Great review guys as always. Love this film. I heard Cs friends got the idear of the molotov cocktail when they saw a gang of youths in the Bronx throw one at an infoumous street gang called the Orphans.

I always thought the stiff running was because he was too cool to run properly and wrinkle his clothes or sweat. My gosh, the mental gymnastics necessary to understand the weird run ha!

The movie ( 29th Street from 1991) it's about the first winner of the New York State Lottery and it's a true story. I have it on VHS and DVD. Danny Aiello is so good and it's funny a hell

It was a more well round view than most mob movies. There was complexity to the characters. As an unapologetically black female I love it. This Goodfellas and The Godfather 1&2
The best mob movies, imo, are based on great and complex characters with the mob being more of a supporting character.

So I saw a interview with chazz about this movie. Robert de niro directed this movie & is known for only dating black woman. Chazz wanted to set the record straight that the movie was based off his life & that he dated a black woman & it wasn't de Niro's Idea to have it in the movie

@@KisstheReviewsI'll look for it, I think it was with Micheal francese but I've seen a few interviews over the years. With Micheal francese he had a couple of them & francese also had a interview with the guy who played c. The guy was upset that chazz disowned him & when he asked chazz about it chazz said he had warned him many times before his downfall & the wasted talent thing was always what his father told him & what he tried to tell the guy. he could not forgive him for being responsible for a cop dying & felt he was responsible himself by hiring him as a actor for the movie.
That whole story is sad AF and I feel for Chazz.
From the interview I saw the guy did seem to change his life
