twin jet be the C-17 or SR71, I will have to decide after i finish and fly the mirage 64mm
It’d be interesting to get some telemetry in there and see what kinds of speeds and forces your builds pull
Speed meter will go inside
Where can you buy these? Do you sell them?
@@thebunkreport I sell the printable files on cults3d 👍🏻
I am sorry, maybe I missed it: what speed does it raise? Can it take some additional luggage? (100-200 gramm of useful weight)

Awesome.
I'd love to do what you do.
I'd love to see you do a model of the avro cf-105 arrow. Twin 40mm or 50mm would be sweet.
