You'd be surprised. You get remixes that are so pitch-shifted that the music doesn't sound the same anymore. This one is perfect as-is and should instead not be changed.

I agree, I wish SSF2 on Genesis sounded exactly like this, honestly Special Championship had awesome music better than SNES but it went downhill with SSF2

damn almost 8 years since i first saw it and almost 8 years since i found your old game music channel, time flies.
Dead Spirals You ain't kidding, been following since his old channel when he had all the badass gaming soundtracks. I think I even played some SSF2T HD remix matches against him when I was stationed in Korea. And that was back in 2010-2011! Think the Xbox live tag was Mixer Productions if I'm not mistaken.

Never thought I'd enjoy Guile's Theme after being away from SFV AE for a while. I've always loved the genesis synth basslines more for most games that utilize G.E.M.S. flawlessly to the point of maxing out to full capacity within the Genesis.

Anytime there's an extended version of a video game track, all people ever do is loop the song for 30:00. I understand it can be used for fan games, but the channels can be divided and make the game song into more of a DJ-style extended remix. Thank you for making one of these :)

With the exception of Dee Jay's stage BGM, I absolutely LOATHED the soundtrack to the Genesis/Mega Drive version of Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers. Your fan-made Genesis/MD remix of Guile's stage BGM -- which goes with everything -- puts the official Genesis/MD version by Yoko Shimomura, Isao Abe, and Syun Nishigaki to shame. Great job, and keep up the good work. *Faved*

2019 and I'm being brought back to this after listening to hours of Touhou music... and I fucking love it. I have a huge bias for songs on the YM2612 (even made a SNES + YM2612 remix of Metal Man's stage) and now I can add this gem onto there! Glad this version of Guile's theme is starting to become its own thing! It's the definitive song to end all songs!

My favorite genesis version is exactly that one with the golden letters and red decorations (of course with the word genesis on top), I had a model 2 sadly :( Funny though how I used to think that the sound in most genesis games was really bad, like really metallic, industrial crappy sounds and tunes. Now I love it, I find it very relaxing and charming, and this type of sound suits games like earthworm jim, street of rage or most shmups much better.
These remixes are so damn good, I've been listening to your stuff for days. The ones you did for SF alpha 2 are my favorite. I hope you can mix some Street fighter 3 with the genesis sounds, I don't recall seeing them, your video list is huge.
