83-89 Joes was my first addiction 😂 I didn't start earning an allowance until 86 so the early Joes was all holy grails to me. No interwebs or vintage toy shops with early Joes so i had to resort to yard sales and thriftstores and finding an early Joe was like hitting the jackpot 😂 see i didn't know that in 86 there was still a group of 84 and 85 Joes available mail order 😢 I remember dumpster diving once because as I rode my Blue Thunder BMX down Snake Alley I spied with my roaming eye the torso of 85 Alpine 😮 holy smokes I locked em in a skid stop. Jumped in that giant metal dumpster looking for a needle in a haystack and boom the legs but no waist 😮 but I kicked it in over drive and found the waist 😂 discovering I could fix Joes by destroying Moms bathroom faucet is another story 😂
In the UK it was called Action Force for the 3 3/4" line. Action Man was the 12" figures - but both from the same company Palitoy who also released Star Wars.
The M.A.N.T.A. Gung Ho was pictured on the mail-in form riding it in an illustration, but no figure came with it. Just a boxy backpack for a figure to carry the pieces in.
@@MysticsModels I was wrong about Gung Ho in the picture. It was Stalker and Bazooka(?) Anyhow, 3djoes has a print of the order forms on their site. No figure ever came with the item, but there was a 1992 convention reissue of the MANTA. If I were president, the economy would run on Flag Points. Yeah...I'm that kid who cut all those rectangles into all those boxes.
Rare GI joe's from late 60's can go from a few $100 to $1000 if box is unopened. Side note. The one's from late 60's were also made from petroleum distillates plastic.
Every figure you listed are indeed rare. Just because you find a few online when you Google search it does NOT mean they are plentiful. I mean out of the thousands and thousands of figures made you found 20 online for sale.... THATS RARE BUD
The figure you've identified as a mail away green cobra viper at 3:05 is the Brazilian release figure, Letal. There is no mail away green cobra viper, to my knowledge.

Ugg...now i wish I hadn't watched this video, I sold one of these rare joes for almost nothing on Ebay last year and didn't realize it's value! Oh well lol...
None of these figures are “rare” neither are Kenner Star Wars figures …..I can find tons of any of these figures mentioned with a simple Google search they are not “RARE” or hard to find ….it’s so you wanna pay the silly price these people try to act like there worth …..this kind of nonsense has taken over the hobby and resellers have ruined the marketplace

For free?
@@MysticsModels yup
I only have 4 left from my collection. I don't remember how many I had back then but it was a lot. Plus most of the vehicles and planes.
Very nice!
I had a mail-in Gung-Ho with a armed wind surfboard. I haven't seen many of those.
I'm not familiar with thar.

Where is the Pimp Daddy Destro origin? You promised it in the video.
I did a separate video on this.
Id guess william the referigerator perry was a rare one. I got one by mailing in proof of purchase and couple bucks for s& h.

Is Hasbro going to do any more re-releases of 1/18 scale Joes?
I was wondering that too, I hope so!

That happened to my Lady Jaye when I was a kid. I never thought of it. Maybe I left it out in the sun?

I would probably put Storm Shadow right next to Snake Eyes. A nice white one with all the accessories will fetch a good price.
Excellent point!
0:57 Action Force in the UK, not Action Man ☝️Just a reminder, because I loved the former and disliked the latter.
