I was a Kc-10 Crew Chief there KBAD 91-94, tdy to Hickam many times. The good ole days. I sat in that boomers cockpit seat many times for takeoff, even better view from the boomers seat in the back below.

Always loved flying out of Hickam on that runway. Beautiful when it's clear. 68thAirEvac-452AES 1990-97.
Thank you for your service!
Taxied out to Rwy 08R at the same time a US Navy Attack Submarine was making way out of Pearl Harbor one afternoon. So cool to see that.
Wow! That’s so cool! I loved it!
Thank you for watching!
Recommended title change: KC-10 taxies to the runway.
Worked on the KC-10 at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana from 1987-1994 98 CAMS (USAFR)

Yup, 08R is!
Take off right into a thunderstorm
@@goldstandardaviation1667 Wasn’t a thunderstorm, lol. Rain showers passing over the field.
Apparently the military doesn't share the FAA's "Sterile Cockpit" edict. 😉
What you mean them talking?
Ok umm......ready set go? Now? How about now?
What a hardship tour….sorry man
Do not overfly the beach.
