I love the fact Achnologia doesnt even go full force against anybody at anyone time. Not only is he the strongest Character in FT but has one of the best backstories ever...Once yall finish the Tartous arc you have to watch the Dragon Cry Movie it will explain alot of what happens afterwards.

It's hard to think of any scene that made me feel as hopeless and helpless as this one, and there is only one other example I can remember of a villain introduction that brought a sense of calamity like Acnologia's (It is in Chainsaw Man if you're wondering, the anime hasn't gotten that far yet. For manga readers: "name list" is what I'm talking about.), but even that one didn't look as unbeatable, as terrifying as Acnologia was. You put it perfectly. "This was the first time Natsu said everything would be okay, and it didn't convince me."
Oh I remember me staring at the screen in disbelieve after they were all "killed" and a seven years timeskip was confirmed 😅 I simply couldn't believe it and at the same time couldn't think of a possible way for them to survive and not come back for seven years 😅
up to this point all the main villains of fairy tail where hype to be strong and unstopable, only to be defeated by teens with the power of friendship but holy hell achnologia says nope gonna change that and actually shows the power gap is and how wide it is the fact the only thing they did to it was pushing it back by 3 dragon slayers and it pretty much like when you push someone on the edge of the pool that about to jump

Ive watched over 100 anime fairy tail is an amazing anime but it would've been a thousand fold better and would've been on the same level as the big three if only they actually killed characters that were beloved and they had alot
I don't think Mist is powerful enough to teleport a whole group of people at once and their distance between the land is too far and requires enormous of magic powers. And if there anyone he would rather save it would been Wendy.

Zeref said it was gonna be the end of an era. It would have be good if it could have be a really different era for the anime. I mean, instead of friendship power who save everything and almost everyone who end up nice, the sacrifice of Makalof would have made the anime better and served to balance in an anime where people can actually die, maybe with even more deaths after this among the importants characters.
