PWRRUN takes a while to soften. I find even in the Kinvara, it takes a good 60-80k to soften up. I was unsure of the KinvaraPro when I first got it, but now at 300k, it is a great shoe. Very stable, the two foams work well together.
Great video Emily. I am definitely in the opposite camp regarding the Kinvara Pro and feel it worked better for me than the original Superblast. I also believe the ridiculous naming of the shoe doomed it prematurely!
I am glad they changed the name. These shoes are not Kinvaras. I always appreciate the run footage. It gives me a good idea of how the shoes you are reviewing will perform on my feet. Not sure if I need or want a plate in a training shoe but the Endorphin Trainer has me intrigued. You got me, I hit the subscribe button. Thanks for the reviews and have a Merry Christmas!
I think saucony needs to either ditch the plate, or ditch the pwrrun, you don't need a plate if you're using a super stiff foam as a stabilizing agent already and vice versa. It was the same problem with the kinvara pro. Have a good Christmas
I agree. Getting rid of the plate will lighten up the shoe a bit. I was hoping this could be a serious Superblast competitor but it's still on the heavier side, maybe then it could be one.
Hey Saucony, are you going to release new version of Endorphin Speed Runshield? They are my go-to winter shoes. Need to buy new one soon (1200 km on old ones).
I have the kinvara pro and have probably 90 mile total in it. I also felt it was a bit to firm but found myself running in it more then my other trainers. My feelings were ,fit is great, rolls along well and easybto.pick up my pace just wanted it a tad sifter. Sounds likevI will be purchasing the new model .
Looks like a nice shoe from Saucony. If the price in the UK is reasonable, I might get it, although I am enjoying running in my Saucony Tempus 2’s. Happy Christmas 🎄
Yes I’d say they’re protective but quicker than the triumphs. The triumphs have a bit more protection from the road but don’t have the excitement the incredirun foam provides
Not gonna lie, I didn't love the colorway when I saw it in pictures, but in your hands it looks so clean and nice. I dig it. It looks like the shoe might be worth getting just to experience incredirun foam.
Patiently waiting on saucony to either discontinue PWRRUN or completely revamp it bc I agree- it’s firm as hell. I also wonder what this shoe would be like with PWRRUN+ thrown in.
Thanks for the review Emily. I’m looking for a shoe for spring marathon training and race day. I’ve been wanting to use a plated shoe for this one (never have before and always crashed and burned between 16-20 miles) I’ve heard a lot of feedback from marathon runners that the plate can really help with leg fatigue, so this could be good contender?
PS couldn't the dislike be from the plate? How do you tell? This sounds like a plated shift, isn't that what the Speed is supposed to be? These shoe companies are taking pages from Garmin's marketing book, and I kinda don't love it😢. I think I'll stick with what I have or get cheaper older gen shoes. I liked this video though
Great video. Not interested in this shoe. The Speed 4 feels like a great daily trainer, the Pro 4 like a great super shoe, and the Elite is a great race day shoe. I don’t see a need for this shoe in their lineup, just stick to the three they have
When you say Rudolph was *arguably* the best show, then I guess there is room for debate. Every knows Santa Claus is Coming to Town was the best. End of discussion.

Totally agree with Rudolph being the best Xmas movie. And, Burl Ives is the GOAT!

Thank you for subscribing! Happy holidays!
Nice review! The Kinvara Pro took about 40 miles to break in. I thought they were trash, but once they broke in they were great!

Without plate this shoe would be near perfect
The kinvara pro is one of the shoes that just feel right for me. I'm hoping this next version will just improve on that and not change it to much
Good musical choice for the run footage. Also, this kind of feels like Saucony is trying to make a Boston.
Nice looking shoe! Very nice ending Emily........Happy Holidays to all! Hi Ruby! 💕🐕🐾
Thank you for another review! Merry Christmas to you and your family 🙂
Let's go! Very excited for this one 😁 hope you can review it for 100miles or more for the durability

Thanks for the review the tell8w orenge don't know why remind me if melted cheese lol. Happy holidays tovyou arianna and ruby
A Charlie Brown Christmas is a great Christmas classic. Rudolph makes for a better sweatshirt though! 😂😂😂
I love the Kinvara pro as a daily trainer. Now that they did away with it I’m hoping this picks right up where the Kinvara Pro left off
Awesome job
Ciao Emilia complimenti per i video sempre fatti col cuore.
Secondo te si possono paragonare alle Triumph 20/21?
A me sembrano protettive ma svelte...

Nothing will be done, just watch. Hope he travels to the UK, ill be happy to pay him a visit.
Is the toebox as narrow as the Kinvara Pro?
I didn’t feel that it was!
So, wasn't the Speed the trainer? Also, can shoe companies get back to having at least traction pads on their shoes?
A higher volume upper was needed compared to the Kinvara Pro…it really narrowed at the toes.
hard, loud, clunky - pass.
Thanks Emily! :)

This would be a good contender but the plate is very subtle. If you’re looking for a way to ease into wearing a plate, this would be a great option
Gonna get me a pair
totally pass this one.
8:17 so that’s a neigh on the bottom foam 😅
Durability issue with lack of outsole?
Time will tell
They could have used the Triumph Powerrun PB instead of Powerrun.
For its function in the shoe, which is to contain and stabilize the super soft Incredirun foam, Powerrun is perfect.
PS couldn't the dislike be from the plate? How do you tell? This sounds like a plated shift, isn't that what the Speed is supposed to be? I hate when shoes don't put rubber on the outsole. Count me as a pass I will stick with Puma they know outsole.
Powerrun is good until you reach 20kms up and it starts to sink into the ground.
they should just take away the plate on this shoes and it will be amazing
Shoes with almost zero outsole are like the emperor’s new clothes…
Powerrun is terrible in every form. 😂
Powerun in the Ride 15 was fantastic for walking. Very meh for running.
Love Powerrun in the Axon 1-3.
Ran multiple ultras in the Ride 15 and Ride 15 TR. Can’t use baby soft foam since I’m 6’2 220 or the feet get torn up.
Powerun PB good in Endorphin Speed.

Ok fiiiiiineeee
