Maybe Ferromex is also interested in buying battery-electric switcher locomotives from Progress Rail too, that are built on the frames of C40-8M/C40-8W/SD40-2 locomotives. They’re also most likely interested in yard slugs that are semi-permanently connected to the locomotives and rebuilt from ex-UP C41-8W locomotives called the BYS, or BES1000CRC Yard Slug. Are there any non-North American railroads across the globe that are also interested in Progress Rail BES1000CRCs?

Ferromex locomotives are widely seen here in the SW part of the US. It’s partially owned by Union Pacific.
