Band-Maid was the creation of Miku Kobato (rhythm guitar , vocals, lyrics, wears red rose) in 2013 ....Kanami (lead guitar, music composer), Misa (Bass, barefoot assassin, drink whiskey on stage), Akane (Drums, the half human/Gorilla- loves to eat) , and Saiki (lead singer, wears blue rose) All are between 25-30 years old. Suggested songs; Play - Dice - Reincarnation- Daydreaming - Alone - Yolo - and about 90 other songs - none of which are bad....any live video is outstanding for this band...they have put out 3 live concert DVD/Blueray produced in 2017-2018-2020 These have between 22-25 songs on them.....most can be found on UA-cam... Just WoW, huh!! Band-Maid was formed in 2013. They are in their late twenties. Miku; Band founder, Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, Spokes-Pigeon Kanami; Lead guitar, music composer Akane; Drums MISA; Bass Saiki; Vocals They write, arrange and produce their songs. In 2019 they toured 3 US cities selling out 5 concerts. All are professionally trained. Kanami, Akane, and MISA were playing piano at 6 yo and they are college level musically trained. Miku was in a Jpop trio and Saiki was a session singer and backup dancer. To be clear THEY are a Rock and Roll band. Little Richard Rest in Peace a True Great One. The biggest difference with Babymetal is that Band-Maid themselves write, arrange, and perform. Babymetal has the best staff around and does the best work. One of the reasons Band-maid is so popular in Japan is that the personality of each member is very attractive. Band-maid do what they really want to do. It's so fascinating that they are enjoying themselves very much. And their daily training for good live performances is tremendous. It's like a professional athlete!
@Jay Bee oh cry me a river. Sour much? Babymetal and Band Maid are nothing alike and shouldn't even be compared. It's only because they're female and come from Japan is why these bands keep getting compared. Would you compare Slipknot to Foo fighters? Of course not.
@Jay Bee I'll admit they I didn't read the last part of your statement so yes we agree on the fact that they're nothing alike but to say their album sucked and they're not great because they only have 3 albums is an idiotic argument in itself. Quantity doesn't equal quality. To be clear though, I really like Band Maid. I think both bands are great and saying that one is better than the other is simply an opinion and doesn't make it true because you can't compare the two. Simply trashing another great band because you think yours is better is juvenile.
Saiki Atsumi - Lead vocals Born Feb 8, 1994 26 years old, 'the Ice Queen'. MISA - Bass Born Oct 15, 1992 27 years old, 'the Assassin'. Miku Kobato - Rhythm guitar, backing vocals Born Oct 21, 1991 28 years old, 'the Small Pigeon' Kanami Tono - Lead guitar Born Sept 28, 1991 28 years old, the Natural Airhead, Musical Genius, 'Princess' Akane Hirose - Drums Born Dec 14, 1990 29 years old, 'the Gorilla'.
I was lucky enough to be turned on to Band Maid by some of my Japanese students. Excellent band all around. They also turned me onto Maximum The Hormone. I love my students. Thanks
All in their mid to upper 20s. They have a decent number of albums out but where they really shine is during the concerts. Moratorium live is probably my favorite of theirs but really you can't go wrong with any of their live tracks.
Isaac Brandewie lol well someone’s got an unnecessary attitude. And you felt the need to respond so I guess you do, from your post it looked like you where trying to prove his post wrong when his post was about another band so maybe read the post before responding next time.
Excellent reaction! Miku (Rhythm Guitar, Vocal) is the oldest if I'm not mistaken. She's pushing 30, I believe 29. She's also the one who started the band and writes the lyrics. Saiki (lead vocal) is the youngest at 25, or maybe 26 now. The rest fall somewhere in between. Kanami (lead guitar) started training on piano at an early age and switched to rock guitar in high school. She composes the music. Misa and Akane (bass and drums respectively) are also highly trained multi-instrumentalists. These girls are no joke! Looking forward to more reactions. I'd put down a link, but honestly, these ladies don't have a bad song in their catalog. Choose any.
Miku will be 29 in October. www.barks.jp/news/?id=1000078709 Saiki turned 26 last February. I remember seeing a video of Saiki teasing Miku about being 810 and during the exchange she said her age. Apparently Kanami's birthday was listed on her Audioleaf account, which would make her 27 right now (28 in September), but I can't confirm that. Likewise Akane's birthday was apparently listed on some social media when she was DJ Aichi, which would make her the oldest at 29 (30 in December). Again though, I can't confirm this. No idea for Misa.
Holding the line in solid Guitar Rock, Band Maid has picked up the mantle of Rock'n'Roll where the West has left it behind! More Band Maid Always!! Put your Kitsune UP!! Po!
I'm a little late to the party, so I'll just say that although I've thoroughly enjoyed your other reactions it's Band-Maid that gets me to subscribe. Thanks guys.
FINALLY! YES! Love these girls! You’re going to get a lot of recommendations for lots of songs, and 90% of the time you should listen to the live recording. They are absolutely a live band! BUT! There are few songs that don’t have a good live recording available: Bubble, Glory, Rinne, and their newest shredfest Blooming. Don’t avoid those (especially Blooming!) just because they aren’t live
@@triceyambae4579 Better than gooood! I'd say mind-blowing. :) Those 4 songs really show-off the band's versatility and creativity. You could hear those 4 and think it was 4 different bands.
since they were starting to promote themself internationally they remastered their debut album to change their sognnames into english and some chorus parts aswell. they're one of the most skilled rockbands Ive seen live.
Great reaction as usual guys, good stuff. Band Maid is an all female Japanese hard rock/metal band and their all in their young 20's. Misa is the bassist, Akane is the drummer, Kanami is the lead guitarist, Saiki is the lead vocalist, and Miku is the back up guitarist. Most of their songs are half English and half Japanese. You guys should react to Band Maid "Onset" or "Play" live next. Keep up the good work!
So happy you finally got around to these amazing ladies! Only discovered them a month ago and they have singlehandedly reignited my love of music. For a relatively new band they have a very large discography already and you will not be disappointed checking it out (po!). I highly recommend 'Don't you tell ME' live for the bass and guitar battle breakdown in the middle!
They are my go-to whenever I need to recharge. They are just so full of energy! Definitely subbed because I can't wait for more BAND-MAID reactions! Stay safe and keep reacting to BAND-MAID!!
Finally!!! What have I been telling you guys, they're brutal. It's like baby metal got older and went through a masters training course and came out even more metal than before.
There really hasn’t been a very good rock band since the take over if Hip hop! Band-Maid delivers an adrenaline punch to the gut when performing live! These ladies are the real deal and the love to connect with the audience giving them a chance to electrify the band as they perform on stage! Beware!!! Once you go down the pigeon hole, there’s no return! Their song catalog contains some 90 songs and there’s not one bad song! Welcome to the wonderful world of Band-Maid!!! Great reaction!! Enjoy
Band-Maid is more hard rock than metal. They certainly didn't invent a genre, they're just really good at what they do. They're all in their late 20s. Their lyrics are mainly in Japanese with English thrown in as a "spice." English, and borrowed English words, are all over Japanese language, business, and society. It can be kinda funny since the translations sometimes aren't *quite* there. Possibly it implies an international clientele / audience, not exactly sure. It's important to understand that the Japanese music market is second only to the US in size, so it's quite easy for groups to make big money there while never worrying about a world audience. Band-Maid are growing in popularity, but Babymetal is undoubtedly a bigger act.
My favourite bands have never been the 'biggest' in the world. Just honest creative musicians who gain fans, who invest in their development, for life rather than the fickle mass audience. I agree their use of English words occasionally is natural for them and not a cynical attempt to win Western audiences. I wouldn't wish them all the negatives that come with being the 'biggest'...rather just the core fan base that their skills deserve.
Welcome to the rabbit-hole of Band-Maid music. I discovered them about a year ago and I love watching these videos of people discovering them. They are great and there are some similar groups in Japan but no one has the combination or talent, musical arrangement, and over all personality of Band-Maid. I am officially hooked.
Welcome aboard, Smokey & Hollywood. You are embarking on (along with many others) an awesome hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:
BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of rock n’ rollers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Consistency (nearly 100 songs with new album, “Conqueror”), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destine for mega-stardom. Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off the rails spectacular. Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 50 favorites! "Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: ua-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/v-deo.html Their later songs drive even more - Rin’ne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Glory, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on. But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE and Smile... or more punky like Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series! And many are represented with over 25 well produced music videos. ua-cam.com/users/BANDMAID Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE concerts such as Tokyo's LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on February 14th (sample “Domination” ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.html), ZEPP 2018, Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 and some of the better 2019 tour Fan vids. Here’s three of what it’s like to see Band-Maid LIVE at super intimate venues. The first taken by Vladimir Chupin in Hamburg: ua-cam.com/video/__1th7ctgMo/v-deo.html, the second taken by JT Dayo in LA: ua-cam.com/video/4uIYBkAybCI/v-deo.html, and third, JOSER8845 in LA: ua-cam.com/video/usWZvlGGDSs/v-deo.html. If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, CD, DVD/BD & Merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid. For fun, check out an awesome, little known "Mega Band-Maid Mix" by DJ Ray of some of their earlier stuff: facebook.com/djrayboston/videos/1004709499579009 Band-Maid members are: (Ages are best est.). At 26 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Leader) as Miku calls her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away the persona. Her charisma, performance and voice focus the experience. Miku Kobato "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 28 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kurrupo! No, no, no… KURRUPO!! Kanami Tono “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 28 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more! Akane Hirose "Gorilla" - Drums, 29 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. Gentlemen I love and enjoy watching pretty much all the Band Maid Reactions I check out. You guys just seem fucking like good ass people and the type of guys I would want to chill with or do a reaction with. I have done some reactions and I actually collaborate with other creators and friends in doing Band Maid Reactions, and just like you two fine gentlemen, we always have a great time doing them. I liked your reaction because of how much fun you had together and the positive energy that you put out, I totally relate to some of the Same things that you pointed out with Domination, and essentially I am telling you that I have had people come in and hear/watch the Maids do Domination live, and I think some of them just don't even know what to say when they see the amazing chemistry and stage presence the ladies have in this video, they have probably never seen anything like it before with any other band's, and just sort of end up watching and their faces look like they are stunned. I don't know if it's the kid in me or some shit but I am telling you that when I get together with my guests and we do the reactions to Band Maid, I can see all of their body language and facial expressions during the song's, and it is absolutely fun as hell as a Band Maid fan to see and enjoy.
I get why you might not want to have both ears covered by the headphones, but Band Maid takes full advantage of both left and right channels. You likely only heard about 70% of the song. Fixed halfway through :)
Whenever people react to BabyMetal and Band Maid, the conversation will eventually get around to comparing the two. I love them both, but cannot compare them musically because they are two completely different entities. I can explain the difference between them though. Band Maid is simply the best rock band on the planet today. BabyMetal is something more, a state of mind, and unstoppable movement, and a force for good. It was BabyMetal that led me to Band Maid, and to Wagakki Band, and to Doll$Boxx, Sakura Gakuin, Sabaton, and the Hu Band.
I'm an old school metalhead and I have to admit, Japanese girls are saving Rock'n'Roll. I've yet to see Band Maid or Babymetal but both are on the must see list.
Kanami Tono, the lead guitarist, have been playing guitar for almost 15 years. Kobato Miku, the rhythm guitarist starting the band without proper knowledge of playing guitar, then Kanami became her mentor since then. She's been mentored by Kanami since 2013.
So another rabbit hole for you guys lol Welcome to Band-Maid, some of my personal faves: Real Existence, Don't let Me Down, Dice, Play!(Live Version), Onset(Live), Puzzle(Live), Glory, Bubble, both tracks as Band-Maiko: Secret Maiko Lips, and Gion-cho, Blooming, and Rinne, but they have so much more and as much as I love their Heavy stuff, some their more "slower" songs are still amazing just not my cup of tea, but it does show their range so....enjoy the ride guys!!!!
They have a few brand new songs that just came out. Different and After Life. they are amazing and would love to see you guys react to them. Love the videos from you guys so much
Onset, check it out and see how wild these ladies tear it up! Again, live performance for sure. Loving that one reaction, can't wait for the rest to come... Ain't your typical band fellas, stay tone because they're not done yet. Join the Band-Maid obsession and enjoy your favorite ladies.....
You have just discovered the best rock band in the world. They are all master musicians and their live shows are legendary. Jimmy Page rates them highly and thinks their drummer amongst the best in the world.
You can't really compare the two bands. Band-Maid has a very traditional rock background. They learned the instruments on their own, formed the band on their own. They perform in the familiar live on-stage style. Babymetal is way different. (Not discrediting their talent) Their start is closer to a regular pop singer. The three main girls got discovered by a talent agency when they were ages 5 and 6. They were (and still are) pop music fans, and their goal was to become jpop idols. The pop-metal fusion was the idea of one man in the agency, basically as an experiment. Musicians in the agency wrote the songs, and the girls sang and danced to them. The instrumentals we're not even live in the beginning, the other members we're more for show; the illusion of a metal concert. (A pop style concert in front of a metal concert) It gained popularity quickly, and that's when they transitioned to live and permanent members of the band. While they are more like a traditional band today, they still have some of the best musicians the agency has playing in the band, along with world-famous dance choreographers to train the girls.
Been waiting for you guys to get to one of my favorite bands of all time (and I've only recently discovered them myself this past February). Band-Maid literally does not have a dud song in their catalogue. They're all amazing. Here are some more recommendations: BAND-MAID - Don't You Tell Me (live) ua-cam.com/video/foqErbEw05o/v-deo.html BAND-MAID - PLAY Live: ua-cam.com/video/YeiIju_t1D8/v-deo.html BAND-MAID - 輪廻 ( RINNE ): ua-cam.com/video/CQ9dbEVgZcA/v-deo.html BAND-MAID - Onset (live): ua-cam.com/video/roP4HFlGBUI/v-deo.html
10:24 In BAND-MAID song they insert about 20% English into their music they have 2 song which is all English. *Don’t let me down* ua-cam.com/video/0YGwUhg2XNk/v-deo.html _(Music Video)_ *The Dragon Cries* ua-cam.com/video/skEkpogsmE0/v-deo.html _(Music Video)_ The only song American song that has some Japanese in it is "Blue Oyster Cult Godzilla" and "STYX Mr Roboto" 😜
They're might be not literally the best guitarists, bassist, drummer and singer in the world, but they come pretty close to it. All of them are insanely talented. Besides that there chemistry is flawless, you just see at the quality of there live shows how hard they work to make it sound absolutely perfect.
These girls are Great musicians! I love the bass player. She plays a six string bass and kicks butt! When they first started out they weren't the best musicians but have gotten better and better and now have become incredible musicians. 😁
I've been to hundreds of shows going back to the early 80s, including shows people tell war stories about. No band in the past 15+ years have touched me at such a deep level as these 5 girls. The talent is world class. The crowd control/interaction is top 1% ever. The depth of their catalog is crazy. Their "filler" songs would be singles on other band's albums. Watching a live video is great but BEING THERE is life altering. I'm not being hyperbolic...I mean it. I've never traveled for a band before but I went from LA to SF in 2017 for them and I'm going to Tokyo next February (if COVID doesn't F it up). If you want another killer track check out Dice (live) or Onset (live). Onset is an instrumental and is a freaking next level talent show.
This is a good into song to Band-Maid. No comparison to Baby Metal. I have seen both play here in LA and love them but Band-Maid is a Hard Rock sound. These ladies will be the savior of Rock music. If you continue on this journey you will see how talented each of these 5 ladies are. I have been following Band-Maid since 2016 and these musicians love to play and have fun on stage. Oh and get used to this, MISA!!!! MISA!!!! MISA!!!! the Badass Bass Assassin. React to Play, Onset, Don't you tell Me, Moratorium, Puzzle(non-acoustical version)Take me Higher from the 2018 Live concert in Tokyo. Their MV are good but the Live versions kick ass
I'd not heard that Hip-Hop acts are getting into rock (not surprising as it's not my scene, in truth). It'd be kind of weird if the genre that did so much to push rock out, was the one that saw it be pulled back into popularity. Sometimes I feel Band-Maid are just one influential fan away from exploding in popularity. They just haven't benefited from the exposure Babymetal have had.
This right here! I keep hoping someone who knows Dave Grohl makes him watch a live video. They would be the prefect (though dangerous) opener for a Foo Fighters tour. Dangerous because Dave would have to follow THAT ever night.
Babymetal and BANDMAID are both AWESOME! However, BANDMAID TO ME IS FAR AND AWAY MY FAVORITE GROUP! They are OFF THE CHARTS TALENTED! It’s almost hard to believe!
Aside from the Wow! Factor and that they're both Japanese Female Fronted, they have very little in common with BabyMetal. BabyMetal started 10 years ago when they were kids. BAND-MAID started three years later in their their late teens and early twenties. BabyMetal are only now in their late teens and early twenties. BabyMetal was formed by a producer as a Concept Group for SuMetal. BAND-MAID formed organically as a real band when Miku, after working in a Maid Cafe', found Kanami through her Internet guitar videos. She suggested Akane as a drummer, she had worked with who brought in MISA on bass, who she had played with in Music College. When Miku decided to bring in another girl to take over on lead vocals, Saiki was found through the bands agency.
I like to think of BAND MAID as the Perfect Storm ! You have Miku working in a Maid Cafe and wants to start a rock band, but can"t play an instrument. She finds Kanami on UA-cam doing guitar covers, who knows Akane the drummer, who went to music school with Misa the bass player. Then they kind of trick Saiki to join them by having a live performance only days after her first audition. Who would have thought that chain of events would have brought together this group of talented women? But I'm glad it did!
Band-Maid has made it to where they are the old fashioned way. The earned their way to the top going through some pretty lean years at first. Once they started being allowed to write their own music, they skyrocketed. Baby Metal is a corporate construct that had tons of money pumped into their act from the very beginning. Baby metal is no better than any K-Pop flash in the pan. Their shelf life will be short and Band-Maid will go on for quite a while.
Every syllable you wrote about Babymetal is misinformed and moronic. Just another nobody on the net spouting nonsense while most big names in metal praise this band.
@@rickfromtexas4659 YOU are wrong. You read something and thought that was all there was to it. As if I read your username and think of a grimy old lonesome cowboy with a red face and a horse. I'm sure reality is different, lol. The girls were very young when chosen by a talent scout, who happened to be a metalhead with a crazy dream... bringing heavy metal and Jpop together. His agency gave him the go ahead but nothing else, they thought he was nuts. In Japan, metal music is a very small niche to begin with... There was NO financial support whatsoever, the girls performed a few years in shopping malls and very small theatre's, in borrowed clothes and NO backing band, but a mime show. After a while their songs created interest on youtube and only then a live band and funds were made available. So, very humble beginnings but a shitload of talent. Take their age into account and it all comes across as perfectly natural. Hope I filled you in some with this.
Read the article I linked about how they were created by a producer. None of the girls had ever heard any metal music before this guy put the band together. Even the musicians change depending on other gigs.www.inverse.com/article/12922-a-brief-history-of-japanese-metal-idol-band-babymetal
@@rickfromtexas4659 Don't be bone headed, Rick. I gave you the information that is more to the point then that article. And the fact that the girls didn't know metal, well, how old were YOU when listening to metal for the first time? They PLAYED in it at 12-14 years old, while you were at most still a despair to your parents. They received praise from Rob Zombie, Rob Halford, Matt Heafy, Dave Mustaine, Marty Friedman, Oliver Sykes, DragonForce. They played with Guns and Roses, Chili Peppers, Metallica, Korn and received numerous awards from the metal community. Drop your idea's about them, man. If not, forget about it.
First saw BandMaid as the last of four bands in a line-up at the little rock club in Shinjuku called AntiKnock. That was 2016 and their new album came out that week, which I picked up the next day. So glad I was there as I imagine it's going to be hard to see them in such a small venue for quite some time now! It's been really good to see them take off as they have; they deserve it. By the way, the third band up that night was called exist†trace (yes, spelled with a cross). On the night I thought they were the better band, but that's the slickness of being around a lot longer, about 14 years then, I think. Their style has gone through a lot of phases in those years, but if you fancied seeing what they were doing when I saw them first in 2016 have a look at 'Dream Lover' on UA-cam. Last time I was down at AntiKnock (to see exist†trace again) I saw a band called Fake Island with two very, er, different singers. You can check 'Fortune' if you like. Have Fun.
As a baby metal fan I also like Band Maid both are different and great at the same time I think you will love Band maid and their music I would recommend their song “Thrill” the riffs are off the charts and maybe check out the band “LOVEBITES” also an all female metal band 🤘
As a big fan of Band-Maid, I'm happy to see y'all enjoy them, Play live which is in one of the comments is a great song with good bass and guitar solos, but I personally like Don't you tell me (live) this version has an amazing call and response by MISA (bassist) and Kanami (guitarist) that's so good ua-cam.com/video/foqErbEw05o/v-deo.html

Band-Maid was the creation of Miku Kobato (rhythm guitar , vocals, lyrics, wears red rose) in 2013 ....Kanami (lead guitar, music composer), Misa (Bass, barefoot assassin, drink whiskey on stage), Akane (Drums, the half human/Gorilla- loves to eat) , and Saiki (lead singer, wears blue rose)
All are between 25-30 years old. Suggested songs; Play - Dice - Reincarnation- Daydreaming - Alone - Yolo - and about 90 other songs - none of which are bad....any live video is outstanding for this band...they have put out 3 live concert DVD/Blueray produced in 2017-2018-2020

@Jay Bee I'll admit they I didn't read the last part of your statement so yes we agree on the fact that they're nothing alike but to say their album sucked and they're not great because they only have 3 albums is an idiotic argument in itself. the information that i needed!! LOL
I was lucky enough to be turned on to Band Maid by some of my Japanese students.
Excellent band all around. They also turned me onto Maximum The Hormone. I love my students.
Thanks
More Band-Maid is what the world needs.
Listen to their “onset” instrumental live version. It’ll blow you away.
this!
They are going to fall of their chairs... FOR SURE! :)
nice reaction♪❤️ようこそBAND MAIDの世界に😁まだまだあるよ!また reaction楽しみにしてます。
All in their mid to upper 20s. They have a decent number of albums out but where they really shine is during the concerts.
Moratorium live is probably my favorite of theirs but really you can't go wrong with any of their live tracks.
Agree. Moratorium also great live.
Not even su-metal 22
Moa-metal-20
Yui-metal 20
Idk bout su's replacment( for lack of a better term)
Isaac Brandewie there talking about band-maids age range not baby-metals.
And im supposed to care
Isaac Brandewie lol well someone’s got an unnecessary attitude. And you felt the need to respond so I guess you do, from your post it looked like you where trying to prove his post wrong when his post was about another band so maybe read the post before responding next time.
Guys welcome to Band Maid! These ladies are legit! Check out 'Play' live. Keep on rocking! 🤘🏽
yea there pretty awesome
Dice would be another great song
Choose any.
Miku will be 29 in October.
www.barks.jp/news/?id=1000078709
Saiki turned 26 last February.
@@acornsoda22 I believe MISA just turned 27 last October
Now you can try these 3 songs in new DVD. They are gooood!!
They're all in their mid to late '20s, not early '20s.
Miku was born in 1991, Saiki is the youngest, born in 1994.
More Band Maid !!
Y'all gonna have to designate another day that is for Band-maid. They have SOOOO much good stuff!
Band-Maid puts on a great live show. I saw them in L.A. Can’t wait to see them again
You should add Band-Maid as a weekly reaction. They have a lot of great songs and videos to react to. They also have a very passionate fanbase.
They have no bad songs
They are my go-to whenever I need to recharge. They are just so full of energy! Definitely subbed because I can't wait for more BAND-MAID reactions! Stay safe and keep reacting to BAND-MAID!!
one of the greatest new bands out there welcome to the fan club. these girls deserve to dominate the world
Enjoy
Greta Van Fleet and Airbourne are fantastic modern Hard Rock bands.
Band Maid CRUSHES baby metal. Not even close
And many are represented with over 25 well produced music videos. ua-cam.com/users/BANDMAID
Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE concerts such as Tokyo's LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on February 14th (sample “Domination” ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.html), ZEPP 2018, Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 and some of the better 2019 tour Fan vids. If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, CD, DVD/BD & Merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo
Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid. For fun, check out an awesome, little known "Mega Band-Maid Mix" by DJ Ray of some of their earlier stuff: facebook.com/djrayboston/videos/1004709499579009
Band-Maid members are: (Ages are best est.).
Saiki Atsumi “Ice Queen" - Lead vocals, arrangements, melodies and High Priestess mediator between the Gods (Band Members) and the masters and princesses (Fans).
This “DrumRilla” is the Party!
MISA "Assassin" - Bass, 27 years old. A sullen, barefoot, dark spirit driving her 5-string bottom-end to hell and back, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. The Mysterious One literally kills it… every note.. uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!
Welcome to BAND MAIDs world...they are the most dominating band right now
BAND-MAID - Don't you tell ME (Live)
BAND-MAID - PLAY (Live)

I didn't know you didn't react to bandmaid after 10,000 subscriber's.
bandmaid is awesome specially the live one.
You've opened a can by reacting to Bandmaid, lol! Best hardrock band i've heard in sooooooo long. ALL of their live stuff is fire
Thanks for checking out Band- Maid finally!!! Check out onset, instramental but kicks ass and shows off their talents!!!
Good old hard rock, mixed with some punk influences and a dash of metal. 🤘🤘
"play" by them has some seriously funky bass in it.
Real musicians playing real music, nothing more needs to be said !
I love your reactions guys. For BANDMAID, my favorites you haven't seen yet woud be choose me or play. Good luck to 20 000!
They're Hard Rock band.
Band-Maids core is Hard Rock.
Then flavoured with some punk and poppy elements.
I got to see them live at their first show in Dallas which was sold out. Amazing band amazing lady’s. They don’t have a bad song.
MOOOARRR Band-Maid! They just dropped "Play" live from the same concert. "Freedom" is a banger too!
I always love seeing folks going into Band-Maid blind. And this particular one is a great intro.
Now y'all have to watch Dice, and thrill.
Also try In this moment- big bad wolf, and roots.
I think the term you're looking for is shredding, lol.
You guys should check out "Moratorium" by Band-Maid, by far my favorite song and has a really heavy section.
Ditto
Morotarium is my fave song
You gotta see their song "Play" the live version. Will blow your mind. ✌
They have a few brand new songs that just came out. Different and After Life. they are amazing and would love to see you guys react to them. Love the videos from you guys so much
Great reaction, great song selection. Keep the reactions coming, there is more still more to come.
"something out of our norm" --YEP!!! You got it! Enjoyed your reaction!
You have just discovered the best rock band in the world. They are all master musicians and their live shows are legendary. Jimmy Page rates them highly and thinks their drummer amongst the best in the world.
Nice one lads. MORE! :)
Four years later, 158k subs. Well worth it. Y'all rock.
Been waiting for you guys to get to one of my favorite bands of all time (and I've only recently discovered them myself this past February).
Band-Maid literally does not have a dud song in their catalogue. They're all amazing.

Definitely try Band Maid “Onset “ live it will blow your mind !!!
Surprised you never watched anymore of thier stuff, check out Freedom live if you get the chance.
They're might be not literally the best guitarists, bassist, drummer and singer in the world, but they come pretty close to it. All of them are insanely talented. Besides that there chemistry is flawless, you just see at the quality of there live shows how hard they work to make it sound absolutely perfect.
Baby metal is an all male band with three female singers no comparison
Fun fact: the bassist drinks straight whiskey while on stage and gets drunk, but plays better that way.
Nothing like babymetal to me.great reaction guys..
Maybe it's time for you to back to Band Maid.
Thank you great reaction. More Band maid please.
Band maid play their instruments🤘🤘🤘🤘
These girls are Great musicians! I love the bass player. She plays a six string bass and kicks butt! When they first started out they weren't the best musicians but have gotten better and better and now have become incredible musicians. 😁
Saiki has control over both of you. You were both singing "hello, hello" by the end of the song.
Don't worry, their live performances are the best !
Aldious - Dominator live is great. The drums and bass combo in the middle with no guitars was a pleasant surprise because you never get that.
Yall should check out "don't you tell me (live version)" by Band-Maid as well.
BandMaid is a really good band. Check out more, BUT need to check out a band called "Lovebites" also a really good band as well!!!!
Best band hand down
You should check out the acoustic version of there song called puzzle very beautiful.
You are wrong. Read up on the history of Baby Metal. It IS a corporate construct.
Wanna fall deeper with another super japanese Band? Heavymetal one?? Try Lovebites..
any of their MV, or better the live one..
:D
