You should of found a local cross city line train station and got a train into Birmingham. You were near Earlswood station, that would take you into Birmingham Moor street station. Sharon Hudson-Harrison
Great video great to see a city break in a BIG motorhome , really liked the video on the mountain road in spain too. I recently found you channel and im working my way through hoping for a video addressing why you chose a huge motorhome and now a tow car over a caravan or a smaller motorhome 5/6 berth . Have you made a video on the topic ? I'm currently on the hunt for our first camper/motorhome looking at the new swift trekker X or the Chausson x650 just 2 of us and a 70kg dog so far but a 4 berth for future proofing occasional guest's. Were in Glasgow so highland and island roads are telling me 6.5m and narrow more importantly, no plans to go continental also enjoy fishing so need to tow a boat up to 1T 6m braked trailer launched on potentially mildly slippy concrete slipways . But I'm trying to find reasons why I'd need bigger or only go as big or small as i need
Brum has changed a bit since I last went for a wander. When my wife bought me a "swimming with sharks" experience it was at Skegness. They have a good aquarium and I survived.
Lol I drove around Birmingham in 1986 I think we were on our way to a Royal Wedding just using the UK map book, I watch your channel and laugh the good old UK still looks the same.❤🇦🇺
Thanks for the heads up on cost of activities I'm taking my nephew to Cadbury world next month...your looking very healthy Lyndsey...look like you are losing weight ..glad that Steve is sounding better..good vid as always x
First of all, I really like your videos. However I am a little bit puzzled. Your van is bristling with technology yet you're using a karcher to clear the windscreen condensation. How about investing in an outside thermal screen cover. Warm inside in the winter and cool in the summer and say goodbye to condensation. Greetings from Southern France
We have one. It’s lovely. And does a great job especially when we are parked up in one area for a while. However. It’s big, bulky and often wet, and when we are travelling and moving on every day it takes up valuable space. Also the Karcher is quicker than putting it on and off each time we need it.
I thought as much. You do have everything. I must admit I only put the outside thermal screen on if we stay for longer than 2/3 days and I agree, they are very bulky. Safe travels
The Brewery st lorry and coach park is secure in Central Brum. £11 for 6hrs £22 for 24hrs. Easily big enough and you can reserve your place in advance. Not the cheapest but peace of mind. We do this or park at the NEC and get the train 10 min ride, like another commenter suggested.
Think you have been lucky where you parked - knowing and operating in Birmingham I would not park my MH there at all. Easier to park at a decent-sized park and ride or BHX International and travel in by Train. It is a shame as Birmingham has a lot to offer but they just make it very difficult for visitors to get in and out with vehicles. F1 arcade is the new big attraction and very cool. Digbeth also has a lot of places for games now in the old warehouses - in fact, the bullring is turning more into a entertainment zone than shopping.
Birmingham and parking do not go together like peaches and cream. It’s not welcoming at all especially for your motorhome and similar type vehicles ULEZ is just another tax I live 4 miles NE of the city centre and I very rarely go into Birmingham now 👍 👍 🏴🏴❤️🙏😀😀 Like the capital ‘they’ wants to use public transport
I have two men and a baby who is almost taller than me😞. That baby has also learnt a lot about sales from his Dad!!! 🤣🤣 They are great company now though

Wow!!! The Royal Wedding!!!
So your from Bradford. Spent many school holidays in Saltaire area. ❤✌🏼🙏🏼
Ahh I spent a lot of time at Shipley pool!
We always park at the Birmingham international (right next to the motorway network too) and get the train in for £4. I’d never drive in again.
That’s such a great tip!
We use a SPUNJI sponge for our windscreen as efficient as the karcher and much easier to store.
I’ll ha be a look!
You do a great job Lee, always love your vlogs, perhaps you can take me on your next trip 😊
