Thanks to this channel and many others I passed my road test today after failing twice!!!! guys practise practise practise! And if you know what your doing, remind yourself that you do know!!! Stay confident! Sleep, breathe, eat, and drink LOTS of water...use the bathroom FULLY before u take the test...and once again...BREATHE!!! i have anxiety issues, so yes, it helps!!!
Thank you, I failed twice. The second time I failed at the end and the examiner said I would have passed had I not made an unsafe lane change.. So here I am obsessively watching lane change videos and reverse/front parking videos to get myself into the proper mindset. I have a HUGE driving anxiety cause I lived in an area that would have accidents almost daily.. Had me scared to DEATH of driving when I hadn't been before... Wasn't fun for me.. But I believe I can do it this time!
Makoto Kazuki i failed my road test 2nd time too because of an unsafe lane change. The car swerved on the other side while i was doing a blindspot check. I hope i’ll pass the third time. Am too pressured.
I learned the importance of coordination of your feet and verification and steering handling on this video. I love the tip of "running after a car" by accelerating if there's one behind the first car. I love this video too. amazing tips.
Dear Sir , I live in Vienna, Austria and I have been watching your videos for the past 3 weeks along side taking driving lessons and I had my driving exam today and passed. I just want to say a big thank you for making the videos because I was able to pass today just because I did everything I learnt from your videos. God bless what you do .
Thank you so much for your videos and the time you took to make them. No one in my family really takes the time to teach me how to drive so your videos are very helpful for someone like me
That last tip was so good. I passed my G (I guess I got a bit lucky ^^) but I've always had an issue with changing lanes. That tip was pretty nifty, made sense and was explained well/logically.
I thought the same thing too! I got my G as well but I still have the same problem as you, I have gotten better but still not 100% confident when changing lanes on moderate to busy streets. That last tip is super good.
thanks for these videos! 😬 they're all so comprehensive & it helps with improving my lane changing today! my instructor written down i made an abrupt lane changing on my checklist yesterday & i was pondering when did i do that??? afterwards i realized maybe i depress the accelerator way too much. on a side note, when the road is congested, remember to slow down your speed in order to lane change smoothly!! 😋
I’ve been on your channel for just 5 minutes now and have already become marveled at your work. Nicely done! I’ve failed my first try in the driving exam.. hopefully I’m gonna hit that. There are two more tries left
Your videos are super helpful. They make me feel optimistic that I'll nail it. I have a road test tomorrow 😅 and I'm going to watch some videos to help me improve during my practice session tomorrow.
Tricky part in the exams are the habit of the experienced drivers they have created their entire driving career. one hand on steering wheels, reverse parking while looking at the back, especially the lane changing, i could not even get the hang of it particularly in shoulder checking for the blind spots. i have an upcoming initial road test this monday. ✌️😥😭 I hope i pass it 🙏 thanks for this video man 👍
I’ve had my license since January 2022, unfortunately I find that in Quebec when you do it by the book, like you’re taught in driving schools, other drivers will speed up and make it harder to change lanes safely. During rush hour near the métropolitaine I signalled and started turning while my lane was at a standstill, my car was 1/4 in the lane and every car went around mine. I had to force the car behind me to stop by cutting them, if you play it too safe you’ll be sitting there for hours.
That's why I say at the beginning to respect the speed limits. But since students always tend to slow down way too much, running after is almost always the thing to do.
I'm glad I came found these vids...I still have about 20 more hours u til I can take road test but I already feel ready only from driving a month or 2 😂
Keep up the good work.. Two videos or one at least a week is wonderful.. I like your tips though I got my license since 2011 but stopped driving for a while.. having work vehicles picking me all the time ruined my experience.
The most difficult thing for my driving lesson in Germany is to imagine a lane on the road, as we drive to a lot of roads without lane marking, I always forgot to signal the indicator when "changing lane", actually there is no lane, but the car was just swifting from side to side, my instructor reminds me to indicate left or right even though we are just slightly swifting our car in a no-lane 2 ways road.
All your videos are great, very helpful. It would be nice if you can make a separate video on How to change lane in Highway. I am having hard time changing lanes in Highways
1:35 I have to disagree with using obstacles. Even with your turn signal on, traffic in the lane that has parked or otherwise impeded traffic ahead will sometimes ride the lane markers or partially change lane like you pointed out not to do in part 1, then get back into that lane at the same speed or even advancing. This is specially true for motorbikes.
I knew all of this, I watched your videos for weeks preparing for the test, but when it came to actually taking the test... I failed because I didn't stop smoothly and stop signs, I forgot to turn the wheel towards the curb when parallel parking, and I even forgot to look over my shoulder when changing lanes.
Man ✈ you deliver us with your car 🚘 all over world your great love . That is human all about you done it 👍 thank you your time . From some where around 🌍
hi, can you give some tips how to judge safe distance from following car, how to know its safe to change lanes. if i can see the whole following car in the side mirror, is it good enough to change lanes. your videos are very good and helpful thanks.
thanks aznfox3567, i saw that. but i still want to know any other tips how to judge safe distance , how close is the following car ; when we look in side mirror.
After. You shouldn't put your flasher in an intersection or cross an intersection with it. Even better, if you're able to anticipate it, do the lane change before the intersection.
Can u teach us how to correctly park by a curb? I always seem to park far away from it and don't know when/if I did it correctly unless I actually get out of the car
Hello sir i regularly follow your tips and they are very helpful for me thanks for that but im unable judge the car distance from left and right side mirrors plz help me on how to predict on changing lane how to know the distance of my car to the other car when changing lane TQ..
I'm not sure I understand your question. The distances you should be aware of when changing lanes are in front and behind. Obviously, if there are vehicles to the sides, you can't change lanes.
I’m just nervous that when I check my blind spot I don’t check it clearly 😭 I’m afraid the front of the car behind me is so close to the back of my car, that if I merge I hit it by accident ):
It's still unclear to me should I put on my blinkers then check the rearview, side mirror, and blind spot. Or check the 3 to see if its clear then put the blinkers and go. I've had a few instructors contradict themselves. Please let me know.
Some instructors recommend that you chack, put the blinkers, then chack again. In my experience teaching, that's too many moves for beginners to do so it becomes even more dangerous. I recommend checking once. So you should put the blinker first, then check the mirrors and blind spot. Put the blinker first, so in the time it will take for you to do the verifications, other drivers know you want to change lanes. If you do the verifications first, then put the blinker at the last second, they won't have enough time to know your intentions.
Thanks so much ! Can you also make a video on how to stop the car smoothly when approaching a red light or stop sign please, I'm a beginner and still learning.
I get asked for that a lot but I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Reversing into a corner can be very dangerous since vehicles coming from behind the corner won't see you. So it would be better to go a bit further, do a 3 point turn, and go into the turn facing forwards. Also, here it's illegal to reverse into an intersection, so I can't do that. But you might be talking about some different situation. Can you specify?
Why do you have to look over your shoulder if the left and right mirrors show what's in the next lane? doesn't that distract you from focusing on what's on front of you?
There are tyhings you won't see in your mirrors. Watch these two videos. I discuss that. Part 1: ua-cam.com/video/JEJhWqZhS2w/v-deo.html Part 2: ua-cam.com/video/-UO1nRcrq_8/v-deo.html
@@ConduiteFacile in Barbados it's required that before we can take the driven test we have to know seven hand signals plus used them while driving e.g moving off, over taking, turn right, slowing down, stop, calling out and turning left. But the truth is after everyone gets their license no one uses them 😑.
But it would be good if you write subtitles of what you say. I have always difficulty in that because I am not native English Speaker. 😞 But, if you don't, let's see... 😷

the run after technique you explained sound perfect, going to use that method

Yeah. Dorval. Industrial zone. Lots of trucks there. Also you have to check your blind spots carefully in case there's a plane there...Lol.

It's nearly impossible to "run" after a vehicle now a days, because a lot of them go above the speed limit.

You should always check your blind spot quickly. And if you're too close to the car in front, well, you shouldn't be. At any time.
Do a video on merging lanes
Merging lanes? You mean yields?

Great to hear!
Should you also try to look out the back window if you can? I genuinely know people that do this, do you think I'll fail if I don't?
No, you shouldn't. Mirrors and blind spots only.
It's still unclear to me should I put on my blinkers then check the rearview, side mirror, and blind spot. Or check the 3 to see if its clear then put the blinkers and go. I've had a few instructors contradict themselves. Please let me know.

Yes what about blinkers!
Would the running after method work on the drivers test or would you fail
Depends on how you do it. If you do it safely and don't esceed the speed limit, it should be ok.
good 👍👍👍👍

thanks a lot for this tutorial video its so helpful, absolutely.
Can u do move videos about parallel parking for SUV or big cars please! !!!!!!
Very helpful. Thank you.
I cringe so hard when I forget to check my blind spot, and then I switch lanes and I see a car RIGHT THE FUCK THERE in my rearview mirror
That's usually when students really get what the blind spot is.
My problem with changing lanes, i over speed :(. I learned not to slow speed but i overspeed
Number 1
I thought you check you mirrors before you signal
How much move steer to change lane
Not much. Has to be gradual.
So it's not a requirement that learners use hand signals?
What do you mean by hand signals?
