If you liked watching us cook food, you might also enjoy use eating it. :) We sampled tons of Korean classics at Gwangjang Market. Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/49d4tbT7FSY/v-deo.html
I am a Korean American living in Costa Rica. Not much of Korean cooking ingredients available here, but I found you while searching Korean UA-cam. So fun to watch you guys, and I absolutely love Hays. You share and teaching him about other cultures through traveling is just awesome. He is so cute and happy ❣. Subscribed and following you. Stay healthy, happy and safe!
Hi Steph and Pete!!! It's me, Junghee:) Thank you for visiting my class with your sweetheart and I was so happy with you😍 I hope you will keep only good memories in Korea and I wish you good health for the rest of your trip! Thank you so much!
Thank you, Junghee! We’ve had such a great time in Korea and part of that is thanks to your wonderful class and knowledge of Korean food. We learned so much. Thank you.
It is awesome that you are able have the joy of sharing your culture and food with foreigners who may not have been adventurous enough to try more than 불고기 of 치맥 until they took your class! Keep up the great work! 화이팅!
I love seeing people learning to cook Korean food! I used to write for a Korean culture magazine that was based in the UK. I always wrote the recipe articles and loved researching the history of the recipes and trying to make them. Y'all did awesome! I'm glad it was a positive experience for you
Looks like your family really enjoyed cooking class which i think really brilliant way to understand other cultures, yay to that! And twinkle little star song helped endless subway steps 😂
The "Korean taco" in the video is called "ssam" in Korean. It's similar to tacos, but it's very different. I hope you make a lot of happy memories in Korea💕
What a lovely family! I love your family's big smile. FYI, unlike sugar and general syrup, rice syrup (chocheong in Korean) is polysaccharide, which has been Korean traditional sweetener. I recommend brown chocheong made in Korean traditional manner.
Nice try.👍👏🏻👏🏻 It's so much fun to watch. I wish you guys enjoyed the cooking class as well as bibimbop and jeon. Btw, chef Haze! 🌸💕👱 you've been lazy at the cooking class today😆 but you still are sooo cute.😍💕
I have 2 young kids myself and we usually take them to Everland Amuesment park. If you pay extra, you can feed tigers and lions through the car window. It was very memorable for us.
We were deciding between Everland and Lotte World and because we have just seen a lot of wildlife in South Africa and Sri Lanka, we chose Lotte World as it was more convenient. Everland looks wonderful though! Maybe next time! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very nice touch on including a song from the soundtrack of Jewel in the Palace (대장금)!! 😃 I don't know how you plan, film, and edit videos while you travel with a toddler, but you guys are doing a fabulous job! I hope you have a great time in Korea!
@@StephandPete Oh, so it was a happy accident! Haha. "Jewel in the Palace" is a story about a young woman who rises to become a king's personal chef after many trials and tribulations in the palace. It was hugely popular in Asia and the Middle East about 20 years ago. Many cooking scenes were in the show, so your usage of the title song in your cooking video was on point.
I just found your channel today and im binge watching ur korean travel series and i love ur videos! Its nice to see such a nice family enjoying Korean culture and Korea in general! 🙂 Just subscribed and will definitely be watching your future videos and your past videos too~ ☺️ Thank you for posting such wholesome content on YT! Much appreciated!! ❤️❤️
Another Great video c: It's strange to think you're still uploading Korea video but in reality you must have already left Korea for your new destination already! I hope you enjoyed your time here.
Aw thanks for always commenting! We’re actually in Vietnam now! Typing this from an overnight train to Hanoi. 🚂 Still have a few Korea vids left and already plotting our return. 😈
@@StephandPete Thanks for replying!! I hope you'll have fun! I know very little about it so I'll definitely keep following c: You're actually only the second channel ever that I've liked enough to want to adapt my videos a little to incorporate some of your editing style. It's amazing that you've managed to blow up so suddenly with your Korea videos. It gives me hope that it is possible for a small channel to blow up suddenly c:
Nice clip to watch!! As a Korean, when it comes to Korean food, I strongly recommend you to explore other parts of Korea rather than Seoul, cheaper with better quality. Anyway, much appreciated for sharing such nice experiences you had with us. I enjoyed a lot. My expectation for next one is now much higher!!
don't know why that lady called it a Korean taco when calling it a wrap is more accurate. I wish Koreans who deal with tourists represent our culture more accurately without having to borrow from other cultures.
That’s a good point. I think because tacos are so popular it’s easy to drawn a comparison but you’re absolutely right: Korean BBQ can stand on its own just fine! 😋 Thanks for watching!
