Oh my god dude, I remember when the game first came out on console and I had preordered it. People were all up near the werewolf shrine trying to charge people for a bite for like, 20k gold or something and if not that they'd kill the werewolves that'd spawn so you'd be forced to buy them. I managed to get a free bite from a spawning werewolf luckily and became a pack leader so it was fun, even managed to give free bites to peeps too

I remember this. Back then to become a vampire from a bloodfiend they would probably only come out two times in month if I remember or just very rarely. But now its every in game midnight

@@tenjiku8251 I was unfortunately a victim of that when I first played back then. Only problem is that it was one of the people I was friends with that charged me a shit ton of gold for it. My other friend warned me it was a bad idea but I wanted the werewolf too bad to think about it.
I remember that also reason I quit was I asked people to help and had none even on quest yikes
And don't pay gold to players who want to sell you a bite, there are many people who do it for free, too!
Or just get it from a Bloodfiend

You don't even need other players to get the vampire/werewolf bite. In the mentioned zones of Bangkorai, Reapers March and Riften there are special werewolf or vampire NPC mobs that spawn on an INGAME full moon (theres a small ingame addon clock on esoui that I used to see when a full moon would appear). Let them attack you a few times before killing them and check your debuffs if you contracted the disease.
Yes, it takes way longer because you have to wait for a full moon ingame time instead of just asking someone to bite you, but I just wanted to point out that this option exists.

I didn't wanna include this, because I know this can be very confusing for newer players (speaking from experience) and it's much faster to get it from other players, but it's a good (and another free) alternative.
Your video was great by the way. Sadly it was needed because ZOS tries to squeeze even more money out of the players.
I’d rather buy one from a player or get one for free from one lol then do all this weird shit.
The nicer option is to let the mob infect you then run away and not kill them. Which allows other players to encounter them as well. The downside to this is not very many players are thoughtful and will kill the mobs without even thinking about it.

Update: So I just logged in recently and apparently ZOS removed the featured ad for bites and the cure. Yay! (But they are still in the Crown Store of course)
There is a werewolf version of the werewolf and vampire package for sale in the crown store now.

I wrote an update under that video and I made a post about it but decided not to make an entire "health update" video or something, because I felt like it would come off as attention seeking or something of sorts that I'm fully against. I've received such a huge positive support from you guys, which was unbelievable, it really helped me mentally and I'm very grateful for that, beyond any words.

How do I progress the lycanthropy disease to being a full werewolf? A player bit me but nothing has happened besides infecting me with the disease.
Is the curse of vampirism in the crown store a one time use thing?? Or can you reuse it freely onto other characters ??

Soooo in the beginning the first ever vampire/werewolf had to buy it from the crownstore and since then he could bite everybody for „free“?
No they most likely got bit by an NPC. The bites weren’t available at game launch.

They added the crown store option for those players that are to daft to Google if there's an alternative before immediately jumping to the first thing they see. Doesn't make sense how this has now become an issue after all this time.
They added the crown store option because most eso players are dicks and will either ignore you after you’ve asked to be turned or they’ll demand you pay them to turn you

Made exactly the same mistake and bought vampirism, but now as i lnow more i offer it free for new players in 7 days cycle.

Google "ESO clock" and the first one. One day is around 6 hours in real time.

They are part of the base game, you just have to travel there to discover them on your map.

I stopped playing since pes2020 release day (only logging in for the daily reward and horse skills) and now, 2 weeks ago, i started playing again and i don't know how it happened but my Necromancer is now a "Bloody Vampire"!!!! 😷

Nope, it's part of the base game.

They are part of the base game, so they are unlocked, you just need to travel there.
You can teleport to other people in your group/guild, you can also take a boat at bigger cities or just walk.

You can get infected by werewolf mobs in the same zones the wayshrines are located in. But it has to be full moon and around midnight in-game. Also, not every werewolf can infect you, so this method can be quite cumbersome.

I don't want to talk to other players. If I were social, I wouldn't want to become a vampire in the first place. Did they change the procedure of getting bitten by npcs? I still have to go to original highest level zones, between 12am -6am and find blood fiends and whatever werewolves are called and fight them, right?
Yes, that still works. But only on nights when there's full moon in-game.
New player but why would someone want to cure being a vampire
Maybe they dislike the new skill line
Fire weakness but it’s minimal and the passives are so worth the downfalls
Getting people to actually bite you so you can because a werewolf is so hard because you sometimes your asking players for hours to bite you and so I paid for mine

Unfortunately, despite how long ESO has now been on the market, the Crown Store needs a lot of work. Personally I've found it to be very unclear for many items, especially when it comes to the question of which items are "shortcuts", which are "character specific" and those items which apply to your entire account. This is definitely an area which ZOS need to work on as it simply isn't good enough.
