Old Boston guy, NH, VT, ME, has always been a great place to go skiing, camping, especially the white mtns, but the whole northeast is beautiful, foliage time, winter, summer. Thank you for the video.
Incredibly I know of even more NY challenges. There is the Moriah challenge, the 4-3-2-1 challenge in the Indian lake region and the ADK 6 pack that combines 6 peaks with 6 breweries. Great video.
Well, for one I can say that I watched start to finish. One patch they need is for completion of all the trails. But it would take a lifetime to achieve. As for the one who won't change the listed names even when proved wrong, well, that's just nuts. I'll never hike any of these being the other side of the pond, but I've enjoyed watching. A lot of work has gone into this Adam. Thank you for sharing. PS I hope the knee is fully recovered.
Thanks for going the extra distance and watching that whole thing. It was soooooo long lol. But hopefully moved quickly. OO gosh there are so many trails I'm not sure anyone could do that. Though they do have the patches for each state so maybe you could just collect them all! O it will always be a continuous process but it is healed up good enough that I can hike with it again which is good enough to me!
Awesome, I’m half way done the Moosehead Pinnacle Pursuit with out even knowing it was a thing. I’m gonna have to knock out the others when I get the chance
Thanks for the great video! I will say there is one you missed in NH: the Belknap Range Red Liner (or trail tracing), which is hiking all 65.5 miles of the Belknap Range trails
Oo I’m sure there are several I missed. There were a couple of trail tracing challenges I tended to not include. I did see this one but chose to focus on the peaks. I made the choice to only do the major major trail chasing challenges. Like I also skipped the ones around Waterville valley.
Wow Adam. That was amazing. I have NEVER seen all of those lists/trails in one place before. Very well done! Fun fact about the five 4K mountain in VT. They are all on the Long Trail! I am also proud to say that my dog, Ruari, is among an elite group of dogs to have completed both the E2E on the LT and the 48-4K NH lists! Unfortunately, Ruari is not allowed to completed the New England 4k list since they don't allow dogs in Baxter State Park :( Amazing video again!
Well I can tell you Jeff why you have never seen that because it was so hard to find them all lol. Literally as I was cutting together the video I would find more and have to keep adding, the video kept growing and it was very frustrating lol. Shoot well maybe you two should think about getting your long trail side to sider patches!
@@AdamHoyt Ha great idea. But I got some other challenges (biking related) for this summer instead :) Fire tower was already on my radar. But honestly, might work on the fire tower patch with our little girl. That is probably the easiest one for her to get! Got to make sure she gets the hiking bug!
Glad you enjoyed it! y a the first hard part was gathering the info, followed by putting it together but also hard was finding a way to make it fun to watch and not super boring lol.
Great video, just what I’ve been looking for! Any chance there’s a way to access the lists in the description without facebook? I don’t have an account but unfortunately it won’t let me view the lists without one. In particular a link to the Wicked Wild list would be helpful. Thanks!
Glad you found it useful! So that’s what was tricky about wanting to link everything. I literally covered so many it would make too crazy long a list of links in the description. Those documents on Facebook I linked consolidated all of the lists in one place for each state for the most part. A google search for any of the list names should be able to find you it’s direct website. Unfortunately for the wicked wild 25 you just might actually need Facebook. There is a separate website with some descriptions but the main curation and official checklist are only contained in the creators Facebook group he made for the wicked wild 25. His separate website does not have this material and only a few blog posts. But maybe it has contact info so you could message him for the pdf file of the list: www.gregwestrich.com/wicked-wild-25
If you're calling the Poconos "mountains" then you should definitely consider the high peaks region of Maine a major mountain range. It's just as impressive as the Adirondacks
@@AdamHoyt looks I missed it then? Do you happen to have the time stamp? I am section hiking the Long Path and absolutely LOVE it. My favorite trial of all.
Which challenge or trail are you working on or want to tackle?
Got to start with the fire tower challenge. Just looks fun.
Very comprehensive collection of hiking lists. Hope your knee is doing well brother. Great video, as always. See you on the peaks!
Much appreciated! Glad you liked the list it certainly took a long time to be so through. See you on the trails!
What a great compilation of all the lists in the area! Thanks for sharing those.... At least we all won't be bored in our lifetimes!
So true! We could literally hike until we die with all of these super long lists that are so crazy long!

Glad you enjoyed the video. It certainly is a wonderful section of the country. I don't think I ever want to leave!

O it was hard to decide and parse all of the different ones. Had to draw the lines somewhere haha. Glad you enjoyed it!
I am working on the ADK Quest Challenge. That one has some unique rules and comes with a patch.
Oh nice! Best of luck with your quest!

As a patch junkie, thank you! I love the 9er and NEK challenges, very off the beaten path and beautiful!
Enough or he’d in here to be hiking for your whole life!
This was great - - thanks for putting all of this together in one spot. I'm working on the NE 111 - - NY and VT are done and I'm halfway through NH.
Glad it was helpful! O wow slowly making your way through. It will be an amazing accomplishment.

Yes that one seemed fun. There are so many different challenges I bet you've partially started even more!
Wow, awesome video. Thank you!!!

Technically Killington is like a .2 side trail
don't forget the holyoke range in Massachusetts
O yes that's a much much smaller one.
Great video, Adam!
Thanks for your hard work in getting all this information together and making it fun to watch. 😊👍🏼

Fantastic vid !!!!!!!!

Do you anticipate any coverage for Maine? All I see is Vermont and New Hampshire.
There is a Maine section in the video! Look in the description for the timecode
Hi Adam.. I hope all is well with You.
Is that Mt. Washington Hotel in the beginning of the video ? Richie
Yes things are feeling much better with my leg! Ya in the very beginning was chocorua lake and then the mt Washington hotel.

Woah mind blown!
Shoutout Will Peterson
