Happy Friday my friends! Really excited to share this one with y’all. Lots more in the works, as I’m currently in the beginning stages of my next big video! It’s going to be great… stay tuned! Thanks for watching and enjoy your weekend!
I am so old, I photoed trains in/out the now closed Gallitzin tunnel. I am so old, I rode on the "National Limited" trains 30 and 31 on Horseshoe curve. I am so old, I remember seeing all the former EL SD45-2s in helper service on the curve. I am so old, I remember seeing ALTO, back when it looked GREAT! I am so old, I remember seeing 4 tracks on the curve. I am old.
The helper that blew the horn like crazy at Cassandra is a guy we call The 'Happy Honker' in the Horseshoe Curve VRF stream. He always goes crazy on the horn. His mom stops in the stream and tells us when he will be coming through.
Not hard to understand 11k views in 1 year. Never underestimate the sensitivity of others. 4 minutes of that smoke alarm and I’m leaving. Beautiful camera work. Good luck. Don’t stand near a crossing bell either. At least the alarm didn’t follow you to Horseshoe Curve! Your work is great. Subscribed. See you again! ➡️
Awesome Video Coverage of one of the Best Railfan locations in the World! My first visit to Horseshoe Curve with a camera was August 8th, 1980 a little over 43 years ago and as far as I am concerned is definitely still worth visiting! All trains still had cabooses on them in 1980, it was a interesting sight to see the trains with cabooses and helper locomotives shoving those train over the mountain! Thank you for putting this video together, it is appreciated!
Great vid. I'm retired KCS out of Texas and I like to watch great productions about trains, especially in areas I have never railroaded in. Playing Trainz 2022 and enjoying. Keep up the great work..
That’s incredible, thank you for those kind words my friend! Congrats on your retirement, I’m sure you have plenty of great stories to tell. Thanks for watching!
Your very welcome and yes indeed that's what we are doing this weekend is planning and booking everything. Have a nice rest of your Saturday.@@rail.tennessee
Really great stuff, found your channel last week and instantly subbed. The content you make is the stuff I wish I could...haha I was wondering what camera you use to film your videos? I've been needing a new one myself and your shots look amazing
Hey man, thanks for the kind words! They mean a ton. I’ll be publishing a video here in the near future about the camera equipment I’m currently using, with the intent of helping other railfans! Stay tuned 😉
Thinking of visiting horseshoe curve bit I’m not from the area so this close I helped any tops it where to stop or what spots you’d end up recommending
7714 didn't even give you a toot salute!!! How rude, NJ should take care of their own trash. Like this fracking brine water. If it goes in a containment well that well should be on the property owners land. They are making all the money from it. We don't want it in Ohio!!!
Brown’s Fans here. Dislike Pittsburgh. Live 600 ft from Old PRR Mainline. Pitt to St. Louis. Now Ohio Central. Shops a half mile away. They run East to Mingo at night. 🤠
Ha! Yeah… Browns/Steelers game day is always a big one! But that’s awesome you live along the OC! That’s one I hope to check off the list someday… thanks for watching my friend!

44M isn't a manifest, its a grain train, NS parks grain trains in cresson yard for the RJ corman locos to take on their line
Thank you for the clarification! I’m certainly no expert in this region by any means.. so I appreciate the insight!

Those trains fly through Pittsburgh. They heavily fence off the areas in the city but those things blast thru.
Awesome catches and excellent video
Thanks for watching!
You're welcome
I was there back 2008. Got to talk to the tower dispatcher
I used to bike across the Mon everyday after school just to watch the trains go by so many good memories with freinds
Awesome catches! I’ve always wanted to go up there.
Definitely worth the trip, thanks for watching!
