All 3 cards are good cards. I have the SavorOne card along with the Quicksilver card and the Walmart Rewards card. With the Walmart Rewards card being discontinued by Capital One, my Walmart card will be converted to another Quicksilver card. Once this happens, I will probably product change my existing Quicksilver to either a Venture or VentureOne card. Maybe in the future, I'll upgrade it to the Venture X provided that Capital One increases my credit limit to $10k.
It's sad that the Walmart card is going away. I always liked what it offered. I hope you get the Venture or Venture X in the future! Really good bonuses and solid cards too

Count me in as a data point. When they change my Walmart card to a Quicksilver, I will have 5 Capital One cards. 3 Quicksilver, the Savor One, and the Venture One.

Does the $300 only count if you use the account owners cc? Or, if an authorized user booked through the travel portal, that could use that $300 credit?
The travel credit is linked to your online account so I would assume the authorized user could use the credit
If I have the Venture X and Venture, does that mean the credit in the travel portal combine? For example, will I have about $600 in the portal to use at one time or do they remain separate?
That's a great question, but tough to answer because the Venture credit is so new for this welcome offer. My best guess is that the credits would be separate, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if you could use both at the same time.

Nice video Jacob. I took my shot and got approved for C1 Savor One card for MEH credit with CL of USD $2K. Will use a straight cash back card as C1 won't approve me for any Venture card with excellent credit. C1 is so trash🤦♂
At least you got $2K. I got a whopping $1K credit limit for my Savor One lmao
820 FICO, and 220K in total CL with my other cards.
Ugh that's frustrating Capital One won't give you the Venture card. Make sure to check the pre-approval tool every so often to see if they've warmed up to you as a customer and hopefully you'll get the Venture one day
Officially, with Capital One CCs, their system max is in fact 4 CCs as of today. Quicksilver, Savor One, Venture One, & (in my case, a soon-to-be former Walmart card & BJ'S Wholesale club card). But, in short, they cap at four if not grandfathered.

I only had to wait four months to get the VX (July 2024) before getting the Savor One first (March 2024).

As high as possible without lying on the application. If they ask for your rent or mortgage payment, you'll want the income to monthly housing payment ratio to be as high as possible. You can always check the Venture X pre-approval tool. There's a specific pre-approval screen that's different than all the other cards. Type in all your information accurately and see what they say!

Definitely use the Venture X specific pre-approval tool. But I'll be honest income doesn't matter for Ven X, I'm a college student who put $25k for annual income and had a ~725 Credit score and I got approved. In addition, I had gotten the Savor One card only 3 months before it as well lol. I think best bet is build a relationship with them and check the pre approval tool.
