Thats a nice set of Chase cards you have so far and you really came out on top with the bonuses for them. Im 3/24 like you but plan on getting some bus card over the next yr.
Nice stack of Chase cards, I have 9 Amex cards I plan to venture into Chase in early 2026 after a long ass gardening haha. I added the Amex Platinum recently so it will be a enjoyable gardening, Chase has quite a few nice cards still unsure which one I'll start with.
9 Amex cards is sweet! 2026 is a really long time to wait to get more Chase cards, but it could be worth it. Nothing wrong with starting with the Ink Business cards to help with 5/24 and as long as you're comfortable signing up for business cards
@@JacobsPointsAndProfitI have 5 business cards already, a Chase business card would be a good option. I’m sitting at LMAO/24 so I need that much time ha.
Great video and I’m jealous! I received mail from Chase yesterday about applying for their business card. I was sooooo bummed out because I have to garden until May of 2025 so that I will be within the 5/24 rule. 😩 In the meantime, I’m going to open a personal checking and savings account with them. Your very impressive Chase collection is similar to my 9 AMEX. I can’t wait to join the Chase family. 😁
May 2025 is so far away! At least it seems like American Express has been good to you. Opening a checking and savings account with Chase couldn't hurt!
Props brother. You’re killing it. When you finally do decide to go LOL/24 you will have whatever you wanted to get out of chase and i commend that. I had the opposite thing happen. I got 2 chase cards (AMZN/CSP) and a starter non chase card then got denied for a chase card and went Citi Custom Cash, Hilton Aspire, and BCP. Fk em. But now im finally back to 3/24. Gonna start tackling the Flex & Ink Cards again plus the IHG $0 card. Then likely to top off with IHG/WOH biz cards and CFU before dipping out for good. And going LoL/24 myself. Need to grab that Citi double cash while its got a bonus. And before next years Aspire Renewal i need to get the SUB for the Hilton $0 card so i can downgrade. After that i could grab a BCE for bonus and downgrade the BCP to another BCE and grab the Savor card loooool. I got a plan, but we will see if it goes to plan that far down the road!
Looks like you have a strong strategy! I'm waiting for the day when I go LOL/24, but there's so many good business cards I want that my 5/24 status is manageable right now. There's some good personal card offers that I've had to skip, but I'm not complaining about the cards I was able to apply for
@@JacobsPointsAndProfit Yeah you got a few peak promos too like the 90k ink promo and some how you got the chance to get the csp for 80k again after they for the promo in 2022. That’s when i got mine.
This is an excellent strategy! I wish I followed this strategy during my beginning because I had NO idea about Chase’s 5/24 rule, and so I gotta wait until April of next year to get my FIRST Chase card, but would you rather prefer the Chase Prime or Freedom Flex? Which should be my first Chase card by then? You can tell me in the replies man. Anywho, congratulations!!
I’m so happy I learned about Chase 5/24 early on. That knowledge really helped me out. I’d personally go with the Freedom Flex because you can use the points for travel or cash back. Or you could go with a travel card with an annual fee if that’s fits in your strategy
That's interesting! It would be nice to see if other people have the same experience. I certainly wasn't expecting the credit limit to be that high and now I probably wish it was lower than that haha
I actually planned on reducing the credit limit on one of my cards before applying for the my newest card, but I decided to push it a little bit more and I got instantly approved. I'll definitely have to consider reducing my credit limit before my Chase application
The 3rd card was pending due to them thinking I was over 5/24 but I wasn't. I believe card 5 and 6 were pending but it was really easy to get approved the same day or next day when I called in. I raised my income by a couple thousand on card 7 and 8 and they were instant approval
No I haven’t done that and I don’t plan to because I don’t usually come anywhere near the credit limit. Although that definitely could be a decent strategy if you have a low limit on your cards
Yes you are able to do that. Some people advise against it because they think business points should be used for business trips, but Chase has never tried to stop me from doing transferring and it doesn’t say in their website that transferring your business points to personal points isn’t allowed
Well right now i have 4 chase cards + personal checking acct with them. I would like to get at least 1 more Ink card, but i would have to wait till sometime in 2025 before falling to 4/24. Thats a long time to garden 😳
Oh no, it’s sad to be locked out of Chase cards. Maybe those 2 checking accounts will help you get approved for a card or two while you’re over 5/24 but who knows
Congrats on your new Chase addition!
Thank you! I'm excited about it
Thats a nice set of Chase cards you have so far and you really came out on top with the bonuses for them. Im 3/24 like you but plan on getting some bus card over the next yr.
Business cards are the way to go as long as you qualify for them! It’s fun getting new cards without them counting against your 5/24 status
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks! I'm happy to share with everyone!

Jesus, Jacob has a Royal Flush of Chase cards!
I'll try to keep adding more as long as it doesn't upset Chase

In my experience, personal credit limits have always been much higher than business credit limits.
That makes a lot of sense especially if the business is newer like mine is

Marriott Bonvoy has 5 free nights elevated offer currently
Yep that's true! I believe that deal is expiring pretty soon

Oddly, my highest limit chase card is the IHG Premier. I wonder if IHG has anything to do with it?
That's interesting! It would be nice to see if other people have the same experience. I certainly wasn't expecting the credit limit to be that high and now I probably wish it was lower than that haha
I hear IHG can possibly bypass the 5/24 rule I have not bothered to try it but have read of a few getting approvals.
Do you plan to reduce CL with Chase?
I actually planned on reducing the credit limit on one of my cards before applying for the my newest card, but I decided to push it a little bit more and I got instantly approved. I'll definitely have to consider reducing my credit limit before my Chase application
Were they all instant approval ? Or pending as you got deeper

Jacob, you're always living your (credit card) life dangerously!
I’m following everything by the rules!
Did u ask chase to lower other card credit limit down and add it to your main chase card that u use more of?
No I haven’t done that and I don’t plan to because I don’t usually come anywhere near the credit limit. Although that definitely could be a decent strategy if you have a low limit on your cards
Are you able to transfer your UR business points to your personal Chase cards?
Yes you are able to do that. Some people advise against it because they think business points should be used for business trips, but Chase has never tried to stop me from doing transferring and it doesn’t say in their website that transferring your business points to personal points isn’t allowed
That’s insane…thanks! Great video
I prefer the Marriott hotel cards over the Hilton's and Hyatt's.
Interesting. Is the reason for that the spending categories, benefits, or something else?
Good job
Thanks so much!
I’m at 5 and don’t have a chase card rn so we’ll see if they want to let me take their pre approval
5 personal card approvals in the last 24 months? If so, it might be tough to get approved for a Chase card but hopefully you can find a way

Getting those inks cards are great, but a year is a long time to wait. Could be worth it depending on your long term strategy
The IHG Cards seem inticing to me
They're pretty solid in my opinion. I haven't tested out the annual free nights yet, but I'm excited to give them a try
Fix that damn lampshade. Nice set, but two eps without fixing it and I'm wondering if anyone else noticed.
Lol what’s wrong with the lampshade? I’m open to suggestions

You know it! I like those welcome offers and I can get good value from most or all of these cards

@@JacobsPointsAndProfit 👍🏾 just this month alone I got about 6 cards bringing me close to 20 accounts
No thanks. I dont want 8 cards with 1 bank. 4 cards with 4 banks
That's fair. I've been expanding to American Express and Capital One, but Chase is my main bank right now
