I don't think an early starting route would really be affected by relics all that much. Now when people are using specific tasks from last Trailblazer in the route, that's where it could get iffy.
I'm not sure if he mentions this, but I wouldn't pick Asgarnia first. It's in most builds, but that zone is trash for your first unlock. The tasks are awkward and have high requirements, and it was also one of the areas with the least number of tasks in the last Trailblazer.
@@Whipy Zeah is pretty terrible first unlock. It doesn't help you buy obsidian, it offers no early upgrades other than salad robes/shayzien (which are hard to do early and trash). There's basically nothing that is efficient to do on Zeah at a low level other than WT which gives much better loot at higher levels. Shamans/Slayer/Sarachnis/Cox are not remotely viable grinds early. Desert easily gives you the most free stuff and has plenty of BiS training methods early. Wildy is good first and Asg is solid too.
Desert is by far the best first pick and the strongest region in general. Wildy could arguably be second best as a first pick. Zeah is absolutely bad early but definitely very good mid/late. Kandarin is trash imo unless you really want max magic for your build. Fremmy and Mory are definitely worse as first picks. Prif definitely has the best shops and you can do Zalcano into early gauntlet (still rough). Asg gives you BiS armor for range/melee until you can boss and the fastest combat exp in the game with PC. Dmace/Dbaxe+Defenders are also BiS melee until you can boss/do slayer. MM will also help you buy onyx/obsidian. Golden nuggets were painful before but hopefully thats fixed like PC points. Basically if you don't want to do D or W, A is the best first choice especially for melee/range (unless you're a gauntlet god and want to grind that before you get most of your relics/stats).

This is a great summary and I appreciate how little you suggest Kandarin lmfao. A couple of additions: Wildy will be trash if they don't instance the bosses and it will be a bit rough if they don't buff the rev weapons/blighted drops outside the wildy. Webweaver and Voidwaker are likely BiS spec weapons. It does give you by far the best moneymaking for runes/onyx/obsidian and infinite supplies basically. Farming the bosses will likely bank 99 const and crafting and herb for you if you hate getting those supplies. Kandarin isn't really a good starter region (much worse early and late upgrades than Desert/Asg), it just has a lot of content you can do early that isn't hard or particularly point/training/loot efficient. Crystal armor doesn't impact BoS at all so your loadout screen is a bit off. The order you pick matters a lot! Basically no one should go Fremmy or Zeah first. My thought is you want your first region to give you midgame upgrades, help you buy obsidian/onyx, and give you decent ways to train that won't be impacted by higher relics while still being useful lategame (Tempoross/PC/Sorc Garden all probably efficient to do early). Zeah doesn't give you any of that other than WT (which is still better with higher stats). But most of the twisted leagues tasks will be overlapping with general tasks, and I thought I read you get a Kingdom Divided autocompleted so you won't have any quest/favor tasks to do really. It all depends on how much they actually change but I can't see much viable to do early on Zeah other than WT, wc, and artefacts (which are BiS exp but not loot/money).

I asked about points balancing and you should be able to get dragon tier no matter what regions you pick. Some could be only faster with some relics, but overall you can't lock urself out... But my regions Im going to choose is Desert - Asgarnia - Fremmenik Fremmy unlocks so much from DT2 rewards, so I think its worth it. GWD would provide majority of the armor, TOA possible upgrades and Fremmy gives some accesories like rings, venator bow etc... For me it feels the best choice if I dont want to do Cox or CG.
For my first ever league and with not much experience in endgame content. I am very conflicted on a build to focus on! Range looks awesome but that hybrid build feels so safe for someone like me
What’s the best areas to unlock if I wanna do as many bosses and raids and fun stuff as possible to progress from an intermediate player to a good player? Like Jad or Vorkath or wildy bosses etc?
I'm gonna be a full magic boy, get every spellbook from Fremmy, Desert and Zeah. Going for stuff I did not do last time and did not want to pick Asgarnia because Bandos was hell for me last time.
I feel like a lot of people sleep on barrows, can single handily fill in for all 3 styles with decent gear if your first 2 regions happen to lack particularly bad in any style or to fill out slots while going for bis from raids/gwd. its stupidly easy even at low combat with shit gear not even including relic effects.
First league I did Kandarin, Asgarnia, and Fremennik with melee build. This league I think I’m gonna be totally different and do Zeah, Desert, and Tirannwn. I did so much GWD in leagues 2 and 3 that sacrificing it won’t be an issue. With those regions I think ranged will be best build. I wanna see how I could do not doing either chambers, toa, or gauntlet ever before.
I appreciate the video, this is the only one I’ve seen with recommended builds for alternative play style. Myself, I’m going kandarin asgarnia and wilderness. This year, I’ve picked regions with content that I would certainly participate in. Raids regions are each enormous but many points will be locked away in raids, which I don’t care for. Tirannwn has a lot of skilling content I like but cg already drives me nuts in the main game. Mortyania is a combat heavy region but I wouldn’t be caught at nightmare on my best day.
Don't know if you mean that order, but I'd recommend Asg and/or Wildy before Kandarin. Idk what content you like in Kand but the other two offer you much better gear/money/supplies early. I'd also suggest trying out ToA on the main game. Its very doable on the main game in beginner mode. I was able to do deathless at 50 and 100 invocation my first couple tries with friends while doing top damage sometimes.
@@kenshin1368 kandarin has way more to do early game than either of those regions in nearly every way you mentioned. It offers a teleport network, two areas for hunting, a handful of areas for fishing, adequate areas for training mining, thieving options all around the place, agility at seers, piety is here as a prayer, quests for quick early levels, reliable money making that can’t be crowded by other players, dragon scim accessible immediately, a new slayer area, etc It’s not that I CANT do raids, btw, it’s just I don’t care to. With family and life in general, doing a boss that takes a minute or two to kill at a time makes me much more available than a raid or content that takes 10-20 minutes (not to mention if I have to bail on a raid, it’s very rude to teammates). This lets me still have game time will being able to be a parent/adult.
@@steeveewuzzheer1992 Void+defenders+dmace+dbaxe are straight up BiS until you can boss. And PC is basically BiS melee experience at most levels. Asg could be miserable if they don't change tasks much so it's a toss up after PC if motherlode mine will be efficient early or what else you could do except agility. Completing MM should give you enough ores for onyxs/obsidian. Wildly will straight up give you like 60 prayer and mage and a few 100k within a couple hours of unlocking it. It's easily the fastest way to unlock obsidian/onyx. You get god spells/cape and rcb from the easy bosses. Infinite money and supplies and dragon equipment from revs. Yeah Kand has those things but it's not necessarily that good. Karamja has lobster and karambwanji. Both Asg and wildly also have agility. Wildly is way better money and and SW is probably better money than anything in Kandarin. And you should never really have to hunt anything with birds nests unless you want chins.
"they'e building a new task list from the ground up" They said they just cycled 100 tasks out and put 300 new ones in. It'll be p much the same.😂 Edit: How are you planning for Rune gloves without Kandarin(Region with 5/8ths of the RFD subquests)
You just need Kandarin for the ballista and a relic that speeds up your attack speed/range strength. You'll get an anguish for range damage in Kandarin and probably want Masori/Armadyl for even more max hits. So Kandarin, Asgarnia, Desert would probably be best
I think desert will be a good shout to unlock first, decent skill options, MTA will suck, but solid magic armor, then with temp you have great food and jewelry/GP. Save ToA for like base 75's for some major upgrades. After that i'm kinda stuck! Piety, dragon defender, zenytes, gwd are all huge to consider, also no decent magic weapon in the desert outside of wand/fire wave to actually do ToA with. I want morytania so bad, but i dont think it will fit. Information overload lol
I want to learn gwd and toa, maybe even nex, so I'm doing Asgarnia and Desert, which funnily enough gives you great melee gear, great range gear, bis mage staff, and you still can get virtus robes. I don't know what I want for my third region. I've done almost 1000kc of cg, so I don't really want to go to Tirannwyn, though I also hate zulrah and kind of want to learn that... I also haven't done dt2 on my main (I can't afford a bowfa, and I'm grinding for one and tbh I don't want to do it without a bowfa), so learning as many dt2 bosses as possible would be good. Though tbh I also haven't learned muspah and I skipped dks so.. maybe I do Asgarnia, Desert, Fremmy? Fuck, but at the same time I haven't done demonics, so Kandarin would be nice to learn them.
Why are you asking us you need to make these decisions based on your mind your research and knowledge don't just take someone's Yt comment as serious, you're just as likely to get trolled
@@iplayvayne9769 I have enough hours to know the difference between a troll or not. I don't want to lock myself into something I regret and lose all motivation to play leagues.

I feel like Kandarin would be a great pic. Not only will it give you BIS jewelery to boost the TOA & Asgarnia gear (and will teach you demonics) it will also give you piety and it’s the region that helps you the most in leveling. Ignore the little brat that replied here, we’re here to help eachother and of course you can ask for recommendations in youtube comment, that’s why they’re there 😁👍🏻
Personally my choices will be mainly based on relics and regions where I hate the least amount of content, instead of gear. For instance, if you really want Asgarnia to get access to Nex or even just God Wars think about MLM, Pest Control, Giant Mole, and even Camdozaal. It's all the same region and a lot of points are usually tied to the first two. You really want Desert? Sorceress's Garden, Pyramid Plunder, Magic Training Arena. (depending on how minigame points are buffed, MTA might be fine) You want Zeah? Tithe Farm, Farming contracts, Wintertodt, Arceuus Library, You really want raids? Most players were unable to complete all of the related tasks in past leagues.
Those will be on the second channel! Don’t want to oversaturate this one since they usually don’t do too well on here. So for the people that want them, they’ll be over there 😁👍🏻
I'm pretty set on going Kandarin / Desert / Asgarnia - get myself a shadow (hopefully early (pls Jagex)), an occult, and a tormented, and just farm out the dozen bosses that a shadow is good at.
Same, you thought much about swapping Kandarin for Zeah? I'm still tempted to swap but I have no interest in CoX so I'm with you on K/A/D for now anyway.
@craig5814 That was my original plan, but I think having 2 raids to grind out would be overwhelming. Plus relic bonuses will render Augury kind of obsolete, I reckon.
@@AABoeing737MAX I haven't decided what cb style yet but if I go mage I'm 1000% going kandarin. Never know when you're gonna get a shadow, and having access to iban, warped sceptre, Trident, occult, bracelet, smoke staff maybe, will be huge
Solo ToB go brr. Mory, desert, asgarnia for me i think. :D Although I'm not sure if i need piety or a dwh with the melee relic and the fang so that will be interesting... eventually scythe, torva, infernal, blood fury. Like it's gonna go nuclear and it sounds so fun but i'm just not sure how it's gonna work out which i guess is half the fun!
Been a while since I got to craft a plan like this. I'm probably going to go zeah/Desert, but not sure what my 3rd region will be yet. Still have a few weeks though so there's time.
Definitely do Desert before Zeah. Zeah gives you nothing early/mid and desert gives you free near BiS ring, near BiS mage gear, free t65 weapon, food/money/planks/jewlry, and BiS training methods/moneymakers for thieving/agility/fishing/cooking.
I'm also thinking of going mage, Kandarin and Desert for sure, but honestly I don't know what to have for the 3rd region. I don't want to pick Zeah because I can't be asked to do both ToA and CoX. I'm honestly thiking about Wildy for early money and the MA2 cape. Little worried about some group locking out the rev caves or most of the wildy bosses.
@@162Jenni I wasn't 100% set on my third choice either. Tbf I might just go Arsgania for the third choice. Shadow will melt a lot of god wars bosses and I can farm the Whisperer for Virtus robes. I get Armadyl for the Masori + Bandos/Torva with a defender
Gentlemen... Why the F would you play this ? Spending 8 weeks just for cosmetic rewards?? You could make a skill 99 in 8 weeks why would you waste so much time in traiblazer.. im a osrs returnee so i just dont understand can someone pleasseee explain why you would play this?
@@OnlyTrails fast leveling/relics take away the dopamine reward for me. And doing it for nothing feels like im wasting time. All this grinding for cosmetic rewards on your permanen account? No thank you. I'll be training my skills on busy spots while y'all at it tho🤣
I hope all regions are unlockable, this whole fragmented game thing is OK but if it just ends up limiting your content even at the endgame it's stupid and I have no interest personally. Ohh cool I spent weeks making this temporary account and I can't do X content because they arbitrarily decided to limit me.
I really hope they don't force you into one combat style. That was one of the major complaints of TB, it makes any high level PVM where you have to switch styles pretty miserable unless you can brute force it with accuracy boosts.
Obligatory Kandarin hate thread (unless things change drastically, avoid unless you really want tormented/occult for max mage and save it for second or third pick): Literally no fun content imo. I like ZMI but its irrelevant in leagues. All the 'bosses' are afk. Horrible content like monkey agility, chompy, and fishing trawler. No BiS training methods or even methods that offer multiple skills/tasks (like pyramid plunder, aerial fishing, tempoross, WT, MTA, SW, PC). Only BIS is Zenytes/Occult. 7% str and 5% att on a prayer is not worth choosing a region for. It offers nothing for range except anguish is good ofc. For melee, void+defenders+dmace/baxe are way better than a dcim. For magic, the new staff+mystics is way overshadowed by infinity+tome+wand+ancients. Of course prioritize fun and content you want to try out, but Kandarin has basically none of that and isn't required for any other raids/bosses.
Your ranged hipster build requires 4 regions unlock, A/T/W/Z
Yeah you're right, the armour isn't correct in that one :/ my bad. In that case I'd drop Zeah and go for A/W/T like it says on screen!

Since this is an Ironman mode, do you think we are going to have to Solo Nex?
Just like in maingame ironmen can do nex together. Best for items is probably trios!
It offers a teleport network, two areas for hunting, a handful of areas for fishing, adequate areas for training mining, thieving options all around the place, agility at seers, piety is here as a prayer, quests for quick early levels, reliable money making that can’t be crowded by other players, dragon scim accessible immediately, a new slayer area, etc
It’s not that I CANT do raids, btw, it’s just I don’t care to.
Jordan, you added the wrong info at the bottom with the ranged hipster build. it says AWT but u mentioned zeah.
yeah saw it too late :(
"they'e building a new task list from the ground up"
They said they just cycled 100 tasks out and put 300 new ones in. It'll be p much the same.😂
Edit: How are you planning for Rune gloves without Kandarin(Region with 5/8ths of the RFD subquests)
I checked the trailblazer wiki page and with the automatic quest unlocks I should be able to get to rune but i didn’t double check. Guess we’ll see 😁
brilliant video! im so stuck on the route i wanna take for leagues!
Whats the best regions if you want to main heavy ballista
You just need Kandarin for the ballista and a relic that speeds up your attack speed/range strength.
You'll get an anguish for range damage in Kandarin and probably want Masori/Armadyl for even more max hits. So Kandarin, Asgarnia, Desert would probably be best
Trails plans for full obsidian but ends up with inquisitors😮?
perhapssss
@@OnyxANZ yeh but why are you asking in a UA-cam comment you probably will get 1 reply from ask on Reddit or your homies that play, Yt is the worst place for advice lol
@@iplayvayne9769 if I had friends I wouldn't be on osrs. Reddit also basically hates anyone who asks for help, or the answer is "ask discord". Fuck discord
(depending on how minigame points are buffed, MTA might be fine)
You want Zeah? Tithe Farm, Farming contracts, Wintertodt, Arceuus Library,
You really want raids? Most players were unable to complete all of the related tasks in past leagues.
I jusr wanna do a full blood bark blood sceptre max mage damage build. Maybe virtus instead of bloodbark.
Can we please please please expect a daily yt progress vid on this?
Those will be on the second channel! Don’t want to oversaturate this one since they usually don’t do too well on here. So for the people that want them, they’ll be over there 😁👍🏻
I know I'm taking zeah purely for the fun, so many different things to do. Other than that, maybe elf lands and morytania
Also going KAD
I started to play 2 months ago and i wana learn bossing...i am thinking desert asgarnia and zeya/morytania
ok is this a void like season were all items and progress is lost at the end of the season or is it rolled into your main account ?
What do you think?
No way in hell this will be roolled into your main.

if you do morytania, can you not do nightmare and get yourself inquisitor instead of obsidian?
Yeah i could but not sure if I want too
@@OnlyTrails if you have your scythe and sang it could be fun and you can make some group content with viewers if you feel like it?
100% I'll be gaming with viewers on stream, Ima need as many Tob teammates as I can get @@casperkjaersgaard2127
and when does leagues start?
15th november :D
Zeah gives you nothing early/mid and desert gives you free near BiS ring, near BiS mage gear, free t65 weapon, food/money/planks/jewlry, and BiS training methods/moneymakers for thieving/agility/fishing/cooking.
wish it was twisted league with relics twist, hopefully next league
pls do a relic video for every build
I was thinking about going for a mage build: Kanderin for Occult + Tormented Bracelet, Desert for Shadow and Frem for Magus ring and Saturated Heart.
ZDA alllll dayyyy baybeeee
(Unless i spoon a shadow before picking reguon 3, then its ZDK
I can't decide what I'm going to do 😭
Based build
Will D. Bad
Let’s gooooo
Taking kandarin, tiranwnn, and desert to learn inferno. Shouldn’t take that many hours to get my BIS gear
How about picking morytania instead of Kandarin for black mask? Then chose your zuk task after 1 kc
TOB - Mory & minigames - Desert = Not fun
I don't think your route is crazy at all (F>T>M gang)
I'm going Kourend/Wilderness/Desert to grind out some pets 😊

Yahoo
wilderness should be automatically unlocked
i wish they turned this league into a group ironman league

I hope all regions are unlockable, this whole fragmented game thing is OK but if it just ends up limiting your content even at the endgame it's stupid and I have no interest personally.
Ohh cool I spent weeks making this temporary account and I can't do X content because they arbitrarily decided to limit me.
I really hope they don't force you into one combat style. That was one of the major complaints of TB, it makes any high level PVM where you have to switch styles pretty miserable unless you can brute force it with accuracy boosts.
Obligatory Kandarin hate thread (unless things change drastically, avoid unless you really want tormented/occult for max mage and save it for second or third pick):
Literally no fun content imo.
That's why it's in the "point hunter" build, where we don't have fun 😆
