This animation's not terrible, but after seeing the 15 episode Bloody Bunny, it's almost unfair to compare the two. Plus, the voice acting is a little hard to listen to. Only time and training can fix that. This series also feels like a self-insert fan fiction. But this is only the first episode and there are a lot of shows that had bad first episodes but turned out pretty good. But take my critique with a pinch of salt. If you like it, cool. You saw something in it that I didn't. You enjoy it.

This is... oh how do I put it into words... a beyond strange animation that doesn’t fit who Bloody Bunny is at all... but I must say even as a huge fan of Bloody Bunny I do like Ayupan as a character, she sorta reminds me of Junko from Danganronpa kinda like how Bloody Bunny kinda reminds me of Monokuma! I watched all the Bloody Bunny stuff way before the Danganronpa Anime, but I feel the urge to draw a crossover of Ayupan, Bloody Bunny, Junko, and Monokuma!

Second, I don't like that they messed with Bunny's story. I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was just an ancestor of hers and her actual origin of a girl who got killed and reincarnated as a rabbit doll was kept intact. But you can't just mess with Bunny's origin story like that. And third, I REALLY don't like how they toned down the violence. I know this is supposed to be more cutesy, but it's Bloody Bunny. She should be allowed to get, you know, _bloody!_ That's the whole point! This is like pairing a pepper-fried steak with a red velvet cake: they're not bad, but they're two extremely contrasting flavors, and they really shouldn't go together unless you want to end up compromising one of them. In case it wasn't clear, Bunny's the steak, and her flavor has been compromised here. *ADDENDUM:* Okay, I know now that this came out before The First Blood did, so, yeah, sorry about me being stupid. However, I think my point about the toned-down violence still stands.

Also, in this show, and don't be my enemy, BB is a guy. Genderless in the original. And since Brightshadow Vs. Bloody Bunny (Fanmade) uses her First Blood incarnation, She's female in it. That whole crossover with Brightshadow was kinda cool actually. Lots of blood, and violence, because BB is already violent in First Blood, but Brightshadow is even bloodier in all his shows, besides the second one. I wish Brightshadow hadn't been taken off UA-cam because of it. Atleast he's on newgrounds still, and on TV in Canada (Where he was created) so I can watch his like 10 shows whenever.
Found the link to this video from the 3D Bloody Bunny and I gotta say, this sucks in comparison. I'm not talking animation, the 3D version conveyed every part of the story without a word, here the story is not only told to us but it sucks.

The story is different because it's an alternative universe duh. And this Bloody Bunny can't have the same story as the original one anyway, since the original story takes place in a world where humanity is enslaved by living dolls, and Ayupan lives in our world in the present. Plus Ayupan changed too. Her haircut was changed and her outfit (which is a shame, I really like her original outfit), and she doesn't make her little move with her hand when introducing like in the original animated series. But we technically don't have that much info about Ayupan so we can't see how much she has changed. Also people wonder where Mumu is. Okay I wonder too, but then if we follow this logic, where is Maron ? It's one of Ayupan's dogs that she's really close to.

But that being said the characters and story dont really blend well, especially since BloodBunny has already been painted as a not-a-single-fuck-given badass and then he's just demoted to a less cool bodyguard with some new weird backstory (he was a god 600yrs ago wat? that was in the 1400's when people were settin sail for the New World). This feels like if Dark Knight Batman was 2018 Disney-fied. Animation's not bad, ive seen MUCH worse from bigger and better projects. Everything here was still pretty clean and consistent in terms of drawing quality and consistency. Actual animation quality was a bit sketchy in parts (watch 4:15 frame by frame. BB literally just flies towards the screen as a single still image) and felt amateurish. Also not sure what was up with the random log at 4:21(?) And it's already been said, but the voiceover was just garbage overall. Sounded like the audio was recorded through an phone mic and it doesn't match the animation.
This seems like those self insert fanfictions where they take an episode of a show or a movie and throw their oc in, and completely destroying the original story to make it all about their oc I'll give them credit because I think a cutesy popstar and a tough edgy character working side by side is a neat idea Also why is the screen constantly slightly shaking like a aesthetic fancam
The first minute was good, but then just keeps getting worse and worse, starting with the lame voice acting. This is such a disappointing union. BB on its own was 100 times better than this... and is not like the effort on this work wasn't good, is the lame transition between the scenes, the animation is not as fluid as it should be and the plot is not strong enough to pick my interest into the next episode. Sorry, just giving my personal opinion.
I am embarrassed to admit that I used to be obsessed with anything Bloody Bunny related 7 years ago. And actually somewhat enjoyed this show. Although, the game was better.

I like the original bloody bunny.. The 3D graphic and fastest movement.. This is 2D and slow.. Even tho, lips sync is unmatched with what character say..

3:05-3:09 Okay, this Series might have many Flaws, but this is the best Joke by far (To be fair, there is no Competition)
The first minute was good, but then just keeps getting worse and worse, starting with the lame voice acting. This is such a disappointing union. BB on its own was 100 times better than this... and is not like the effort on this work wasn't good, is the lame transition between the scenes, the animation is not as fluid as it should be and the plot is not strong enough to pick my interest into the next episode. Sorry, just giving my personal opinion.
I am embarrassed to admit that I used to be obsessed with anything Bloody Bunny related 7 years ago. And actually somewhat enjoyed this show. Although, the game was better.
