Hays is such a treasure, his presence is an "oh my gosh" to us viewers haha 😍No wonder all the locals are in love with your son! And of course, Steph and Pete, you guys are amazing at documenting your travels. It's wild to think that even the same places you've been to and have already shown in your first Korea videos (e.g., the Coex mall) somehow seem different in this one, and you do a great job capturing that! I hope that you can continue to discover new bits and pieces of Korea, and that your trip never goes stale! (I'd highly recommend doing some traditional activities together this time around, like getting a traditional Korean stamp made that uniquely bears your family name in Insadong, or catching some traditional dance show like Nanta or taekwondo performance). Btw, random question, but do you guys take turns replying to these video comments, or is it both of you, haha? I can sometimes notice a difference in communication style, so was just curious!
Bethany! Hi! Guess what?! Yesterday we filmed another mukbang with Dinggle and it was a surprise but guess where they took us?! To a Han Jeong Sik restaurant!!! Finally! It was so amazing! It was on my list of priorities with my parents but we hadn't done it yet so it was PERFECT. I've seen that stamp in a Kara and Nate video-- that's a cool idea! We could even let Hays design it maybe. :) Would you recommend the Andong mask festival? We are thinking of maybe visiting Andong for it in a few weeks. I think Hays would enjoy it. It's just me (Steph) that replies to the comments, but Pete reads them all. Pete is dyslexic so most of the writing stuff I always do. :) I wonder why the style is sometimes different. Maybe if I'm in a hurry, or typing on my phone versus the computer.

btw, I didn't mean to pester you in the comments always mentioning Han-jeong-sik, it's just out of my pure desire for you guys to experience the good/best things Korea's got to offer, like some fine dining before you guys leave for your next journey, haha! And YES, that'd be so lovely if you guys let Hays design/personalize a Korean stamp-- Insadong is just such a cool neighborhood in general, esp. the Ssamziegil plaza in Insadong with some of the quirkest local shops you can find, lol. And YES to Andong as well! That area (along with Gyeongju) is just so rich with history (like Andong folk village), and not a lot of youtubers go there, so your video may actually rise to be the most watched views on Andong, haha! And yes, the Andong Mask festival would probably be a really cool cultural experience, as well as the Andong Mask Museum that features masks from not just (ancient) Korea but from other countries as well! And thank you for that explanation re: who writes these comments -- it's just so lovely that you and Pete are so communicative with your fans (& it really shows that you guys do read every single comment), and I think the slight differences in the style may yeah just be you Steph typing on a computer versus phone. In any case, it's always a pleasure seeing your videos (you won't believe how many times I watch these videos; I literally watch them x10 during my work breaks) and interacting with you also in these comments. Wish you all the best, as always!

On the second trip, I can see many famous restaurants or restaurants that I often go to, and I can see playgrounds or parks that I go to with my daughter on weekends. 😊

Ah, glad you like it! It was a loose theme in these few days but as always, we're trying to just travel/live our lives and film it as we do vs. think of ideas for videos and purposely go out to shoot that, so often it's hard to think of a title/thumbnail since our vibe is much more organic (or some might say...lazy UA-camrs). :)

Lots of visitors (esp. from overseas) seem that they think HONGDAE is just a name of a hot place in Seoul, but the word means HONG-IK UNIVERSITY. None of thousands UA-camrs features the University itself(I am so sad because I am one of the graduates from it). Why don’t you get in Hongdae, the varsity?? You’ll find something very interesting :)

Hey guys, i'm sure you guys are doing your research since you're both educated and intelligent adults, but i just wanted to make sure you're getting a wide range of opinions about companies that manage youtubers in Korea. There's videos that talk about this and whether it makes sense depending on the channel and such (caricakes comes to mind), basically, it's not necessarily the best for everyone.
Thank you! We certainly haven’t even thought about anything like management. It’s hard to believe so many folks are watching…we’re just doing what we’ve always done- traveling and documenting. 🤷🏻♀️ Having sponsors every now and again is nice but certainly manageable on our own. 🙂

Steph and Pete, I came from Kairu and Kelly's excellent video of this trip.
An idea that I use: You can buy cords so that you can take the mask off easily and keep it available at your neck. I got mine cheaply from a subway shop in Seoul, for example. (For readers not in Korea, masks are currently only mandated indoors, publicly.) Cords could help a lot with film gear and family to organise. Respect to you guys to manage it all! I don't want to add more talk about masks and so on, but the cord idea is useful if we have to use them.

Hehe we’re hardly “famous.” It’s bizarre to get recognized but really fun to meet people watching our videos! I’m not sure what we’ll do with the channel when we aren’t traveling full time but whatever we do, travel will still be a big part of our lives and I think we’ll continue to document it!
