      Sir,Can you solve this doubt
      We know each carbon is bonded 3 other atoms of carbon in Graphite
      But If we observe ncert figure some atoms are bonded 2 other carbon atoms
      Thus,It break graphite law

    IN graphite, a carbon atom is bonded with only 3 other carbon atoms. Then how does it satisfy its valency as it is tetravalent.

    Sir,as U said Graphite is a good conductor of electricity due to the presence of free electrons..
    But in ncert class 10,it is given that-
    In graphite,each carbon atom is bonded to three other carbon atoms in the same plane giving a hexagonal array.One of these bonds is a double-bond,and thus the valency of carbon is satisfied..

    Sir as you taught that , physical and chemical properties of allotropes are different but I have read in S.Chand that physical properties of allotropes are different because of different arrangement of carbon atoms in them whereas chemical properties are same .
    Please help me to know which is correct information.

      Fullerene is just gaseous stage when condensed it forms carbon compound
