Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I teach craft classes to adults w/ disabilities and we operate on a very small budget. Art supplies can be so expensive, but not anymore thanks to you!
Incredible. I've been scouring the net finding little bits and pieces of how to make various textures and finishes for making dioramas. Hobby stuff isn't cheap and spending $20-30 on a jar of something when I might use only a tbsp or two a month seems crazy. And here you are with all the answers in one video! Incredible! Thank you so much!
I just found you a couple weeks ago and have been going through all of your videos. You are a real treasure! I make fairy houses and I've calculated that your ideas for homemade glue, clay, glass paint and textured paint have save me over $150 so far. I also want to commend you for your high quality videos. You get right into it, without wasting time. Bravo 👏. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. ❤️❤️❤️
I've been looking for a glass paint substitute to expensive commercial brands. I got so much more than that from this one video! Totally amazing. And you're so right, the savings!
Thank you Ms. Cat, I have been wanting to do a 3D liner project for a long time. Now I, can do it without having to spend a lot of money on the professional brands. May God bless, and keep you all safe.
Thank you so Much Ms C Cat for putting these all on one video. I wish you had added your air dry clay also, but I’m just glad to have these in one place. Maybe someday you can make a video about different “hacks” you use while crafting. Love your channel.
I adore this video❣♥️❣♥️❣ so talented and love she shows her actual demos and finished pieces ! I could craft and chat with her all day long if she lived in my neighborhood! She'd have to kick me out!!! Lol...ty dear.
Just discovered your channel this morning and I must say this is truly the best! I often want to start a new project but the supplies costs are so much I don’t even start. I did ceramics and polymer clay but the supplies were. It worth it for something I was only starting out with, not knowing if I would even like the craft. So making all these supplies myself will let me experiment and find my niche. I am inspired and ready for a whole new adventure. I just have away 100 ceramic molds due to not having a kiln, nor access to one. Now I have seen your beautiful work and an resdu to begin to create on a budget I can afford! Thank you a million times. I subscribed right away. Look forward to more ideas.
Very informative and useful,I am so glad that someone’s teach us something that will definitely uses and it’s make very easy life 😅❤❤❤ love from Pakistan 🇵🇰

Yes, this video is great. Just make sure if you are using baby powder for the ones she used plaster of paris for, you use talc (talcum) baby powder. The cornstarch baby powder will not work for chalk paint, gesso, and some of the other ones she made. It would be fine for the textured/3D paint, because that is meant to be super thick and shiny, but it won't work for chalk paint, gesso, and whatever else she used plaster of paris for.
Wow, I stumbled onto your channel and I am sooooo excited. Thank you, this is a total blessing as art supplies in my town is almost non existant and when you get them way expensive. What a blessing you are
This video is so helpful, you are great and sharing your art & craft knowledge and ideas with us, in this video you tell us that how we can not waste so much money on market products and can make them easily at home thanku so much for such greatful tips

You are excellent. I just paid $24.99 BEFORE TAXES for a little jar of texture paste, am determined to not remove seal and return for refund. Thank you for all the wonderful recipes and demonstrations, so well presented. So glad I found your videos.
I add some wallpaper paste for a better texture (methylcellulose) - mod podge. For chalk paint, powdered chalk is also great. Your cones are better than my zip-lock cut off corner method. It makes a thinner line. Great ideas!!!!
