I was struggling to beat Virtual Fighter 2 for a side quest for Yakuza 2 and the struggle was real and i was about to call it quits after an hour. But then i popped this song on and continued to push on and was able to beat the game. I was overjoyed and kept on going with the song playing in the background, ran into a man on a bridge who was in need of guidance so i gave him a book that sparked more confidence in himself. Shortly afterwards i encountered him again, there he was with a burning passion fighting off a perverted politician harassing his wife. I joined him into battle and when it was all over he went home to be a family man and it was beautiful!
Street fighter and killer instinct are the only series that pulled off the music. I dont know why Mortal Kombat cant say the same. I couldnt tell you what theme is used for any characters in MK
