Dave and Daz trading that blank card around was pretty funny. But I could have sworn the earlier trade cards said that you can't give the other player the card that you just took from them, which makes sense.. so I'd bet that that applies to all trades and they just forgot about it.

You guys should play the monopoly cards game, it's monopoly but in cards form and also involves tactics similar to this. It's not as long average game is about 10mins long for beginners
Try Mille Bornes. It’s a card game with similar reversals of fortune. Pretty easy and fast-paced.

but mike played a trade deal and never gave a card and then the other card that said trade 3 cards and never gave 3 cards which led him to only having 2 cards after taking daves hand so technically they all cheated, but dave cheated a bit more giving those "do nothing" cards back twice

didn't cheat intentionally though.. failure from not knowing the rules. Or.. maybe he did know since he was the one reading the rules and just pretended to be confused :)
also, I suppose there were more rule breaks than just that one.. eg. Mike forgetting to trade cards and only taking them.. so I guess a wash. If they wanted to be truly competitive about it, they could do a non-scoring trial run off air first, but then we don't get the fun of them trying to learn something new. I dunno.. I'm overthinking it.

Those modern games are maddening to figure out the rules. We've purchased games, read through the rules, felt like idiots, and then just put the damn thing in a drawer.
