We all know that India and Pakistan are both nuclear nations, but have you ever wondered about the nuclear policies of the two countries? A country's nuclear policy is important because it dictates how it plans to use the weapons in case of a war. While India has maintained a "no first use" policy for decades - meaning it won't ever use nuclear weapons first - Pakistan hasn't made any such promises. Why? I think most of the countries (including Pakistan) won't use Nuclear weapons first cause it is a guarantee of mutual destruction. So even if they have not officially said it but they will follow a No First Use Policy. This would also apply to China and India

Its very true. The policy should be made situational. If there is an urgent need to either stop a war from beginning or to stop a war from continuing, then at that very moment, we should shed off our "NO FIRST USE" policy as for a brief moment it may seem peaceful but in long run, it might create tensions. Anyways we have full faith in our military and govt that whatever decisions they are taking, they are taking it after a long discussion because we live in a democratic country.

First thing is we should not care about reputation about being "responsible nuclear power" if Indian security demands for first use policy thn we should definitely go for it... And in case of big war between India and China both countries will use nuclear weapons only as a last option... As both are capable to destroy each other completely... We know that China is a huge country but we also know that Tibet is a barren land and 90% of their population lives in the western side of China so we can fully destroy China and they can too destroy us... So it's highly unlikely that both countries will use nuclear weapons in case of a future war
