CAPM® Exam Changes - April 25, 2023
PMI has announced that the CAPM Exam will change effective July 25, 2023, with the last day to take the current exam being July 24. Our team at Instructing.com has spent the last several months working on updates to our CAPM course materials to bring you all-new CAPM training materials for the new exam by June 17. We are thrilled to be a part of this journey with you.
Per PMI: “Starting 25 July, the new CAPM certification exam will be available and will better support you in your career journey. By going beyond A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) the new exam will integrate content across project management including business analysis and agile principles.”
Current CAPM Exam: The last day to take the current CAPM Exam will be July 24, 2023. There is still plenty of time to prepare for and take the current exam. For those preparing to take the current exam, we recommend continuing your preparation in our courses and scheduling your exam.

New CAPM Exam: The earliest date to schedule the new CAPM Exam is July 25, 2023. Instructing.com endeavors to begin releasing our all-new CAPM Exam Prep Materials on or before June 17, 2023.

Hi Joseph, i m your student on Udemy, it seems PMI publish the new ECO based on 7th Edition, and we wonder if the course on Udemy based on 6th Edition can be helpful for the 2023 May exam? if not, how can we get access to new edition? (my classmates are also waiting for your updates,too😁)
As of January 30, 2023, the CAPM exam has not yet changed. As of right now, our course materials are current to the exam and will be updated once the exam changes.
There has yet to be an official announcement from PMI of when the CAPM exam is changing. All PMI will release at this time is that “The CAPM exam is changing in early 2023.”
The CAPM exam is based on the Exam Content Outline (ECO). The PMBOK Guides are just one of the many references in preparation for the exam. Our CAPM® course materials are current and will be updated to reflect any changes based on the updated ECO when PMI releases an official statement of when the exam changes will occur. We recommend moving forward with the current ECO and accompanying course material. We also highly recommend reviewing the Exam Content Outline to prepare for the exam.

Thank you for watching the video and for commenting. Our team is monitoring the CAPM exam changes closely and will update our course materials based on the Exam Content Outline (ECO) from PMI as soon as the exam officially changes.
For now, per the PMI website, the exam has not yet changed. (As of January 12, 2023)

2. Your CAPM 6 th edition is still eligible to write exam in PMI or else need to wait for seventh edition release by you. Can we start prepare old edition? Please help to respond and quickly update the seventh edition we are waiting 🙂.Thank you
The CAPM Exam has not changed. PMI has indicated that the CAPM exam will likely change at some point n 2023, but PMI has yet to make an official announcement on when the exam will change.
Additionally, the CAPM exam is based on the Exam Content Outline (ECO).
