If your having issues with your PS4 heating up and the fan constantly running, I found that if you elevate your PS4 about 2 inches up off the platform it sits on helps cool it down faster. I used a couple of DVD's stacked on each side to prop it up. BTW this is no joke, it really does work.
I just have a fan it sits in the fan holds the ps4 and holds the psvr charges all the controllers at once but yours is better I can guarantee that because the fan isn’t cheap

You are so right man! I did exactly the same I just used old ps2 games wich have the same format as DVD'S😀... tbh I even put a "plastic bag"(flexible packaging plastic shaped like a bag) over the ps4 whenever it's turned off, to prevent dust etc. from getting in😅

@Mori-Bryan Jin I have another other solution it worked for me. i have tried what you are saying even open the top cover of ps4 to cool it down but didn't work for me so i opened my ps4 and open it through the heatsink and i cleaned all the dust stick on the heat sink it is best way to keep fan voice low and after that it doesn't even over heat only thing is that you have to clean it every 3 to 4 month coz dust will come again.

Life hack nobody doesn't know: Your PS4 AC Adapter is the same as the PS2, simply change it whenever it breaks.

Device link is cool since your PS4 can turn on your TV. It SUCKS when you have your PS4 connected to an HDMI home audio receiver and you turn the receiver on, the PS4 turns on and automatically tells the receiver to change to its input.

+Zac Price I have a sony TV I use BRAVIA Sync, it's so cool, I turn my PS4 it turns the tv on and switches input to it. and I can use my TV remote on my PS4, even the pause/play and all the other useless buttons can be used on the mediaplayer app on PS4. they finally have a reason to exist on my remote, o I can also turn my PS4 using my TV remote only .and use it fully on my PS4 without turning the controller on.
3:56 be careful with this, you have to verify that the charger is adecuate to charge the controller, if you miss that you'll burn the chip of the controller until it gets useless one day. The fast chargers generally are the ones that do this.

You can also replace the PS4 HDD for an SSD if you really wanted to. I did it a couple years ago and my PSN account is still not banned so don’t worry. If you need a tutorial on how to do it I think Linus tech tips has one.

Had to turn off HDMI-device link because when I turned my PS4 on for remote play via Vita it would hijack the TV for anyone was watching it, and also the PS4 would come on when I turned my tv on if it was still on the input for the PS4 which was annoying when I didn't intend on using it. But great list of features, I enjoyed the video and learned a couple things.

3:40 also if you have a Sony phone you can go to Google play or search in ps4 app for 'remote play' (not second screen) then you can do everything like usually but then on your phone. There are buttons on the screen you can use or connect your controller via bluethoot to your phone.

As a minor precaution, I'd just say that some mobile chargers can be a petty nuisance to utilize as a DS4 Charger/Connector (to fx PC). I occasionally connect my DS4 stick to the PC for games optimized for controllers, like Dark Souls. I've always had a problem with how loose the cord is connected to the DS4. If i lie my PS4 stick down on the floor, it'll just disconnect because of how mediocre the mobile charger solution is.

you can actually use your cellphone as a second ps4 controller as well through remote play, takes a lot of getting used to, though you can actually use a Bluetooth phone controller if you do it right, so there :)

I knew about the Android cable tip as I noticed the ending was the same as my S3 charger but I wasn't sure if you could use the plug to charge it or not (from experience of universal chargers with laptops the _wrong_ voltage either won't charge it well or could fry it, so I always used the PS4 to charge my controller just to be safe :P ). Found this video while Googling themes for the PS4, feel like giving my system a visual upgrade. :D

Just a heads up about using a phone charger for your controller, watch out for the voltage and how long you charge it for (past it being full) it could overload the battery. I used to do it and eventually my controller wouldn't hold a charge, I'm still not 100% sure if it was the charging but it was fine before I started doing it.🤷♂️

Yes it frigged up one of my ps3 controllers, it's not designed to be charged by a mobile phone charger, I just bought a spare ps4 controller and keep one on charge whilst I use the other but to be fair I've never ran out of charge yet and I play call of duty warzone for like 4-6 hrs at a time

To be honest, as soon as I got my ps4, I've always used a phone charger on my controllers. Kinda made sense due to the fact my phone is a Sony. The only phone to not use micro USB is iPhone, but iPhone is terrible compared to android anyway.

The USB thing is common knowledge for anyone who knows what the U stands for.
Interesting side fact, if you have a phone data transfer cord, you can use that as well as a few software programs to use the DS4 controller as a gamepad on computers that don't have Bluetooth, while having the controller remain linked to the console as soon as you unplug it.

I didn't even realise the PS4 HAD a share button, I never really looked at one before. So yeah, of course you know all of these, you've probably owned the console for a couple months or more. Also when you have the hdmi link on with a smart tv you can use your tv remote to navigate through the menus on your ps4 to get to Netflix or something and continue using your tv remote in that app. Unfortunately it doesn't work for games though

You know how the Share menu takes a second to come up? No matter what game you're playing... press Share (like you're about to use it to share a 30sec clip) and then immediately press Options button to pause the game. Bam. That share menu comes up way faster

Did you buy it new or used? Because if used then it might not have been included, but if new the mic looks like an single earbud with a very thin cable with a toggle switch on it. Easy to miss in a flurry of unpacking the box.

when using a wall charger for your controller charging it is advised from sony not to use fast chargers. they can fry the battery.
